Beautiful clean fully furnished, detached studio apartment in a safe quiet neighborhood, 2 blocks from beach trail, ten minute walk to park and other beaches. Studio has a private entrance, is sunny with lots of natural light, full kitchen, a king size bed, couch, 50 inch TV, WiFi included. Kitchen with gas range/oven, refrigerator/freezer, microwave, toaster and coffee maker. Bathroom with a shower. Washer and dryer on site. Side yard with private patio table. Beach chairs and supplies are available on request. It’s a quick walk to the beach with miles of open sand beach to walk, surf, fish. A short ride or drive Nisene Marks state park to redwood forest full of hiking and biking trails, and short drive to lots of restaurants and entertainment. Parking for one car in driveway. Come enjoy the beach and redwoods!

The studio is charming and cozy. The kitchen was so easy to work in…lots of nice cookware and utensils. Nice layout too.

Beautiful and comfortable space, close enough to fun activities but tucked away enough to feel like you're getting away from the world. Kona is an excellent host!!

Very nice location and very nice little converted garage "cottage."
We will stay again. Has a nice functional kitchen and bathroom with shower. There is a quaint garden outside and a short walk through a very nice neigborhood to Aptos beach.
The others who live on the property made a little noise Friday night coming and going, but nothing harsh.
We'll stay again for sure.

My husband and I had a great time at this studio. We were able to check in early, which was perfect! It was the perfect amount of space for us. It was nice having the kitchen available. We were able to walk down to the beach. We will definitely be coming back and staying at the beach cottage. Thanks, again!

Wife and spent a few days hiking around Santa Cruz and this place was a great place to have our base. Clean and roomy for an in-law unit, we had so much fun seeing the area and eating at local restaurants.

The place was exactly like the pictures! Nice amount of space for 2 people and close to a lot of things! The only complaint is the floors were a little dirty and the teenage kids (who live in the house) were loud.

This Cottage looks exactly as it is shown. Cute private patio with gorgeous landscaping! Cottage is absolutely the cutest and perfectly functional. It was furnished with everything we needed, located in a quiet neighborhood we couldn't have asked for anything more!! Kona is a super hostess and quickly responded to our needs. We will definitely keep this listing on our radar for future visits to the West Coast!! I highly recommend this sweet Cottage and it's owner Kona!

Kona was a perfect host! We received a text letting us know that the property was ready for us a few hours before check in (awesome!), and when we requested beach chairs and towels, Kona went over and above and left us a beach tent and mat, as well as extra chairs (in addition to two excellent backpack chairs) in case we needed them. The place is extremely comfortable for a couple--great bed and a cute kitchen that we used to make breakfast each morning. Delicious coffee and French press, plus nicer kitchen tools than we've encountered in other VRBOs. Best of all was the quick walk to the beach.

The neighborhood was very quiet and serene. We were glad to have a little kitchen with everything we needed. The space heater was a nice touch to take off the morning chill. Thank you!

I was looking to be able to lie on a quiet beach, hike in the redwoods, and sleep in a comfy bed. This stay provided all of that! Kona and family offered a chair to use on the beach and left a bottle of wine. I sat at the bistro table for a quiet read and could cook myself dinner while watching a movie or Netflix at night.

The inside is modern and clean and has everything you need. It is also decorated so cute!! Comfy bed and great shower pressure. Cute little patio table out front. You can enjoy a peaceful walk through the neighborhood surrounded by gorgeous trees and then down a short trail to get to the beach.

My wife and I enjoyed our stay and Kona is a great host starting with a thoughtful welcome gift. The place was very clean and had everything we needed. We are simple travelers, like to cook breakfast at home, BBQ, etc.
Kona’s suggestions for the places to go were right on point, local restaurants, etc. Access to the beach was great, we love to walk in the morning and did so every morning along the beach.
This little studio was very nice, great location, and quite.

Well furnished, clean and cozy cottage/studio about 15-20 minutes from the downtown Santa Cruz. Quiet, green neighborhood with easy access to local beach and short drive to Nisene Marks State Park. The owner was very thoughtful and easy to reach. We would definitely stay here again.

Amazing location, walk to beach, short drive to awesome forest hike. Owners are very responsive. The unit is as described. It is a studio, but had everything we needed. We really enjoyed our stay.

Comfy Coastal Cottage
Such a cute property! We really enjoyed the set up and location. We were able to enjoy Pinnacles National Park, Big Sur and watched the sunset at Monterey Bay. We scratched several bucket list items off our lists! Thank you for the excellent stay!

The perfect place for two! Located in a quiet and beautiful neighborhood minutes from the beach, the cottage was clean, comfortable and beautifully furnished. Loved this sweet, clean, quiet space, just steps from the beautiful Rio del Mar Beach! Perfect for a solo traveler or couple. So much to explore close by, and easy access to Santa Cruz via CA-1. Would definitely stay here again!

Such a gem tucked away and a very quick drive or walk to beach! Appreciated being able to cook if we wished but near shops, stores, restaurants. Loved staying here!

I thoroughly enjoyed my relaxing stay at this beach cottage! Their lovely neighborhood has a TON of activities within walking distance. If you’re feeling a little more adventurous, the nearby state park and surrounding towns are a must-see. Highly recommended!

Perfect getaway
The host was so attentive and easy to communicate with, and the property is gorgeous! We were able to take short drives to both Santa Cruz and Monterey thanks to quick freeway access. The neighborhood is very safe and we felt comfortable throughout our stay. Would recommend!

Would definitely stay in this gem again. Had privacy, nice Neighborhood close to the beach and restaurants nearby. Unit was clean with available parking would definitely recommend staying here
