Check in was great! They changed our room to give us a better view and also a jacuzzi tub.Problem came about 5:30 in the morning. It woke us up. The toilet began bubbling and the water was draining out. Sink also bubbling and spitting out black gunk. We called and maintenance came to our room. He said the city was doing something. Issue on the beach as well. He came back a little later with keys to the next room so we could use the bathroom.

I’ve stayed at this property twice within the last 2 years. We generally go in late fall so it is off season. My only gripe about the area is there’s a lot of seasonal places that close for the off season so it narrowed what we could do around town considerably. The resort staff was amazing. And the pool and whirlpool was open 24hrs which was a huge plus. There was a full breakfast which consisted of sausage, biscuits and gravy, waffles, cold cereal, oatmeal, yogurt, and fruit. We will continue to stay with this resort in the future!

Went here to explore parts of St. Ignace for a mini getaway to celebrate our 1 year anniversary. Definitely recommend coming here during the season, we came at the tail end of the season when just about every business was closing up shop. We absolutely loved our stay and our room was super cozy! We had a 1 room with 2 queen beds and a fireplace balcony that overlooked the beach. We checked out the Club and the pool / jacuzzi - both are relaxing. The Club had the perfect atmosphere for unwinding. Absolutely loved how informative the concierge was and the staff at check-in were super friendly too!

Comfortable, clean room at a good price for a patio lake front room. Staff were friendly and attentive. Complimentary breakfast buffet was good and had several food options. I would stay here again!

We stayed at Breakers and I reserved a patio room facing the lake. Well I wish it was warmer, what a beautiful view! There was a beach only 20' from our room and overlooking Mackinac island! The room was bright and colorful. The breakfast was in the restaurant facing the lake and it was way better than expected. We will definitely stay here again!

I had terrible experience of 2 nights. They allowed Room 118. You hear all kind of noise whole night. Ice machine. People in pools. Walking and talking staff all the time infront of your door. You can’t sleep for minute.

4.5/5 We enjoyed our stay here! The rooms and view are amazing. We loved our in room hot tub. Staff was extremely helpful and friendly. I took a half star off for the breakfast that’s included with your stay. The food items weren’t label and the omelette contained ham… I’m vegetarian and took two bites before I realized. Their scrambled eggs seemed to be dehydrated rehydrated eggs so the texture was a bit off. I loved the waffle maker, oatmeal, and hard boiled eggs that where available. For those looking for a better breakfast you can’t go wrong with Java Joes located in front of this resort. (They are also super vegetarian/vegan friendly there). We would stay here again when we visit next year.

This was a lovely hotel that is right on the water. The view was amazing from our 4th floor room. Just a side note, the restaurant that is onsite is a little overpriced in my opinion.

We enjoyed our stay at Breakers. Nice room, great bed. We had a balcony overlooking the water. Very nice. The restaurant for breakfast was perfect. We would certainly stay at this hotel again.

Loved the fireplace and balcony in the room! Clean & comfortable. Breakfast was great, too. Restaurant on premises is convenient and the outdoor areas seemed nice but it was a bit too cold out when we stayed to take advantage. Pool & hot tub looked good as well and open all day & night. I would stay here again.

Enjoyed my weekend stay at this hotel. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The view off the balcony was beautiful. The receptionist was nice and I was thankful she let us know about a casino that was out that way. Would’ve definitely stay here again next time I come back to visit.

Very nice, extremely clean room, great breakfast, right on the water, nice beach and friendly staff. The only problem was the jacuzzi was not working properly(cold water) our first night. The next afternoon it was fixed. Upon checkout I asked for a reduced rate for the first night, for the inconvenience. I was told the manager would contact me, as of now, I haven’t been contacted.

Nice couples getaway. Highly recommend the lakeview room with fireplace! Wonderful view of the lake and relaxing sounds of the waves from private balcony. Nice free breakfast. Only downfall was noise from adjacent rooms and guests above us. Rooms need better soundproofing.

We were very happy with everything about our stay here. The room was spacious, clean and quiet. The balcony view of Lake Huron was lovely, the restaurant and bar very pleasant, and the staff friendly and helpful. We will look forward to staying here again.

The balcony room with fireplace was very nice. Comfortable beds. Nice sized pool and hot tub. Breakfast bar was ok. Would have liked more choices like scrambled eggs in addition to the mini omelets. Restaurant with lake view nice. Free shuttle service to ferries to mackinaw island and the casino nice. Discounted ferry tickets nice

Compared to the other hotels in the area, this was a bargain in every sense of the word. The rooms were spacious, clean, well equipped, and the bed was really comfortable.

Dated and subpar hotel. As was explained to us that housekeeping is their lowest staffed area and it shows. Balcony door didn't lock, no tissues even when requested, ran out of toilet paper and was told we do check out rooms first so maybe by 5pm that day, the light and fan above Jacuzzi tub didn't work.

Our room was much larger than expected and we got 2 queen beds vs. a king bed as requested, but the location of the room with a private balcony and view of the lake more than made up for the queen beds.

our stay was short but very nice. Our only issue was the room above us used their hot tub at o145 and the motor for that was annoying. Food was good at their restaurant, nice grounds. Overall very nice.

Right on Lake Huron, a great view! My family and I loved staying at your hotel! The staff was so kind and the rooms were beautiful! Food was great, we can’t complain!

We took off up north to find some color and booked the Breakers. From the moment we walked in, we were treated like family. Our room was ready and when I walked in I felt like I was home. Immaculate clean room, adorable decor, comfortable beds and pillows. The view was amazing. We booked the junior suite with the oversized balcony. It was a prize. Breakfast was fantastic with a view over the water, staff was more than accomdating. We will be back for sure.

This is not a resort! Its old, chopped up rooms, restaurant was terrible, couple of nice employees but several rude. Stay away!
