My husband & I had a relaxing, quiet, comfortable stay in a Christmas decorated bungalow. My sister lives nearby and this house was perfect for being close to the family celebration. Anything we needed was there available for our use.

My family and i had a great time staying here! The house was decorated for Christmas and was very cute. The owner was super responsive to all of our (many) questions. It was 4 minutes from the entrance to the national park. Pigeon Forge/Gatlinburg were a short drive through thr mountains away. It was close to everything without being crazy busy. I highly recommend.

This little house still holds its old charm after being updated with modern conveniences and beautiful, stylish decor. I wish they could give me some tips on how to make my own house this cute! It’s very accessible to everything in the community and so easy to get to. Missy is an excellent hostess who is personally committed to making sure her renters are comfortable and happy! The ONLY downfall we experienced is not even something we would expect a VRBO host to consider…just a caution to others with little escape artist children. Our toddler was able to quietly and easily escape out the sliding back door every time we turned around. He could also escape the front door, but he loved the other one. Being on a busy street, I was pretty stressed playing defense the whole time! Otherwise we had a PERFECT stay! Will return for sure (when the little is older or with some baby proofing hacks)!

I wanted to stay in a house as opposed to a hotel. The host had a very well-equipped kitchen. Although we never opened the wine it was a nice gesture. It was a chance to get away from the Florida weather. I would stay there again if I was to get back to Tennessee.

My sister and I wanted a place to relax and regroup after a death in our family, and we both needed good wifi to work a little. Missy was the absolute best hostess, and her home was perfect in every way. The decor was phenomenal, and she thought of EVERYTHING we could possibly need. We’ll be back Missy. Thank you!!

We had a wonderful week here on the peaceful side of the smokies. The home was perfect for our needs. The bed was very comfortable, the kitchen well-appointed, and everything was as described. As another reviewer mentioned, this house is right on the main road, but it sits back nicely, so it feels secluded. We brought our bikes and enjoyed the bike trail.
Our dogs also felt welcomed with dogs bowls out in case we had forgotten ours.
We would be thrilled to stay here again.
At time of checkout, I mentioned to Missy that I had misplaced my wallet. Missy's husband went through the trash that they had already picked up and found it! I can't thank them enough.

We loved the Biketrail Bungalow! It's close to everything, but seems secluded. Missy, our host, was awesome... very helpful, accommodating, and friendly. We would stay here again in a heartbeat. Thank you for sharing your lovely home with us.

Our stay was wonderful .The owner supplies so many helpful items for your stay so it lightens the load on what you need to pack for your trip. Check in and check out was a breeze and Missy was so responsive our entire stay. I havent slept so good in a long while. This home sits close to the road but you will be shocked how quiet it is! We have been visiting Towsend for the past 10 years and have stayed at great places, this was hands down our favorite! Thank you for everything you did for us 😊 You wont regret choosing this historic home.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the bungalow. It was very quaint and cozy. Missy has done a superb job of supplying every need for the stay and more so. She really is a premiere host, both in accommodations and communication. This has been our favorite place so far to stay during the several times we have been to the Smokies.

This is a very cozy home. Very Clean and updated without losing the charm of what is was over 100 years ago. The host is very detailed on appointing the kitchen and bathrooms of her properties. If you are cooking or grilling at home you will not have to go out looking for cookware or utensils. The outdoor was also set up to do just that to enjoy the outdoor property. Truely a gem of vacation rental's.

We loved staying at the bike trail bungalow! The home is so adorable and comfortable. Missy provided so many nice touches such as a delicious bottle of wine, but also coffee, cream, a dozen eggs, a stick of butter, and so much more.

Missy provided all the comforts of home at Biketrail Bungalow. Including a comfy sofa and throws. A great location to enjoy the Great Smoky Mountains.

My family and I enjoyed this cottage so much! It is so cozy with every detail thought out by the owner. We loved the fresh eggs, pancake mix/syrup, sodas, coffee and the beverage stations with a delicious local wine waiting for us! It was very clean with all the necessities provided including paper products, shampoo/conditioner, hair dryer, iron, and even laundry detergent! The location on the bike/walking trail was perfect - my husband ran or biked every day. The porch was perfect for sitting in the morning to sip coffee or to watch the occasional afternoon summer rain shower. We were centrally located to go to Pigeon Forge, Gatlinburg and Cades Cove in the national park. And Townsend itself is great to explore - we found a nice local swimming hole just up from the Dancing Bean coffee shop. There is so much to do - we will definitely be back. We plan to stay here when we do - it's like coming back to stay at grandma's house with everything ready for us!

Wonderful home on the bike trail!
Very charming! This home was a wonderful place for a short anniversary vacation. We enjoyed sitting on the porch in the mornings enjoying the view. It is right on the bike trail, close to everything in Townsend and close to the national park. Comfy beds, and a well equipped kitchen and home helped make our visit very pleasant. The host was very nice. We would stay here again!
