Although we had booked a Deluxe room for two adults and two children (ages 7 and 9), no breakfast vouchers were provided for the children. We had to pay and an extra 12,000 yen per child per day for breakfast.

The location of the hotel was perfect, with 3 minutes walking distance from train station. The front desk staff was helpful and friendly as well as the staff at the breakfast venue. The hotel was extremely outdated and some condition was appalling. It was hard to imagine the room has no USB outlet. The restaurent seemed seriously short of staff. The breakfast venue was similar to a canteen instead of a 4/5 star hotel.

The best thing of this hotel is the location. It locates besides the Kanazawa station which offer very good and convenient transportation to visitors. But the facilities are relatively old. No USB was available which is one of the standard setting in hotel rooms for charging mobile device. Washroom facilities are also old.

Had to use three different rooms because of cigarette smoke ingress. I eventually sealed the bathroom vent up and that solved our problem. Kept telling staff where the smoke was coming from. They really didn’t want to hear about it.. asked if anyone else complained about the smoke he said no. Reading different reviews on the hotel there were smoke related issues. Breakfast was very good and staff Overall we’re good. The hotel seemed a little old. Because of the smoke issue, I would not stay there again. I was on the 16th floor facing front or the street.

Location fantastic but room not so good. Carpet had stains and air conditioning very loud. Also bathroom rather dated. Supposedly I booked a premium room but didn’t feel it was worth the money. Generally disappointed.

The Crowne Plaza is located next to the Kanazawa JR Station. As with othyer JR Stations, it's a hub of activity (transit center, shopping arcade, food options, etc). The property is relatively new and the rooms reflect that. The staff are helpful and my stay was enjoyable. I will return to Kanazawa and would stay at the Crowne Plaza.

The staff are very friendly and helpful. The room the we stayed are big enough for 4 family. I wish they have an onsen but overall its an excellent hotel with amazing food.

The hotel is right outside of the Kanazawa Station. Perfect location. It is a fancier hotel so if you are willing to pay a little more per night, this would be the hotel to stay at. Breakfast buffet is really good which also included an omelette station.

The hotel is convenient. It is just right next to the station. It is an ideal place to stay if you want to explore the city and other attractions nearby. The central bus station is in front of the hotel. One star is short because it is relatively overpriced. Other than that, it is good enough!

The hotel has a certain standard of cleanliness and service but everything seemed average for an international brand. We been persuaded to upgrade to a room at a small cost thinking we could get some extra space and a better room. Unfortunately the room layout is very ill considered. It was a twin room, and one of the beds is literally across the doorway of the bathroom. It’s not even have enough space to pass the bed to access the bathroom with a clear width! I am a hotel designer myself and how can this ever be allowed to happen in an international hotel?

Excellent location near the train station and the marathon registration venue. Good service. Particular thanks to the cloak staff for their effort in arranging and explaining the baggage delivery service.

Really good service by the reception team, very friendly. Rooms are very clean but in need of an update (old bathroom suite, plug socket loose near the bed). Hotel bar upstairs charges a cover charge which is a bit odd. We tried to go to the tepanyaki restaurant but were told it was full for the following day... though we found out it was taking reservations when we walked passed the guide the followi.g day. However, well situated for the station which is a big bonus and as mentioned before the reception staff were very hospitable. Also note price doesnt include a Kanazawa city tax (200 yen per person per night)
