Stay was fine. Linens were clean and comfy. But the room is rundown, the shower head sprays everywhere and needs replaced or cleaned better. Lots of limescale in the tub. And the heat/AC unit under the window kept shutting off at night (had to keep jiggling the plug to make it come back on) so we were pretty cold

This was a nice family friendly hotel with a great pool and hot tub. The sauna doesn’t heat up properly. The wifi is intermittent and I found myself using my data frequently d/t the wifi not working well. They have laundry rooms on site and sell detergent packets which was great. This hotel is very close to downtown Midland which was great. I think they should leave an extra blanket in the room as I found it a little cold to sleep. The only thing I found frustrating was using a third party like Expedia to book I was not quoted properly for the additional municipal tax. This was a problem as our room was funded for medical travel so I needed to pay what I had reserved. I think this is largely a problem with Expedia and not the Hotel but the Hotel acknowledged guests have been having difficulties with this so I think hotel management should make it a priority to resolve this issue with Expedia so guests don’t have to deal with problems at check in. It was not easy to resolve and was a hassle with a tired child waiting to check in in (45 min or more on phone with Expedia) . Otherwise no complaints and would stay again if needed.

We enjoyed our stay here for our anniversary. The staff was friendly and helpful, and there's lots of dining options near the hotel. At the end of the day it is a 3 star hotel, the value is great but it is a little old and outdated. Our shower had some nasty adhesive from an old bath mat stuck to the bottom. The hot tub was more of a warm tub, and had a nasty smell. The sauna was the saving grace though. If you're looking for good value and a quick stay I think you'd be happy with Quality INN. If you want a nice hotel with cool amenities you might want to temper your expectations or look elsewhere.

My son and I chose this location based on 3 things: proximity to ski hill, hottub and breakfast. Although the hottub was not as hot as it should have been, a welcome surprise was the very warm pool and the dry sauna. Other surprises were a pool table which my boy thought was great. Overall, it suited our purposes. Thanks

Enjoyed our one night stay at Quality Inn Midland. It was a fun overnight for my Grandaughter and myself. The pool and spa in the evening had had a lot of use that day and did not seem the cleanest but the next morning was much better. The sauna did not seem to get hot enough and we could not figure out the timer. The hot tub was also not very warm and the jets were pretty weak but we enjoyed the pool. The lady who greeted us at reception was very friendly and capable and the breakfast was good. The beds and pillows were very comfortable. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend this facility when in the Midland area.

The staff was very friendly. This was good value stay, with breakfast being full selection of eggs, sausages, waffles, cereal's , fruit etc.. not just your typical breakfast of croissants & muffins. I would stay here again.

Let us check in early and the staff is great. The hot tub was not hot, had dirty water and when the jets were on, smelled like a swamp. The pool had a funky smell too(grandkids said “sweet potato” smell. The washroom in our room had new caulking around the tub but some black mould at the ceiling. Have stayed here before about 5 years ago and it was cleaner. Understand busy place with all of the hockey tournaments but much needed maintenance required. No hot water at the pool shower so no one was using it (most didn’t even bother to check…maybe staff at the pool when busy?)

This is a great hotel. Seems well maintained. Staff are friendly. A full breakfast was very good with good variety. Staff kept it well stocked throughout the breakfast hours. Pool and hot tub were a nice break from a busy week.

Issues with door of room, rooms way too hot and unable to cool it down…. Water pressure in shower not the best. Could tell it was an older facility but it could use some updating/tlc

Very nice hotel. A lot of rooms and parking options. Great pool and hot tub. Bed was a bit soft for my liking, but still slept great! Also, very nice breakfast included, many choices, and all was good!

Liked the location. Accessible to all shopping and groceries. Breakfast buffet bravo with the waffle maker! Great selection 👍 Didn't like the hot tub was not hot and sauna not on. Minimal fitness centre, machines broken treadmill and tri machine. Gym=1 star.

The room was lovely and spacious with enough room to maneuver my power chair into the room and turn around. I could easily use my walker in the room and get it into the bathroom. The bathroom was advertised as having a grab bar near the toilet. The only grab bar was in the bathtub, hardly accessible to the toilet. The continental breakfast was very good with quite a variety of foods from which to choose. What I didn't enjoy was the two steps I had to climb, with great difficulty, to get to the breakfast room. I enjoyed looking over the lounge and pool area while going between my room and the entrance. It was all I could do since I could not enjoy those facilities which were completely inaccessible. I was attracted to this hotel by the on-site restaurant and lounge only to discover that neither are open except on the weekend. Had I know how inaccessible you facility is and that the restaurant was closed, I would have chosen a different hotel for my stay. I will think twice about choosing choie Hotels in the future.

This hotel was far better in reality then the pictures. The room was large, 2 queen size beds, very clean, and so was the pool. At first I was worried for the carpet/room smell from the reviews but not a problem at all. The room smelled nice. In the hallways they used some cleaning products that could have caused a different smell but not at all misty as described in reviews. I would go again!!! Great management.

The property was good, we were grateful for the included breakfast. Common areas such as the pool and dining room would benefit from more regular cleaning (in need of sweeping and mopping), but overall were fine. We enjoyed the pool and hot tub in the evening. Our room window connected to the atrium, so there was a lot of noise from people using the pool, and the pool closing time of 10:00pm was not monitored. Our room was clean and comfortable, and the selections at breakfast were satisfactory (what you would expect for a standard hot breakfast). Overall our stay was good, and we would stay here again.
