No running water for the first half of the stay

From check in to check out it was horrible. They gave me a room card to someone else's room so i walked in on someone. I didn’t have a mini fridge or microwave in the room. The TV did not work. The water was turned off for several hours. Multiple people had tried to get in my room throught the day and night. Not worth what i paid at all.

It was one of the worst stays anywhere for us. I paid for a room with a microwave and fridge. The microwave didn’t work, remote didn’t work and the toilet was clogged. Went to the front desk 4 times to resolve matters and one of the folks came to look at the toilet said the would be right back…never came back. I went to the front desk to inquire and she said we are going to move your room. I said when were you going to tell me? No response. Then we ended up with a room with no microwave or fridge! The halls all smelled like smoke and urine.

First they gave us a room that was already occupied and ended up walking in on them sleeping. Then outside our new room there was a pile of dog poop on the floor and it happened twice and there was something sticky on the floor in our room. Then the people in the room next to us were fighting and banging super loud to the point where it was shaking our bed. Barely got any sleep. I'd definitely am not gonna stay here again. Would recommend the valley instead.

Mixed reviews:
Housekeeping - Gary did a great job cleaning the room prior to my arrival.
Front desk staff at check in - were nowhere to be found. I waited in the lobby for 20min +/- before she returned from somewhere outside.. there were housekeeping clipboards and master keys as well as several other key cards on the desk in a 'tossed on the way by' manner
Laundry facilities: dryers appeared as if they had fallen from a truck on the highway and labeled out of order. Washer 1 appeared to operate normally until I returned to collect my items and found that it had only filled up and drained out - didn't aggitate or spin even 1 time around. I had no choice but to hand ring the entire load, I was completely soaked before it was over. Washer 2 required $19 to start the cycle, so I opted against using it.
Front desk staff at check out: again waited about 15min for him to show up from somewhere upstairs, I asked of the possibility of maybe an hour extended check out - told I could have 30 min. Went back to room and was literally SCREAMED at by who I assume was head housekeeper or maintenance man that I had 10 min to 'get out'. I requested a $3.75 refund for the washer, front desk man refused, referred me to helpline posted on machine, found no stickers or dialogue anywhere on it, relayed info to desk, at which point I became invisible deserving of silence and being ignored as if I weren't there.

Check in process took a long time. When I got my room , it was dirty and I had to go back and then wait for a different room. The room was very dirty.The floors were not clean, nor were he counter tops in the bathroom or main room. I saw 3 different moving bugs during my evening. There were issues with my television that took quite a while to resolve. I know it is under new ownership.However it was still a long process with a filthy room although the staff tried to be helpful and accommodating.

The Motel 6 is adequate, but not a place I'd take a family. The room was non-smoking, but the hotel had been a smoking facility in the past... you never get rid of that smell. One towel rack was broken off the wall and there was a small hole in another wall. The staff was very friendly.

We made reservations for the Motel 6 on Rustle Way, in Spokane as there was a storm in CO and we needed another night to avoid the storm returning from Coeur D' Alene for a conference. We stopped at the Motel 6 off highway 2 to check it out. We needed to use the restroom and our room wasn't ready, so the front lady said we could quickly use the staff one as we had been traveling and really needed to go. The hallway REEKED of so much smoke, it was dirty and run down. The lady was very nice though and said the non-smoking rooms were in a different area. My husband so appalled didn't feel we should stay there. We cancelled and spent a lot more money to stay somewhere else. The web site display of the room looked good, but your little reservation desk picture to the left here, that office no way looked like that! We sure learned something. So glad we stopped and looked at it.

Terrible , took 30 minutes to get my room and even had a pre paid reservation and the front desk didn’t have any keys so had to wait for keys to be brought down, then get to room long ways from front desk key don’t work so had to go back, then room was very cold, bathroom sink plugged not able to drain water

First room the bed was dirty, had long hair in made bed, make up smeared on pillow. Second room the door would not open. Third room the bed was made but there was food chunks and crumbs on both beds, and something smeared on the bed spread of one of the beds.

