Room was lovely and very spacious but was concerning that anyone could access hotel floor via hotel lift without swiping key card. Cleaning not done until late afternoon which was annoying. Also time not consistent. Stayed 3 nights in Room 115. Toilet was very low. Safe also on a very low shelf so not possible to easily access. Had to request additional teas and coffees which were promptly supplied. Nowhere to get a coffee on site when we arrived (public holiday). Found staff difficult to understand - reception, restaurant, housekeeping.

Very spotty service. On each day we requested ice. One day, never got it. Another day, arrived in minutes. Third day, told us to call room service who wanted to charge for bucket. Get your desk training consistent! Rest room in lobby out of service for over a day. Sent us next door! Are you kidding? Housekeeping came at 5:00 p.m. we were out all day, so they show up near dinner?

It's a big hotel with a casino so that means it's always full of guests. Only 2 regular elevators to the accommodation is not enough. There are 2 VIP elevators but regular guests can't ride on them. We had to access the Sky Theatre and some of the building was closed, so we had to fight our way through the casino. We needed signs!! The fan in our bathroom went the entire time we were there. Room was clean and comfortable. At reception when we checked in we weren't given a card for parking that would provide the $35 per day fee, so when we inserted our parking card it read $96. Be sure to give your guests who are self-parking the card they need!

We were happy in this hotel. Great service, friendly staff and spacious room. Not a great view (solid lump of concrete forming base of sky tower. Very quiet with zero noise from adjoining rooms. Would stay here again. Loved the vibrant street food on sale just outside the hotel

For the price you pay for an international hotel a minimum expectation would be to have water available in your room without asking for it. The room had a mini bar set up without anything in it. Reception service was poor.

Shuttle bus & intercity buses are onsite. Hop On Hop Off bus stop & local bus stops are within 100m. Underground parking $35/day. Many nearby restaurants. Easy walk to Queen St shopping, Quay & Viaduct areas. Spacious, comfortable room.

The Young lady at reception was lovely and friendly. I was pleasantly surprised to receive complimentary wine waiting in the room upon my arrival. Thankyou for making my birthday weekend an enjoyable experience

While the room upgrade was a great and welcome surprise, coming back to a room that had not been made up at 4.30 pm was certainly disappointing. Otherwise few complaints though I’d advise travellers to be quite sure they are getting the right price from cab drivers around the hotel.

We stayed at SkyCity Auckland back in November 2023. Our flight arrived in the morning, and even though we had a 3pm check the hotel made accomodations for us to check-in on arrival. That was a 10am check-in we got at no extra charge. We used the turn down service as much as possible since we didn't really need much cleaning, and we received a discount on our room service because of it. I can't tell you how much we enjoyed our stay. In the evenings we were within walking distance to many restaurants. The service was excellent. We used the concierge, and all the agents were spectacular. We were able to get in one evening at the Sky bar and our service was amazing and great recommendations on food and drinks. The view from up top was breathless! We got lucky a few times going to our room and saw a few people jumping from the tour ride. Our stay was excellent, I can't say enough about how much we love our stay. Thank you SkyCity Auckland.

Not even a bottle of water for purchase in the room check in late had to boil the water 2 types of Tea bags to choice that’s it very limited for a 4 ⭐️ star hotel ??? The in room dining services was excellent very quick lovely service. The rooms very dark lighting can improve .

We stayed here for two night with two adults and two kids. Functional rooms, with two queen beds and ensuite. Nothing remarkable, but certainly a clean, safe and reliable place to stay. The location is excellent with heap of great dining options everywhere you look and just a stroll to the marina and Harbourside shops. Bonus point for the fact that although it’s situated in a casino, we never once had to walk anywhere near the gambling centre.

Better than we expected. Room was spacious and clean, bed was huge, firmed and comfortable. Bathroom was super clean, like new and with a good size shower.Staff was helpful; we have an early flight into Auckland airport and got to the hotel around 9 am after 20 hours of flight from the states. The staff was able to find a room to check us in before 11 am, that helped us tremendously.

Generally good. We were grateful for any early checkIn. Large comfortable room. The instructions to get ice on the tv were wrong. However once we were able to order ice, it was delivered very quickly. Not generous with amenities, (no shower cap, tiny pieces of soap) Lobby furniture was extremely uncomfortable.Check out procedure took way too long, multiple steps and questions. Orbit restaurant had good service and views but just average food and terrible cocktails.

I had higher expectations especially for a hotel in Skycity, our bathroom didn’t have a bath and the tv didn’t function properly. At many other hotels tv channels are free but you had to pay for it here. Personally don’t think this hotel is worth the price.
