I would have given 5 stars, except: At time of reservation, which was many weeks in advance, I specifically requested not to be placed on the first floor. I got a “noted” response from Embassy Suites. When I went to check in, guess where our room was going to be? You guessed it, first floor! It was changed, but the person doing it acted like it was a Herculean task. Maybe if my original request had been processed? That being said, props to housekeeping. Our room was clean as a whistle. Much appreciated and yes, we always leave a tip for a job well done.

OUR ROOM HAD A VERY BAD SMELL, THE SHOWER WAS CLOGGED, WE HAD TO LEAVE A DAY BEFORE BECAUSE WE COULD'T STAY ANY LONGER

We only spent one night at this location but it was a great location in Scottsdale with very friendly staff. The room and grounds were clean and well taken care of.

After a long day of driving, the room was an oasis of calm. The beds were comfortable...even better than home. The hotel complex was quiet, even though sold out. The breakfast was great. The staff was very helpful. It was worth spending a little more.

Black mold! As soon as we walked into the room, there was an overwhelming musty smell of mildew to the point where it was hard to breathe. Upon further inspection, we literally saw black mold on the air vent. We left the room immediately and requested a refund. There was no apology or admittance to the horrific mold problem here at this hotel that needs to be condemned and these people need to be accountable for trying to even stay in business and rent these rooms for astonishing prices. I told hotels.com to take this hotel off their listings immediately and to have some sort of inspection done through the health department or whoever is in charge of these inspections. We were left stranded with nowhere tostay and this hotel did nothing except continue to check people in line behind me to their future horror! Stay away at all costs!

i did not book an ADA room, but was placed in one. i am assuming because we checked in later than expected closer to 8-9pm. it was late, we were tired and stayed in the room and did not contact the office but i found it very uncomfortable in the morning when using the restroom and shower facilities.

Toilet not flushing after two attempts to fix.Third time was successful.large nose(sounded like sanding) at 10pm finally stopped at 10:30
Poor water pressure at sink and little hot water.
One elevator out of order during two day stay.

Surprisingly awesome! I enjoy elevated accommodations and felt this stay was shockingly amazing. The staff so friendly and efficient. The room was spacious and the bed comfortable. Every aspect (even the breakfast offering) was well appointed. Highly recommended for the area.

Haven’t stayed at Embassy suites in a while. This place was great size, pool area, happy hour free, pretty lobby, free breakfast w omelettes. Free shuttle drive. Nice staff. Helpful

Very clean room. Beds and pillows very comfortable. Very roomy. It was in need of update however. Walls needed painting. Decor was not at all up to par. Not Embassy Suites that I am used to. The lobby was nothing more than a Best Western. The breakfast however, was fabulous. Everything you would want .. from made to order eggs, to sweet choices. Can't say the employees were friendly.... just doing their job. Some of these things are migh seem trivial... .but i suppose i just expect more from a RESORT.

The breakfast was awesome and the pools were great. We used the bikes to zip down to Old Scottsdale and walked around. Close to a lot of shopping, restaurants and hikes. It was handy to be close to a main road that could easily take you to where you needed to be without a lot of hassle. Would definitely stay again!

The rooms were comfortable and spacious. The pool was warm and it was a great breakfast and we enjoyed happy hour. The area is convenient close to old town Scottsdale. I would definitely stay here again and it is a good value hotel for families to stay together.

I love staying here. In addition to the suites and the comfort and warmth of this locale, the complimentary breakfast is awesome. Also, being across the street from the world-class mall, made for a delightful stay there.

We booked this property by mistake. We were trying to stay at an Embassy Suites closer to Paradise Valley/Tatum. This Embassy is a very dated property. The room tries to be modern and appears recently updated but the wood shutters show its age. The rooms are quiet even with New Years revelers just below us in the pool past midnight. I thought we booked 2 queen beds but these were closer to fulls. The towels are worn a bit thin and one of ours was stained with maybe makeup. The main issue was the room was freezing. We turned the heat up so the room was warmer when we returned from dinner. However, upon our return the room was still cold at 68°. We called for maintenance, which was prompt, to have our unit reset. It still took a couple hours to warm the room to a reasonable temperature. Another issue was the hot water appeared regulated to warm temp and no hot hot water was ever attained. All in all not our favorite Embassy Suites we’ve stayed at. The breaker buffet and omelette bar were a nice capstone to our bummer of a night.

It was my first time visiting Arizona and this hotel was well packaged with the package I chose. They have an excellent daily breakfast and happy hour from 5-630pm. I would recommend this hotel to anyone who is looking to stay for more than 2 days. My kids loved the pool area and they enjoyed everything the hotel offered as well. I would definitely come back to this hotel and stay when I come back to Phoenix, AZ..

Great location! The rooms were spacious and beds were comfortable. My family also enjoyed happy hour and the large breakfast buffet- both complimentary. We had to call maintenance regarding the heat not working in our rooms, but they were there within a few minutes and fixed the issue. We will definitely stay here again.

My colleague and I stayed in the same hotel, we like the bar and the breakfast. Overall experience was great, the only down side was because the room 26x are located between the roadside and the fountain, also can hear people flushing the toilet at night. Surrounded by the noises and barely sleep during the stay. I know it’s hard to improve this part cause the facility might be too old to improve. Otherwise I really liked the place.

My family and I have always loved this place. A few things were not as good as before. The free breakfast didn't have as much as it used too. The restaurant had few food options and over priced drinks. Terrible wine for the happy hour reception.
The room was nice and clean, but half the lamps didn't work. Most of the phone chargers didnt work.
I was dissapointed after having such lovely 5 star stays in the past.

Hotel and rooms are very clean. WiFi internet works great. Complimentary breakfast is amazing, basically a buffet. Hotel is close to downtown so there’s plenty to do.

This property is central to many things Scottsdale has to offer: restaurants , shopping, train park for kids.
Upon check-in, we were given a room with an odor and the vents had mold all over them. There were clothing items left in the drawers from previous guests. I immediately went to the front desk and they switched our room, without a question. Our second room was much better, however, the sliding door to the balcony did not shut properly and would not lock. I let the front desk know this as well.
The breakfast was great! Lots of options and a chef to make omelets as you wait.

The staff is very friendly; however, they could not solve the heating problem, we were freezing in the room. they tried to solve the problem, did not work, made worse noises.
the beds are too soft for my preferences and the quality of the breakfast is low.
