This room is exactly what a mid price hotel room should be. Safe... clean and comfortable. I would have given it a 5 star rating BUT I called down early in the morning to get more towels and tp ... never received them. Plus there's a $500 added for incidentals until your stay is over. That seems excessive for no reason.

I once lived in a Residence Inn for 3-4 months. I was surprised to learn upon check-in that there was a $23 per day parking fee. Also, I had to explicitly ask for our room to be cleaned each day otherwise the policy is every 3 days.
The room had a smell to it. The carpets need a steam cleaning. The sofa was pretty beaten up with cracked fake leather in places.
The woman who cleans and attends to people during breakfast always had a big smile, was very friendly and is an asset to this property. She is a gem.

I like the location, it's close to the airport, quite, and has a Target very close. Why i didn't like was that the property its kind of old, and you would hear everything from other guests.

Had a great visit to CA and the hotel was very centrally located to our visits. Very nice facility, helpful staff and clean and well appointed rooms.

I was staying alone, and felt very comfortable and safe. I liked the design of the buildings - sort of like townhouses. Lovely landscaping, modern and pleasing interior design. Really nice breakfast buffet and dining room. I subsequently had to stay at another extended stay hotel under a different brand, and it was nowhere near as nice.

air conditioner fan did not go off so couldn't sleep. Furniture was older and sofa was very uncomfortable. they ask for a ridiculous 1000.00 deposit - (only stayed one night ) NEVER AGAIN

It was a nice apartment style hotel but that extra $500 deposit was the most I have paid anywhere and I travel quite a bit. For that sort of price point, I could have stayed at a 5 star.

The staff is very friendly and helpful. The location of the hotel is very convenient, close to shopping malls and the ocean. The gym is very well equipped and clean. We only missed the fire place in the room, and happy-hour day that otherwise other residence inn facilities offer.

The free breakfast at this hotel was great. They have the standard fare of eggs, sausage/bacon, waffles, cereal, but they had a unique hot item each day- a cheese soufflé, a frittata, etc… The oatmeal station had every topping you could ever want, think there were about 10. What really stood out was the staff running the breakfast. Every morning someone came to your table to ask how everything was. They were friendly, engaging in conversation as they restocked items. They took great pride in their work which really stood out to me.
Location was good, short drive to the pier. The room had the space we needed, but is in need of an update.

The women working at the breakfast area were exceptional, specially Aileen, I have never seen such a sweet lady in my life.

We had a wonderful stay. The only problem was the upstairs neighbors. They stomped on the floor all night and we got no sleep our last night. Its a bad idea to get a downstairs room.

This hotel was fine for what we needed, my two issues I had was the following.
They charged me per day parking fees… I found that ridiculous.
My other issue is. Someone was smoking near one of the rooms and the smell was pouring into my room.

For the most part very satisfactory. Located near a Target for getting supplies. For the most part clean. So much of the outdoor portion is asphalt so unless every guest removes their shoes before entering, a black residue gets tracked in. As a result, the floors are dirty. We had our dogs with us so periodically we had to wipe up an accident with the peeped pads and the paper wiped up the dirt. The floors need more than a damp mop between guests.

We had to wait 10 minutes (at a very tired 2AM) to check in because they were "closing out the register". I asked why he didn't just ready our card before that. Answer: "Some people just don't show". Me: "But it's non-refundable - feel free to give us a free upgrade for the inconvenience (since you won't use it anyway, it's 2AM)". Him: --- no response ---
So I had to wait because he didn't want to expend the effort "unnecessarily", even though they got payment in full.
Also; the ceiling AC vent is positioned DIRECTLY over the foot of the bed bed, blowing on us all night. I had to rig up a hand towel on the ceiling vent to divert it.
Other than that, it's a really nice place. Very high end considering the rate and location!

the hotel and installations very good; however, the cleaning service was so bad, I stay 7 days and until day 6 they went to change bed sheets, towels and room cleaning. two days before I requested housekeeping, trash removal and toilet paper provision since morning and they did not provide until late afternoon after I called upset.

We had a stopover before flying back to Australia. The place was perfect, staff extremely friendly and helpful. The room was huge and beautifully designed with a kitchenette.
The position was close to shops and a short walk to the Manhattan pier. Would recommend and definitely stay here again

The location isn't bad. The beds were itchy and the comforters feel cheap. Also, did not clean room or make bed daily.

The staff was very friendly and the studio room was very nice. The only issue we had was the room wasn't well insulated from noise. Residents on the top floor kept us awake from 11pm-2:30am...not a restful stay. Hence, the three stars.

The place is good. Very convenient, close to airport and the beach, clean, quiet and respectable. The only thing I didn’t like is the lie and manipulation from the staff member who was checking me in the hotel.
I specifically made a request to be NOT on the first/ground floor when I made my reservation. When I got there the person who checked me in started persuading me that I requested to be not on the second floor. Which was a lie. I have a screenshot from my reservation page, so I knew he was lying. If he would have said that they have no place on the upper floor to grant my request I would understand, but looking straight in the eyes and tell the outright lie, that was ugly. I didn’t argue with the person and took the room downstairs. But his arrogant lie made a very negative impression on me and undermined the trust to the hotel personnel.
Other than that everything was good. Very welcoming breakfast ladies, clean and tidy grounds, cozy little pool and nice and comfortable room.
