Approach to hotel is dreary. The entrance and so-called reception lobby area is like a cheap pensione. Elevator is noisy and rickety. Cleaning supplies in hallway. Suite designation is a joke. Place not worth the price and needs a complete update.

This was only an average stay…. I was slightly disappointed because I paid for a single Queen sz room , but it felt as though the bed was a Full sz bed.
But overall it was not bad it just wasn’t great like our first time we stayed there while visiting family.
The rooms were very clean and the staff was very friendly and courteous. They even worked though and use with our reservation and and it cleared up by check in.

It not a place we would ever booked again, rust on the doors, in needs of update immediately, maybe a one star ?

Nice room but had issues with the air conditioner

The hotel is supposedly a “non smoking” hotel. Employees were sitting in a bench just outside the entry smoking when I arrived. My room was old, smelled like stale smoke and had cigarette burns on the bathroom floor. On checkout the employee did not engage at all, did not ask about my stay , etc. while this hotel is 4 mins from my family’s house, I will never stay there again. It was more expensive than newer, nicer hotels per night.

The pricing was great . Better than some other the other hotels i look at in the area. Very good location.

This was our first time staying in a TownPlace Suites and we were pleasantly surprised. The room was comfortable, with lots of space, and the front desk staff were super nice.
This hotel seems to cater to tech workers and folk who come in for meetings, etc. They had a pretty decent office desk and chair (for a hotel). You could set up a whole workstation if you needed to.

I have been this hotel last May. It was okay with outdated oven and the pool is closed. I looked for another hotel without the kitchen for few weeks but i can't stand the microwave. So i have to move back to this hotel because it only has a kitchen with oven/stove top on end of June. Then i am surprised that they replaced the old oven to new oven and the pool is finally open. It was wonderful improvements.

The property was very clean and our suite was very spacious. The front desk associates were very welcoming and polite. Checkin and checkout was a breeze and they even had a goodie bag when I arrived. I did not get a chance to mae it to breakfast, but there were several complimentary drink options. However, the pool was out of order at the time of the visit. Sort of greenish color with several leaves, but overall good stay.

I booked a two bedroom suite for me, and my sister. We had our dogs with us. That’s why we booked a two bedroom suite. My dog had an ear infection, and couldn’t stand up straight. So, I wanted her to stay in a room all by herself. So she could rest. I’m glad we got there early. The AC was out completely. The room was 81 degrees. The maintenance guy said that he told them not to book that room because it was broken. They turned around, and tried to put us in a single double bed regular room. No price adjustment. No apology. Just, here’s what we have, and it’s a downgrade. The only person who gave a crap was the maintenance guy. After about two hours of back, and forth to rooms. We were all hot. My poor dog was miserable. Going up, and down the elevator was hard for her due to severe vertigo. I booked with Hotels.com. They refunded me the money for the room within two days. TownPlace swiped my card for incidentals for $113. That was on the 13th of June. Today is June 24th,and I am still waiting for them to release my money. We never stayed in either room. I went to the front desk to ask for my money back. The guy at the front desk ran and hid. Leaving the cleaning lady to answer my questions. I wasn’t mad. I just wanted to get to the next hotel, and cool off. We were all miserable. This place failed my expectations in every way! I don’t know how they got such good reviews. It was super dirty, oId and outdated. We went to Hampton Inn, and Suites. They never let me down.

Everything went well with our stay at the property except the dog/cat hair all over the place.

Very disappointed about the pool is not open that my kids look forward it. Some burnt breakfast and coffee made me sick.

Very small suite for the price we paid. Sofa bed very uncomfortable

Marriott is losing its customer centricity, it seems to be a global phenomenon. It has become a common observation. I have had better experiences with other hotel chains atleast in this year.

Nice 2nd stay, breakfast was much more plentiful than we expected. Will highly recommend and will stay again. Thanks!

Everyone was very friendly and helpful. The space worked out great for us, but there was an underlying musty smell that required us to open the windows for fresh air. The beds were comfortable and in general everything was clean. I think maybe in the walls or carpeting may need some attention and please do not try to cover with toxic air freshener sprays. That makes it worse.

By far- this was one of the worst experiences in a hotel I have experienced and there is no way we would ever stay there again. I booked 2 rooms Check in at 6pm ( should have been at 3pm) took forever since most rooms were not yet cleaned. The Expedia pictures were NOTHING like the actual rooms. Light bulbs did not work. The hallways smelled like marijuana though the signs proudly posted "smoke free". The drinks in the 24/7 "shop" were warm. The biggest insult was when we arrived back from our event at 1 AM to find that there were no sheets on the bed- I walked across the parking lot AT ONE AM to the lobby to ask for sheets; the attendant handed me a pile of cloths- only to find out once I arrived back at the room- that she had handed me 13 pillowcases. This experience truly felt like a gut-punch- and I strongly discourage future guests from considering. I took documentation and plan to proceed further.

A little worn and dreary but clean and functional. Would have liked to have bed made and towels changed each day, but this is apparently hard to get in NC at any price and regardless of promises. I would stay there again if I had business nearby.

Traveled with German Shepard and she had a great time. Great place for pets. Everyone was very nice and helpful. Definitely will stay again.

Best place we have ever stayed at over all! Love this place on every way… it’s clean, had all the amenities in the kitchenette and entire room.. perfect location next to a greenway trail by Lk Crabtree for a walk or run. Will stay here every time we come back to Cary!

This place is gross. Multiple rooms smell like dog, bad, not just a hint of it. Multiple things are broken and bandaided together. Gym is the saddest little closet with an elliptical and a treadmill. Pool looks like a motel 6 roadside nightmare. If you want a Marriot experience, stay away. This place is 1.5 stars at best. I thought the other were being over dramatic but nope, they were telling the truth.

The employees were very friendly, The breakfast had a lot of options in the staff was very polite. The rooms are older. The pool was out of commission and it did not seem like they intended on fixing it. We have kids so that was the main draw to this hotel so it was definitely a disappointment

The place was clean, quiet and had a nice free continental breakfast. However, it’s dated, the elevators are very old. The amenities list a pool, but it’s out of order. The entire property has an old smell. It’s perfect for passing through town if you need to rest from a long drive. But it’s definitely not a vacation hotel.

We arrived late, and according to the thermostat in our room, the temperature inside was 91 degrees. The room was extremely hot. We propped open the door, turned off the heat, and turned on the A/C. We were too tired to complain and hoped the room would eventually cool. The A/C got the room down to 78, but it remained there for the night, and made sleeping very difficult. They switched our room for our second night, and took about $38 off our bill.
We stayed during Memorial Day weekend, and we were disappointed to find that the pool was not open, and was obviously not going to be open any time soon as it was in deplorable condition.
Breakfast was good both days. The staff was nice enough, but the facilities don't seem up to the Marriott name.

This is our 3rd time staying here. It's functional for sure, but is getting dated. The furniture, kitchen and bathroom areas are worn. The beds are great. I think it is minimum rather than super comfortable. It's clean with the exception of the furniture in the living room and bathtub area.

It was quiet and close to where i needed to be.

The only thing that we can give as a positive is that the bed was very comfortable. We assumed that a Marriott property would be better managed and more updated. This property is dingy at best and front desk help was poor.

Clean. Convenient location. Friendly staff. Quiet and comfortable.
