Kuranda Village is an easy 35 minute walk from the house or five minutes drive. Kuranda is known as 'the village in the rainforest' and is very picturesque. It has interesting and unique markets, restaurants, cafes, galleries and is a great place to loose yourself exploring. As we are situated 30 minutes from the airport, we would recommend that you have your own car. If not, there is a local bus that goes past our house which will take you to Cairns, Kuranda and the Atherton tablelands. The village of Kuranda is only a 3 minute drive away or a nice 35 minute walk. On request we can offer pickups and drop offs. Certainly to see the incredible sites that this whole area has to offer, a car is the best way to go.
