Shocking experience. Arrived at 10:20pm and told my prepaid room was not ready and I needed to wait 5 min. Over an hour later was told they had no rooms!!! Terrible service, rude. Lady in line before me was complaining about room service not arriving to ‘catch the cockroaches’

The lobby was beautiful and the staff were friendly and professional. We got a quad bunk room so our adult children didnt have to sleep with each other. The room was very small, with no TV and a small shower. My daughter and I had no issues, however it was a bit tight for my 6'1"son and husband. But the room was clean and we only showered and slept there, so the lack of TV didnt matter to us. We did need to request wash cloths from housekeeping both days as none were left with the towels in the room.
The proximity to Times Square cant be beat....just walk to the end of the block and you're in the middle of it. It's close to so many theatres that most people could walk to a show with ease. We walked from the train with our luggage. It's 13 blocks straight up 8th Ave. That might be hard with children or older folks, but we managed just fine.
Overall, I'd stay here again.

It was ok. Stayed because of event next to hotel. Charged you to check bags. Charged other misc fees. Property just felt dark & low end with below average service

I was told by Hotels.com there was free breakfast At the Paramount Hotel. In fact, free breakfast at the Paramount Hotel does not exist.

I rented two rooms and one of them the air conditioning was not working, around 8 at night when we arrived at the hotel I went down to the front desk and told them if they could fix it and they told me that an engineer would immediately come to check the air conditioning and it never arrived.
We went out for dinner and I returned to the hotel at 12 midnight and the air conditioning was still damaged, I went down again and asked them if they could move me to another room and they didn't want to until I insisted they moved me to a single-bed room I had originally rented a two-bed room this happened almost at 2 in the morning. Very bad the state in which the rooms are and the elevated not to talk about, sometimes I worked and sometimes not

We stayed here to be down town New York City. The room smelt of mold, walls had water damage, check in/service was slow. It was a classic picture looked good but reality it wasn’t great. Beds were comfortable at least. They have carpets in the room which left the rooms feeling/smelling stuffy. No mini fridges in rooms either. Elevator staff was the only highlight, they were kind and proactive however stays at a hotel are not based on this service. I would explore other options than staying here.

Comfortable but window view was not as shown in pictures advertised. Also bathroom did not have any fan based exhaust so it would get super wet after shower.

I love staying at the Paramount Hotel. The staff are very friendly and helpful in any way. The only thing I have to say is that the beds are too soft for me.

I always enjoy staying at the Paramount. A great location that is pretty organized. I appreciate the super-clean room. The only problem with my stay last week is that I (and others) stood in line at least 20 minutes to check in because the two check in staff were handling what were clearing complicated situations. I have full faith they knew how to do their jobs. There wasn't enough staff to check in the volume of people. A good manager should have seen this and sprung into action to help. This was not a good first interaction. Basically, senior Paramount staff know that if we have a reservation then we are essentially hostages.

Reception friendliness was lacking. Elevator out of service one morning. Concierge travel to airport was wayyyy off on timing which caused anxiety getting to airport on time. Location was great if you’re seeing shows.

Room is terribly smaller and outdated come compared to the images listed on line. Paint chips everywhere. Latch to secure door missing. Room so small we had to stop and wait while we passed each other at the foot of the bed.

We have stayed at this property many times for over 10+ years. This time it was very disappointing. The property it’s in shambles and needs major repairs. Pictures are from its glory days. Never staying here again. Staff does a great job given the circumstances.

The manager and staff were very friendly and supportive through the stay. However, it was awful on arrival because of a glitch that caused dozens to have no rooms available. We had been on planes for 24 hours, then in the train metro to Manhattan, walked with luggage to the lobby to find a mess. This should not have happenned.
Since that bad experience, things were great. The manager was exceptionally nice. The staff too.

Nightmare. Dirty, hair in the tub. Sink leaking. Very loud. The windows are from the 18th century you hear everything from the street.

There are no cups provided in the room, the one ice machine for the entire hotel was broken our entire stay. They did, however, redecorate the lobby while we were there. Would rather have had ice and cups. Housekeeping was excellent. Room was very clean.

