Enjoyed though the weather was very cold. Cozy and warm upstairs. Kitchen utensils needs a few upgrades.Notification of very steep stairs would also be beneficial. Overall we really enjoyed the location and space.Thank you!

Nice, clean, roomy house close to town and Lake Placid.

There was 6 of us that stayed (5 adults, one child) in this cute house. It's an old house, but beautifully decorated and super convenient to the area. The house is in a very quiet blue collar neighborhood, not far from downtown Saranac Lake village and really close to grocery, pharmacy, package store, etc. We stayed in the Winter time, and the streets were plowed and ready for our daily trips back and forth from Lake Placid (we were responsible for shoveling the driveway & steps, so make sure you're able to do that if necessary). Our bed was super comfortable, and the house was warm and cozy. Pizza one night from Nonna Fina was excellent, and the Blue Line Brew Pub just outside of town had pretty good food, too, but the house has a full kitchen if you want to cook in. Two bathrooms were handy for our good sized group. All in all, a comfortable, attractive home base for your year round area activities.

Overall good experience. Boarded and skied with a family of 4 about a half hour from Whiteface. Comfortable beds and plenty of linens.

This was the perfect location for us. We really enjoyed our stay. Very quiet street and my kids could walk to a playground.
