Excellent clean rooms and front desk is very friendly and helpful, however the wifi is very poor, so if you have to work remotely I don’t recommend staying here.
If pool is closed for maintenance, they still charge you the resort fee.
(Prices of rooms, if discounted, are good. However, between occupancy tax, tourism fee and hotel fee you end up paying twice the price of your hotel room.)

Quick check in. Friendly staff. Good breakfast. Nice property.

Loved Creekside!! The second floor creekside up charge is definitely worth it- it’s so peaceful and such a pretty view. Room and hotel are great. My only gripe is the pillows were so so hard - I’ll bring my own next time I go. Oh also front staff were terrific! Very helpful, and very friendly.

No one ever came to clean our room (for 3 days). And no one told us whether or not we had to ask.

A true gem! Comfortable and cozy room. Sparkling clean, everything is working well. Loved the wood work.

The aesthetics of the property and the location were excellent. Beautiful scenery, well kept, and clean. The majority of the staff were pleasant, friendly, and welcoming. The breakfast was decent and the dining area was clean. The only thing that we felt could have been better was the hard and uncomfortable mattress. All in all it was a very pleasant stay with a gorgeous view of the creek and snow-capped mountains.

I’m usually not impressed by hotels…unless it’s somewhat pricey, Creekside Inn would be an exception. All of my expectations were surpassed, well, with the exception of the refrigerator. My thought is they are slated to be upgraded in the future, otherwise too small, not cold enough, no freezer area. Still, 5+stars. I’m telling all my friends who frequent the 395, and I will be staying here exclusively when in the area. Also during this trip we stayed at an average hotel on our drive home, it was JUST a place to sleep and wash up indoors, no awesome atmosphere, soft comfortable and clean chairs, clean grout restrooms, a room you truly wanted to stay in and enjoy the comfortable feeling.

Clean and comfortable. What more could you ask for?

This is my third attempt to review Creekside which is a great hotel. My negative overall review is with Expedia’s business practice that did not clearly list the actual resort fee that the hotel will collect. You have to hit the details’ button to find the hidden fee.

Every thing super nice

The property is beautiful. Staff friendly and helpful. I just don’t understand properties that will not allow guests to control room temperature.

Clean, renovated and friendly staff. Excellent breakfast

Traveling in inclement weather where the road had closed. We stopped at Creekside Inn to take our chances on a room available. There was only one desk clerk, as the other had called in, and a line of people. The desk clerk was wonderfully efficient and friendly. The complimentary breakfast was also very nice with many options. Would definitely recommend.

We were very impressed with the overall clean and solid condition of this property and the room itself. Very nicely and 'fittingly' designed and decorated throughout. The bed was the most comfortable I have experienced in a very long time. Complimentary breakfast was so much more than "continental". It is close to full service. All of the staff members were impressive. Could not have asked for anything more from this hotel or the staff.

The breakfast was terrible, the pillows were of no support, seemed like it was made out of cheap cotton balls with no support to sleep, the coffee tasted old and the eggs were terrible and cold, please don’t waste your money on this hotel, there charges are expensive without any value in their rooms or breakfast food, you’re better off getting McDonald’s and staying at the Holiday Inn express. Also the customer service is terrible, no concern or regards to hidden fees. I booked my stay through Expedia and they will not let you be aware of hidden charges on your credit card. They charge additional taxes and fees, even though Expedia says everything is paid for. Don’t waste your time and money in this class less place

Polite staff, attractive grounds. I understand a bar will be open this summer.

The pool and hot tub were nice.

Unfortunately they gave us a room with a balcony that overlooked the parking lot. We paid top dollar the week before and it was very quiet. We could have had a nicer room but didn’t get it.

They charged me twice even if i told them that i booked through Expedia already. Now i see another charge is pending. I dont know what all these charges about. If you are Asian, dont go here.

Very nice property, but not many guests. Feels kind of lonely there.

Very nice visit. Great decor

Check in was terrible. Booked and paid via Expedia and the Creekside didn’t have the reservation. 30 minutes to clear it up.

This place is pristine. The rooms are large, well-appointed and spiffy clean. I was surprised when the front desk staff said the property was last remodeled in the 1990s as it looks like it was recently upgraded.

Very happy with the Creekside Inn. Room was very nice, bed comfortable, clean. Staff friendly. Breakfast very good. Hot tub was perfect after long day off hiking/fishing.

A stop along the way between National Parks, the Creekside Inn was probably the best hotel on a price/quality basis in our 3 week tour of SW USA. The Full breakfast included in the price was a rare bonus for the US, Bishop was pleasant town though probably not worth an extended stay as great attractions lie north and south.

Stayed for one night in September. Lovely hotel with creek running through it. Good location for visiting Mt Whitney, Lone Pine, Bodie and Yosemite.

Our room faced hwy 395 so it was a bit noisy. Wish I had requested one farther back

It was a perfect spot to stop on our way from SoCal to Tahoe. Creekside was well kept and the staff was helpful and friendly. We will stop here again.
