The hotel was overbooked by over 10 rooms. At check in I was told I would have to leave on Thursday even though I was booked through Sunday. The ladies at the desk were very nice but no sign of a manager even when I asked numerous times for him. I was told on wed that I could stay until Friday. Then on Thursday they said I could stay till Sunday. I had friends also staying there that had to leave.

The hotel is going through renovations. The problem is they are putting people in rooms that are covered in drywall dust.

Fire alarm started beeping at 1:30 AM. Using the hotel room phone, the front desk button just returned busy signal. Finally I called their local 540 number and got an answer. Maintenance came and removed the alarm from the wall and disabled it.

Breakfast was good. Some units were under renovation. Hard to get good heat on a very cold night. Too easy to hear people in next unit. Didn’t know you enter unit from the outside.

I booked this dump because on kayak it had the most stars of all the hotels in town. What a complete and total dump.Room is dirty, paint pealing, cob webs hanging from the ceiling. We arrived after 9pm after a long day. Otherwise we would have left. Worst room I’ve ever stayed in anywhere.

Clean and great little motel for a weekend in Culpepper for a wedding. Would have loved to go in summer because the pool looks lovely!

Placed in smoking room. Smell so bad son had to leave room and sleep in car. Blinds yellowed. Hotel room hasn't been updated in decades. Bathroom so small difficult to even turn around.

The restaurant is great, and the rooms are fine. It’s a bit too noisy but to be expected.

arriving they didn't have my room ready. had to waiting 40 mins. to get into room. the air condition did not work. talked to front desk and they said we can't do anything about that. the breakfast was horrible. never staying there again

Very friendly staff. Best breakfast set up at any hotel I’ve ever been in! Wonderful, hot and cold Buffet with longer breakfast hours. Upon my return at a future date, I will be staying here again. 😊

The room was clean. The beds were okay. The A/C fan won't run continuously which would be nice to block out outside noise. The room was outdated and a little musty.

Property is decent. Clean and quiet room. Staff is very friendly and the Breakfast is excellent. I don't drink but there is a nice bar as well

Hotel was rented out by a group but i was not notified. They were allowed to play loud music and have the pool open all night. Poor customer service to allow anyone else to rent a room while the property is consumed by one group. Should have been notified. Better yet the property should have been closed to others.

Excellent place to stay. I have no complaints and was quite impressed. I would most definitely recommend it to anyone looking to stay at a great property.

You can tell that the staff really cares about this property. Everyone is so friendly and caring and the rooms are nice and clean. The free breakfast is really great as well.

My room when arrived had a toilet that kept running and a clogged sink. Called and they were to send someone next am. Toilet not fixed. Sink fixed.

This property is spread out with several buildings surrounding a pool in the center. The free breakfast is served buffet-style in the on-site restaurant and is about average for Best Western hotels. The room was comfortable and well-appointed and parking was ample. The "privacy please" for the door was magnetic, a huge improvement over those flimsy ones that fall off the handle. My only complaint is small--when I checked in, no mention was made about breakfast (hours, location or the fact that you need to get a ticket every morning at the front desk). However, it all worked and we had quite a nice stay.

Super friendly receptionist, when I arrived at 1 AM. Really appreciated that! And then the bag with two waters and a couple bags of chips was a very nice touch. Accommodations were simple and I was very happy to be there.

This is a very old, outdated property. It is in need of a complete renovation. The staff was great which is the only good thing about our experience.

I've stayed here several times. It's clean and basic. I do find that the bathroom is very small which is inconvenient, and there are never enough covers on the bed, but that is a Best Western chain problem, not this hotel's. The restaurant was nice and food was good.

Did not feel safe here. It was so loud surrounding the hotels with guests and random loud noisds all night.
