Size of the room, Beautiful bathroom, nice ambiance and lighting. Staff were phenominal.

Neighbourhood and no toilet seats.

This property was brand new and the bedroom, bed linens, towels and bathroom were spotless. Enzo the owner said we were one of his first guests, he was very helpful and friendly and he welcomed us in on a very hot day with an iced tea. A coffee maker was provided in the room which had a double and single bed which could be pulled out to make it two single beds (if used this would have made the room very cramped). Each evening when we returned our beds had been made and any clothes left around folded. Fresh towels were supplied each day. One the 2nd morning Enzo arrived with a kettle of boiling water for me to make tea with proper cups - this was a much better option as it had a personal touch. This B&B is a 5 minute walk from the Pompei archaeological site and train station which goes to Naples or Sorrento and we had no safely issue walking from the train station to the house in the evening as it was well lit up.

We had an issue finding the property on Google Maps as it brought us to a place on the other side of the bridge. We tried to phone the owner but got no answer on the phone number supplied. Thankfully with the help of a local man who directed us over the bridge we eventually found the property which was not along the road but accessed down a road almost under the road bridge. We had a rental car and whilst a parking space was provided the owner advised that it would not be safe for us to park the new rental car there. He contacted a local car park and arranged a reduced fee of €15 per night for us to park there. We did so and the very friendly lady provided parking for our car for a 24 hour fee of €35 (€20 +overnight €15) which did increase the cost of the accommodation for us (maybe Enzo could negotiate a better rate for future guests). Breakfast was supplied plastic cups plates food all premade in packets with milk left the evening before we felt this was impersonal. The shutter on the bedroom window was open the evening we arrived after we went out and returned later the shutter was closed by the owner and we realised the next morning that to open it would require a key. This was a little disturbing as we felt it was a fire hazard - we forgot to mention this to the owner or ask for a key. Note the last train from Naples is 9.15pm approx. - quite early if you want to get dinner in the city. When we got back to the property in the evening we had nowhere to sit out which would have been nice (other than the bed) .
