Overall, the house is great and the location of the house is great too. We have a big group of adults and there’s not enough chairs and big enough table for everyone to sit and eat together, that’s the only thing we were little bummed about the house

The property is gorgeous. There was enough room for all of us. The owner Joe was very nice and attentive if we need anything. The waterfront view was gorgeous and the deck had enough space to fit 12 of us. Definitely recommend, was worth it!

So let me just start by saying that these property owners really need to take the time out and make sure who they have maintaining their Properties are doing their jobs. When I got to the house I was told that door would be open, it wasn’t. I contacted Joe(Host) and after 30 mins of back and forth calling. I was given the code to a lock box with key. The house overall was not in bad shape pretty much looks like pictures online The linens for the beds were piled up; not folded on one of the beds. One of the rooms that is listed having a single bed and bunk beds the single bed was just a mattress on the floor. You can tell someone was staying there cause we found someone’s clothing and unmade bed as if someone just was there and ran out when we got there. Bathrooms had cigarette buds in one toilet and was dirty had to go out and buy cleaning supplies dirty dishes was found in one of bedrooms and kitchen sink and someone’s toiletries were still in the shower. Also we had absolutely no television at all the entire 3 days. I was told cable was out due to storm but there was no receivers at all in the house. I kept in contact with Joe during and after the stay in which he was somewhat prompt with responding and was very nice. I was told I would be getting some sort of compensation but by the time of this post several days has passed with absolutely no response.

Recently stayed at the property during Thanksgiving and it was great. Very clean interior, great bay views. The place is on a nice and quiet street that is well lit, but also very short ride to get to the casinos. And Joe, the property owner, could not have been more accommodating and helpful. Definitely recommend.

First and foremost, this is my first very negative review-The positives-communication with owner was good and the location is at the southern end of AC about 1.5 miles to casinos and shopping-convenient for our family attending a music festival, accessible by car or UBER, short walk south to boardwalk and beach. The deck was nice. All bathrooms renovated. Negatives-the house is in disrepair. The nightly fee was WAY expensive for the experience. The owner is trying to do his own renovations to the property, which we can appreciate, but it looks unfinished-molding propped up, backsplash falling off in kitchen, large boxes of supplies (a vanity) sat in the main living room. The house was not clean-and the dishwasher was FULL of dirty moldy dishes that mostly were thrown away by the owner who came over after I sent a snapshot. This lead me to believe the house had not been cleaned in sometime-to the owners credit, he admitted he had no idea how long they were there. Fruit flies all over the house-he offered to have exterminator come, but we said no, we had already accommodated a realtor to look at the house while we were there. Personal affects were in master shower, but No toiletries supplied, no book with check in or check out instructions and definitely no extras. Only a Keurig coffee maker, btw. And if you think you may want to cook-the kitchen is too poorly stocked. The garbage outside was beyond full that we couldn’t even put our trash in one of the several bins when we left. We’ve staying in a lot of places through VRBO and unfortunately this one was a major miss. For my husband to say something negative about a property and it’s value-that’s not good. The property could be super cute-it just needs a lot more TLC, property management and a better cleaning crew.

My friends and I had the pleasure of staying at this home for event we were attending in AC. I highly recommend booking this house for your next getaway. The home was clean and had more then enough space. The outside patio was amazing and Joe is a great host. Even brought us an amazing sandwich at checkout!

Our family enjoyed the stay. Large deck with plenty of room for whole family to gather outside and relax. Great view for family pictures from the deck facing waterfront. Convenient parking on premise. Easy drive around for dining and shopping. Property manager was very friendly, offered local guidance & accommodating. We plan again to visit this property near soon.
