Perfect when you need a close hotel to the Hollywood Bowl. And you get to walk to a lot of places from there, Amorba Store, Chinese Theater, Hollywood Walk Of Fame, Funk Store Hollywood…

We stayed here because it was an easy walk to Hollywood and a quick drive to Universal Studios. Both of those things were true and perfect for our needs. However, the hotel needs work. We had no hot water at all in the room, none. And the rooms are pretty small. That said, all of the staff we interacted with were fabulous, and the room was quite clean. Fix the hot water please!

I stayed at the “It’s Not So Great” hotel recently and unfortunately, it didn’t live up to its name. The rooms were smelly and outdated, which was quite disappointing. While the location was decent, it’s not ideal for families due to the room conditions. Overall, I wouldn’t recommend it for a comfortable stay, especially for families.

It didn't have a family feeling to it. there were a lot of males around that looked like they lived there on a usual basis. I had two small boys and was scared they would get hurt on the property. so i did like that the hallways and stairs ways were all visible so I could see my boys even if they were coming from the room to the car. There was a guy taking a picture of a blow up doll in the pool when i first got up and luckily my kids were still asleep. If this is used for refugees that should be clearly stated so we know what kind of situation we are getting into at this propoerty.

This is a great location and hotel if you are just looking for a place to crash and coming to the area to mainly sight see. The room was clean the little restaurant downstairs was great for a quick breakfast to start the day.

The room was overpriced for the condition of the room and property. The wallpaper was peeling and bubbling off the walls. There was mold in the tile of the bathroom and around tub. Construction was happening at the property so much of the limited parking was taken by equipment. The mattress and bedding was cheaply made and very uncomfortable. The staff was accommodating for an early check in and it was conveniently located. Will definitely stay elsewhere on our next visit.

We couldn’t take a hot shower. Cold water for both nights. Called front desk to let him know the waters cold but he said there’s nothing he can do. If it was just my wife and I then so be it but it’s hard for a 5 year old kid.

I initially booked this, thinking it was the same hotel I stayed at previously. Sadly, it was not.
That's not to say this trip wasn't enjoyable. It was fine.
I just would have preferred the door to my room be inside a building, and not facing the parking lot. Simply means that I need to look at the photos better, then I would have realized this was a more of a motel.

The staff was extremely courteous and helpful. They helped me find good places to eat, and provided extra towels when asked.
The room itself wasn't anything special, nor did I expect it to be for the price. Though I will caution, make sure the outlets work when you turn off the lights. My first night, I plugged my phone charger into the wall and turned off the light switch, not realizing it also powered that particular outlet. So be careful. I was lucky that I didn't have an early morning appointment.

They were going through some renovations, the parking was confusing but the new exterior paint and the parking improvements should help. This is an older facility, well maintained and clean. Our room was adequate and reasonably priced.

I stayed in this hotel because of the 2024 X3 Expo at the Hollywood Palladium, which was minutes away from this hotel. The front desk staff greeted me with a smile, were extremely kind, and they thoroughly answered all my questions and explained policies and procedures. The room I stayed in was great - spacious with a comfy bed, lots of towels and toiletries, a work station, good lighting, a fridge and a Keurig coffee maker. For the price, my stay here was an amazing value. By the way, the hotel is currently undergoing renovations - noise and fresh coats of paint are to be expected in the morning and afternoon hours. Thank you to the staff for making my time in Hollywood for the X3 Expo an unforgettable time that I'll always cherish.

We enjoyed our stay and how close everything we needed was. Staff was always so kind. The only thing that could be improved are the beds and pillows. They were our only complaint.

Good location, datel hotel overall, rooms are small, need to slide between bed a the double bed we got. Bathroom was good, nice hot shower, there were mosquitoes in the room, nothing we could not deal with.

Great place to stay when attending an event at the Hollywood Bowl. Lovely staff and the property has an old Hollywood vibe. Will definitely be back.

I stayed in this property for 3 nights with my adult children. The property was in a reasonable location - I wanted something close to Universal Studios and to Hollywood. I felt the location was safe.
The room was average size, though had a small bathroom.
I found there was a lot of road noise and we had quite a noisy air-conditioning unit which didn't help for peaceful nights sleep.
There was a microwave in the room, which I found very helpful, and a vending machine for snacks and drinks.
The hotel staff were pleasant, but I wouldn't say overly helpful.
My only real frustration with my stay, is that it was a month ago, and I am still waiting for the holding deposit authorisation to drop of my credit card.

Not wildly dirty, but at least two dark ink-like stains in the bedding. The rooms were otherwise very modern with many USB charging ports, and exposed wall outlets for plugging stuff in, all very accessible.

The hotel is centrally located, but rather noisy as it is on a very busy street - busy all night. The staff was friendly and helpful. And there is a really nice little restaurant just off the lobby - good Hispanic food!
