About this house rental
Our cabins are nestled in the heart of the Ozark Mountains on Scenic Highway 7 near the quaint town of Jasper. We join the Ozark National Forest and the Buffalo River is less than 3 miles away. If you hike, canoe, bird watch or prefer to spend a lazy day in the porch swing then we've got the perfect place for you. Our cabins are located 10 minutes from the Erbie Campground/River Access and roughly 20 minutes from Ponca's River Outfitters. Please bear with us as we are slowly but surely making changes and upgrades to this cabin! The Bear Hollow Cabin is a 2 story cabin with guest access to the top floor as the bottom floor is used for storage. The cabin is located on a 5 acre property that sits a second cabin, a store front and an apartment above the store. Guests have privacy and access to their own cabin. Please don't hesitate to reach out to us with any questions regarding the area, we are happy to help with your trip! The main bedroom in this cabin has a queen-sized bed and attached bathroom. The living room has a pull-out couch.

Communication with the owner was very easy and responsive. The cabin was definitely clean and has a spacious living area and a nice deck in the back to enjoy.

We had planned to camp at Ozark campground. This was the perfect location to Stay as it was only a mile away from the campground and close to Jasper.

My boyfriend and I really enjoyed our stay here! It was the perfect size for the 2 of us and had everything we needed. The host was very helpful and responsive to our questions and gave good tips about activities in the area. Great location central to many activities in the area.

We had a wonderful time! It was very relaxing. Cabin was perfect for us. Loved sitting on the back porch swinging and drinking our coffee. We would love to do it again.

We enjoyed our 3 night stay tucked away in the cabin. We had everything we needed to cook some meals in. It was out of town, but not far. Just a few minutes , and you can be at the grocery store, which impressed me with their selection. Also to the Ozark Cafe ,which is now going to be a must do every time we visit. It was an easy, fun ride over to Boxley Valley to hike, and view elk, and also to ride up to Branson for the day.
There is another cabin fairly close, but that was not an issue at all. Once you are in the cabin, you're in your own little world. The porch and swing are tucked into the back and it's totally private.
The bed and sheets were comfy, the shower was hot and had good pressure. The wifi worked good. The swing was a nice spot to have morning coffee before we headed out to explore for the day.
We wouldn't hesitate to stay again.

This cabin was very nice. Not fancy it very much had a cabin feel. Just what my wife and I wanted for our anniversary get away.

This was overall a great cabin in a great location. It was easy to find, being right off the highway, but it was still very quiet. The only exception to the peace and quiet was the acorns falling on our roof! We got a good laugh out of that. I have to admit the HVAC was a little on the noisy side, but par for the course since it is a window unit and not really a complaint. Only complaints I had was the ignitor didn't work on the grill (glad I checked before buying steaks!) and the exhaust fan and heater were not working in the bathroom. None of the negatives took anything away from our experience. On the plus side, the cabin was well equipped, nicely decorated, and the bed and seating was all comfortable. I would be more than happy to stay here again.
