It is a very good hotel, close to CP and Bangla Sahib. The service was excellent. The restaurants have great options and superb food.

Excellent value for money; great location; helpful, friendly, attentive staff, especially the concierge staff; beautiful spa, although would have liked to have been able to have drinks served round the pool, even soft drinks

The hotel was good, although it is dated, with decor from the 2000s.
The service from the staff however, was really good. Breakfast was decent, and dinner at both restaurants is really good.

The location was very good for my needs. Easy walk to Connaught Place. Shops, public transport etc. Easy drive to the airport.
Breakfast was a a wide array of dishes.
Taxis readily available.

For a hotel that is projecting itself as a luxury hotel, there were no electrical outlets to accommodate international plugs.

Location is great. Near the Sikh temple and Connaught place so good for exploring that area. Staff were friendly apart from the ones outside including the security who were encouraging us to get a hotel taxi and not a tuktuk. We got tuktuk from outside with no issues.
The room wasn’t the cleanest. It was basic. Facilities including the gym are basic too. Not five star as advertised but it was the cheapest in the area and ok for an overnight stay.

We chose this hotel because of its proximity to CP and shopping. We liked the property overall. We felt there was bias based on your background and almost felt the need to tip for everything. And one time we offered the tip and it was refused probably due to it wasn’t enough on staff’s expectations which felt a bit awkward.
Other than that zing restaurant’s staff was great and we loved the breakfast options and taste of the food. Kudos to the chefs.

Good hotel in good area. Dinner was a little expensive but great service and no risk of a bad stomach so was worth it. Beware of getting currency exchange here as you get a bad rate and we were either short changed or there is a extortionate commission/fee for doing so. Was a nice trip for the price considering it's in the posher side of Delhi but our stay got ruined the following morning when using the currency exchange

The area outside the hotel was not the greatest neighborhood but then Connaught Place is much touted and for me was a letdown. There was nothing really special about it. The hotel’s staff was very friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. Their food was great and the breakfast bountiful with a wide variety. I felt the place was a tad rundown, the lobby dark and wasn’t too sure about the carpeting in the room. Nonetheless, it was conveniently located to everything which was just an Uber ride away.

Well toilets in the main lobby area is super dirty ( next to elevator ) they are very low quality and smell of urination. This hotel should be rated as 3 star not 5 star at all

I wish the staff service was bit better. Also, being a VIP, i was not given just an houd ahy pf late checkout while I arrived late in the evening

Kept losing wifi connection. Had to call reception several times. Initial instructions to connec to wifi only worked once.

The pollution in Delhi was so bad I couldn’t stay. Got to the hotel and it was almost like smoke being pumped through the aircon.
Booked the next flight out and checked out after 7 hours.

Metropolitan is an excellent hotel, very comfortable, clean, big room, very good restaurants, breakfast is complete and all the staff is fantastic. Certainly one of the best hotels I have ever stayed. Location is also very good. Highly recommend the Metropolitan.

This is not a 5 star hotel by US or European standards 1 closer to a 3 star. Rooms are dated and bathroom towels did not smell fresh. Room service and restaurant were good, though.
