The room is old and dusty. The refresh is long overdue. The location is central, probably the the only positive thing I could say about this place.
10.0
What we liked:
1. Amazing check-in
2. Amazing equipment in the suite - dishwasher, washing machine and dryer
3. Parking facilities - easy and user-friendly
4. Accessibility to all
What we did not like:
1. Splashback areas around sink are warped, cracked and peeling and probably have mould. Simple solution would be tiles.
2. There was no fan in the room - in WGT summer this is a must as opening windows during traffic is not an option
3. The foyer and lift carpets needed vacuuming at the time of our arrival and departure.

Spacious, pleasant apartment, if a little tired on parts. Great to be on 5th floor. Staff very helpful snd accommodating.

Great position but apartment worse for wear. Quite a few bits broken or not working (range hood light, heated towel rail, etc). Nice size space but better for winter due no aircon. It was extremely hot. If the windows were opened the road noise was very bad thus poor sleep. Bed quite comfortable. The price was good though, staff were professional and friendly.

Nice property with good location

The apartment was cleaned, but not deep clean. The seals at the bottom of the shower needed replacing and the vent in the bathroom needed cleaning. It didn't feel dirty, they had just missed deep cleaning certain areas.
Some of the furniture was in need of refurbishment. Not a big job, but something that had not been addressed.
There had obviously been a problem with the heater and there were black marks up the wall which hadn't been cleaned off properly.
Otherwise, it had everything we needed, including washing machine and tumble dryer.
It looked like the owners were in the process of refurbishing and were working on the infrastructure.
The receptionists were polite and helpful.
The apartments are right on Lambton Quay, so easy access to shopping, tourist sites and bus routes.
The Quest felt secure and safe.

The rooms were nice, there was a washer and dryer which was great. Nice location, easy to walk to a lot of places inc!uding the ferry terminal. Unfortunately there is no air conditioning and the street noise is VERY loud.

The shop across the road from our apartment had four workers replacing the store front and using a metal grinder until after 1am. We had to call noise control who only came by 2am when we were able to sleep. We had to get up at 6am to catch our train. The staff member should check for noise when they leave the hotel at 8pm each night. The workers were seen leaving the shop as we exited at the hotel at 6.45am. Please lay a complaint with Wellington council as this would be a breach of by-laws. It was the shop adjacent to RYIOS adidas shop.

No air con, furniture looking tired

We arrived at the property just after midnight and when we arrived, it was hard to check in as no one was answering the phone for 10 minutes. Then there was no water on arrival but we found a note that there was a leak outside on the street, which was getting repaired , which is understandable but in the morning to our surprise there was no hot water so we ended up with the cold shower. beside that all the furniture was looking very tired and well overdue for replacement. So the Quest needs a good refurbishment.

Very spacious apartment right in the centre of town, and very affordable. Appeared to be inaccessible for wheelchair.

Late check in didn’t work. We were lucky that another guest arrived shortly after and he met us in.

Property is old and a bit run down. Noisey street. Not double glazed. Uncomfortable couch, old TV, no chrome cast option. Like that it had washer & dryer, good size closet. Bathroom cupboards swelled up grom moisture, heated towel rail not wired in. Shower really noisey and not flowing well, heavy doors slam and noisey. Extractor fan needs cleaning. Close to transport, csfes, supermarket, shops, office building

Centrally located Quest on Hunter. Spacious, quiet rooms. Aspects of kitchen cabinetry and bathroom tiling tired/in need of refurbishment but good to have affordable, centrally located hotel rooms available midweek. Fantastic front office staff. I would definitely stay again

Great value!

Housekeeping below par. You would expect to have your room attended to prior to 3.30/4.30pm daily. Rationed to 4 satchels of coffee per day.

Room was ok but getting a bit tired. The chair and sofa are well past their use by date. Some wall and ceiling repairs were rather not professionally done. Otherwise things were fine.

Great location close to Willis Lane food court. Like the hertitage feel of the room and building.
Im probably not the only lazy person who would prefer the tv to be viewable from the bed...

Beautiful older building. Boutique feel. Easy access. Friendly front of house staff, very welcoming. Stayed in room 6B. Warm, quiet and clean. Very spacious for a family stay or lots of room for a couple with good size lounge, dining and kitchen facilities, two bedrooms, two toilets, shower over bathtub. Comfortable bed.

Large spacious apartment with clothes washing and drying facilities in room

It’s central place with great access to town. However, the room had extremely poor internet, which makes work next to impossible. Kitchen was usable and well stocked re equipment, but only instant coffee and green tea.

Amazing service. The thing that stood this hotel apart from others we stayed in was the exceptional service. The receptionist when we arrived was incredibly helpful and amazing service.
The room was spotless and so quiet! We loved our stay
