I ended up not staying in this hotel after having paid for 2 nights. The place was dirty - mould and stains on the carpet, and a whiff of bad smell in the room. I was offered an upgrade to the best rooms - God bless the staff - but it didn't change my mind because the condition of the place is not up to five-star standard. It's below 3 star. Apart from the filth, the rooms and the lobby are poorly appointed, cheesy and gaudy and full of noisy people. The location is good because the hotel is in right next to the Confucius Temple area with all the shops and next to the Qin-Huai river.

Hotel location is great. Close to shopping mall and restaurants. Biggest issue was renovation. When arrived at hotel they had a notice that renovations were happening between 9 to 5. In reality they started as early as 7:30 and normally were in full room shaking mode by 8am. English was a bit limited but to be expected in Nanjing. I think i will try another hotel next time at least until the renovations are complete.

Overall it is a good hotel to stay. They do allow early check in if there are available rooms. The only comment is that the bathroom shower space is a bit clamp.

Well located for good views of the Bund and Huangpo. Opt for bund view room to Amie most of location. Rooms above average size for city centre hotel.

Hotel is 30min via taxi (cost 30 RMB) easy to locate for the driver although also had hotel name in Chinese. A few minutes walk to the Confucius Temple. Very spacious lobby and rooms. Staff pleasant. Felt safe in the area. Close to good restaurants and shopping areas. Excellent pool.

The hotel is located right next to Confusius Temple and opposite the hotels are 2 big shopping centers. It is centrally location to many tourist attractions and getting a taxi is easy too. The room is comfortable, i especially love the bed and pillows. However, one can tell that the room is rather old and worn, i do hope they have plans to refurbish the hotel.