Small rooms in New York as we expected. Bathroom sink and toilet paper holder were awkwardly placed. Bathroom plug didn’t work along with the ice machine on our floor. It was adequate for what we needed

Excellent location! Time Square is out the door to your left. You are surrounded by Broadway theaters. Current run of Hamilton is literally across the street. 30 Rock is a 15 minute walk. The French bakery/restaurant out front is awesome. The room is adequate. Need a cold room to sleep, you can crank the thermostat down and ask for an extra blanket. Bed was closer to firm, but not hard. The shower is unique. Easily room for 2 people. Also, a pair of electrical plugs on the shower wall by the door. Hot water and ok water pressure. Must ask for wash cloth. There is handsoap gel and shampoo provided. Good lighting and mirror for make up. However, absolutely no room to unpack your make up. Yes, there is hair dryer. The room had a clothes steamer, no iron. We did not get to the bar or gym. Staff was great at check in. 3 night stay. Would definitely stay again!

I want to first say the staff were all very friendly. The hotel itself is a catfish. It looks NOTHING like the pictures. It’s very run down. It’s very dirty. They are doing renovations and it just looks so sad. I will not return and I learned my lesson booking an extra stay last minute.

Great location. Renovating the lobby. Need to renovate the rooms which are getting a bit dated/dingy. Better sound proofing on the windows would go a long way.

The hotel is in a perfect location if you’re going to broadway shows. The rooms are small. There are no amenities like coffee pot or fridge. They are renovating the lobby so it was busy and noisy. Overall 4* paid a ridiculous amount for “resort fees” no idea what that was for.

Hotel was great, clean and nice and spacious. Very quiet. Room service was great. Everyone was very helpful.. The only problem I have is entering the hotel lobby should be much easier because there’s a casino there. There’s a lot of confusion in the parking, especially if you arrive at the hotel late. The hotel is not very clear on where to park and where their official entrance is you end up getting lost going around and round specially if you have to check in later in the evening.

Another wonderful stay at The Paramount. Loved every minute. Only downside was an out of service elevator. Made the wait for the others a bit longer.

Hi, overall friendly staff. The location is great. The gentleman who tried to fix the shower proper and clear. Manager friendly and receptive. Price for a value depend on the point of view. NYC is getting old so expect lowering your excitation if you are coming from new economic top country.
Minus: organisation overall. My shower didn’t have hot water last day. And it took a bit to solve the problem.
Second there is a charge to leave the suitcase. Only cash where the ATM in the hotel is not working. The reception is not dealing with issue as they are separate companies.

The hotel room was perfect and hit exactly what was needed for a quick trip to NYC. The bathroom was a bit cramped but did the job. The staff was amazing.

Only 2 lifts from 4 works. Still traffic and waiting for lifts. Free water only on 4 floor. Ice machine broken.Time for renovation.

Staff was great. Room was tiny, but not unexpected. Hotel is being renovated/refreshed. Water pressure was anemic. Upon checking in, no hot water - it got to about room temp after running a very long time. Next morning, water temp was fine, though still no pressure.

My experience here was very good. If you are a person who only needs bare minimum (bed, bathroom, shelf) then it is perfect if you need more like a fridge, more closet space, or anywhere to put your things if there’s more than one person than it might not be the perfect fit. The bed was super comfy, hot water available, staff was super friendly and welcoming. Perfect location as well seeing time square as soon as you walk out the building is definitely a perk you can’t get at other places.

Refills on the bath shower gels were needed. Towels and wash cloths were also missing. Bathroom was a bit dusty.

Hotel was convenient to times square, broadway, and show venues. Despite being on the 15th floor, the rooms was very noisy. It seems like the windows were open because the outside sound was so loud. No amenities in the room. Bed was comfortable, but one side sagging so badly, I almost fell off. There is only one ice maker for the whole hotel, no ice buckets (they provide little plastic bags for ice and paper cups only), and the ice machine was broken on our second night.

The room was clean, except that the sink seemed to be damaged and there was exposed water damage and grout around the edge and the handles leaked when the sink was running. I was expecting a tub from the listing and got a shower, and the shower curtain was shorter than the opening so if I wasn’t careful, water would have gotten everywhere. Washcloths were not provided, but were delivered upon request. The bed was clean but was firmer than I normally like in a hotel bed; feather down pillows were great. They provided a hairdryer and a clothing steamer, and a spot where an iron should have been, but no iron or ironing board. Housekeeping knocked on my door at 10am when checkout is 11am; annoying. Location obviously can’t be beat if you’re seeing a Broadway show.