The heater unit works very effectively, and the location is nicely set back from the main road which makes for quiet sleep

Motel 6 is reliably a "clean, comfortable room" at a very cheap price. I know not to have high expectations. The person at the counter when I checked in was delightful and friendly. When I got to my room the toilet was running and the smoke alarm was chirping -- both easily resolved. I was a little bothered that the doors from the parking lot could be opened without a room key -- seems like a potential security problem. But really, I have no real complaints and I am sure I'll stay there again in the future.

There was a surprise fifty dollar deposit upon arrival although I had paid for my stay completely days before I arrived. Also there were bedbugs which bit my wife. Would never stay here again

I normally don't give a negative review, but. The bathroom fan did not work, i had my cat with and every time she used her box i had to spray lysol. I stayed for several days waiting for my home to be ready. On the 3rd night my son and i was jumped by some guy in a green goodie demanding Crack out side the entrance when we went to return to our room he charged us and tried to force. Entry, we called the police and filed a report, tried to call the front desk but no one answered. Also we had a liquid spill on one of the beds when we called for new bedding we had to strip the bed found out there was not a mattress protecter on the bed so we had to flip the mattress then take the dirty bedding to the office before we could get clean bedding. Will not stay there again. Also the pictures advertised showed a small fridge. Nope. The laundry room was down for repairs. Other than that nice place staff was pleasent, the room was clean.

Absolutely disappointed in this room we had although we have stayed at this motel before this time my room was horrible so disgusted in the lack of cleanliness hair everywhere in the bathroom and all shower walls even a gross 😝 used bandaid stuck to the shower wall definitely was not even cleaned or looked at the entire floor in room and bathroom look and felt like they have never mopped it in months..my feet were so gross from walking around..so sad

all didnt work with volume. No coffee available! Imean seriously! And some kind of muffins or SOMETHING for breakfast coukd have been available. Ive been to other motel 6 and their service was extremely better.

When checking in, the customer service was lacking. The receptionist was short not informative and acting like I was bothering him. Went to go to my room and the key would not open the entrance door. Returned to reception area and again was treated like it was an inconvenience to fix the problem. Wifi would not work and allow internet access. When I return that evening again the key would not work, went to receptionist and again was treat like I was inconveniencing them to fix the key problem. Lacking I costumer service

We checked in to Motel 7 west in Spokane, WA before my heart ablation and it was awful, the lobby stunk like marijuana the girl in the office said the second I said I was checking in, “you have to pay a $50 deposit per night, can you afford that” I assumed there would be a deposit there always is for motels but the way it was presented was odd. The motel is pet friendly which is great but my husband and I listened to multiple dogs bark all night and I wish I was exaggerating, I assume they were with one family but they never quieted them. Multiple guests ended up in the hall trying to locate the room with the dogs. The volume on the tv didn’t work in the room and there were a handful of sticky spots on the floor. It wasn’t the best experience and I won’t stay there again.

Staff is very nice & helpful.
The guests are meh, so just stay to yourself unless you get super lucky.
But, overall they do a really good job on their up keep of the rooms for the price you pay & very accommodating.

The owner definitely needs to spend some effort updating this location and refurbishing the place. The desks and furniture inside the room is somewhat updated but all the sheets and blankets are stained and/or have holes in them. There’s no bathtubs, only showers which was a huge disappointment but the General Manager and her team were amazing.
One of the housekeepers was incredibly rude but the rest of the staff was absolutely awesome and efficient during my stay.
When I first checked in the shower curtain in my room was stained 2 feet in length with just the foulest looking mess- whoever the housekeeper was, not impressed but I informed the front desk and they brought me a brand new one.

The bed sheets were all stained with blood and some other substance. The shower was the worst that I've been in, no pressure, shower head was about to fall off and the filth was outright disgusting. There were people crawling into windows of other rooms. One guy walking around with a can that was made into a pipe. The door scanner did not work to get into the rear of the building. The rooms smelled awful. the list goes on. This is a slum motel. There is a small tent city setup on the roadway into the motel. Do not stay here.
