It wasn’t clean but wasn’t dirty. The shower didn’t get hot and the sound from the elevator All. Night. Long. kept us up. AC did stay nice and cold.
Staff was friendly at checkin and check out but did not get a receipt or explanation of any charges for the room.

Let me start off by saying I’m pretty particular with cleanliness of hotels. Cleanliness was the best part of the stay. The room was near the elevator and you could hear the motor all night long. The shower curtain bar was broken and the shower curtain wouldn’t stay closed during any shower. The water in the shower was warm but we could never get the water hot no matter what position the faucet was at. The sink was clogged. The mattress had a large dip in the center of on of the beds. None of this was a huge deal and not even enough to ask to be moved. What was upsetting was the dismissal at the front desk at check out. I suggested a Maintenance order be put in for the hot water, shower bar, and clogged sink. I was told I didn’t know how to operate the faucet and was dismissed. I have been in customer service my whole life and this was not the correct way to handle the situation. I wasn’t asking for a discount! I wasn’t raising my voice! I wasn’t being nasty! I was suggesting they fix the issues before the next guest arrived. I wouldn’t have even left a review, but the way the ladies at the front desk choose to handle the situation was not ok. I choose to pay extra money ($460 for 2 nights) to stay in a place that I thought would be better than some of the older hotels in the area that were cheaper. So if you choose to stay here, make sure you don’t get a room near the elevator and check the hot water before unpacking. And DON’T expect good service at the front desk either!

The property overall was very taken care of, staff was exceptional, room was nice but lacked a recliner and mattress was way too soft for my liking. Breakfast was disappointing, the only hot food was make your own waffles and toast, bagels cold cereal, packaged muffins. The restaurant next door, Bubba’s fish camp and smokehouse is out of the park good!

the key card to get in doors and room doesn't work well at all. it takes about 20 times each time and sometimes (as at an outside door) not at all. you must get that fixed!!! the hotel is fantastic, right next to Bubba's - the best! great location too. But those key cards spoil the good!

Upon arrival I was promptly helped. The two women at the desk were super nice. Going to the room I see that doors outside the hotel need a touch up and the room needs a serious upgrade. The suite furniture was dirty and outdated. The bathroom was clean but everything was old. The air in the bedroom part didn’t work as it should. The tv started to turn off randomly. And breakfast was a joke. Overall those type of prices should be criminal for the way the hotel looks.

So the first night which was a Friday many other guests were coming in loud and late (after 1 am) .. one group had 2 very large dog that got into a major fight right out side our door...having driven 9 hours from sarasota fla we were exhausted and got no sleep. Your staff was great except whoever was on dury that night... sat a lot of the same ..pool was closed that sucked..breakfast was difficult since we are both diabetics and everything but fruit and hard boiled eggs was carbs...pur bath tub was cracked the the electric plugs were bad my plugs kept coming out.and with no room service i was constantly at the desk for linens coffee and cups in our 3 nights. The most annoying thing was the constant having to get new room keys through NO fault of ours i was told that was an ongoing issue and they were waiting for management to get new keys. So it wasn't great but your people were nice. We'll look for a different place.

The hotel was quiet and clean. They accommodated my dogs. The staff was friendly. The breakfast was a normal continental carb focused breakfast. I would recommend adding to the menu like turkey sausage and scrambled eggs.

We booked this hotel to stay with our boys Lacrosse team that was there to play a few games. We book for 3 nights. Everyday I had to have the set our keys to get in atlest 2 times. The day came around we were checked out with out a word. The 12 rooms our team had they checked 8 rooms. Left us without rooms. I was able to get our back put the boys were not. The front was called seavel times about kids running up and down the hallways, and a young man in the hallway cussing and yelling in the middle of the night. I haelve stayed several different La Quinta and this one was the worst.

The time spent in the room was absolutely worth it, though it was a last minute decision to make a pit stop for a long distance trip, it was the best sleep I could’ve gotten for the night.

The room looks like it needs renovated and the upgraded. Tge fitness room window aws smashed. The pool was not open. The breakfast was just grab and go items besides the waffles. For the price you pay for this hotel Ill be looking for a different place.

We had booked another room at another site, even with confirm # they could not find my reservation. Tried a second hotel and sketchy guests there. Finally came off of the beach and found La Quinta, third time was a charm! Front desk was amazing and we were very happy with accommodations. Slept like babies, resting up for cheer competition 📣

The hallways smelled like marijuana and the room was very gross. There was literally sticky stuff on the door handles and it was apparent the staff did the absolute minimum to consider it a “clean” room. I.e. change the sheets and towels. There were rose petals on the floor from previous guests. The wall fixtures were also caked in dust so it hasn’t had a deep cleaning in quite some time. We will not return

We usually stay at this La Quinta location when attending an annual event at the nearby Broadway at the Beach because it is so conveniently located and priced affordably. The rooms are comfortable and provide amenities such as a refrigerator, desk and reclining chair. My husband requires an accessible room and these rooms offer a shower chair and rails in the bathroom. The only problem we encountered was that the shower didn’t work, so we needed to take baths, which would not have been my preference. However, it was only a 2-night stay, so we made do and reported the problem at checkout. The hotel offers a daily breakfast which includes a selection of bagels, bread for toast, hard-boiled eggs, cereal, yogurt, fruit and breakfast beverages including fruit juices.

This hotel is done a lot of renovations and updates.... The room that I stayed in has had the carpet taken out and they put in laminate floors which I think is probably a good thing when it comes to cleanliness and germs.... But the bathroom sink and counter Head left over debris such as toothpaste and other things and the bathtub was not very clean and apparently the soap dish or something had fallen off the wall and been repaired but it's not a very good job.... This hotel used to be a lot cleaner..... They did a nice job with the free breakfast.

Beds too small. Bathroom disgusting. Hair on the floor. Toilet was nasty. I refused to sit on toilet. All the furniture in the room was out of date. Just a very uncomfortable experience. I will never return.

This hotel was by far the best hotel I have stayed in. Everything was spot on. Room was very clean and nice. The staff was super friendly and helpful. The location was perfect and the price was an added plus. I can't ever remember staying in a hotel that was this quiet. My family enjoyed our weekend stay here and this will be our go to hotel we we return to Myrtle. THANK YOU for an amazing stay.

We had neighbors yelling every miry. Seemed like permanent residence of hotel. The room was next to elevator which we heard all night. Room had chair with ink pen marks all over it from a child. Room was less than desirable.

Came in for a girls night. Since it was so foggy when we arrived i booked a room not on the ocean. Ive stayed with La Quinta before and this was not so pleasant. Microwave dirty, sheets flipped upside down. Bathroom tube continued to drip which lead to a not so clean bath tub around the mat. I think this is it for me.
