Do not recommend at all... location is no good, staff has an attitude, the beds are the worst. Very old hotel, they need to renovate

Прекрасен хотел, чисто и уютно място,препоръчвам го удобна локация и голям паркинг към хотела. Персонала е усмихнат и вежлив.

Good size rooms. Reasonably handy to get into City for price.

It's a couple of miles out of town, in a dead residential area, so it's ok if the public transport is still running but, if not, you're at the mercy of taxi drivers who make up the fares as they go along! Hotel itself is smart looking but a bit weary... the shower flooded the bathroom floor and there was no place to have a pleasant drink unless you're a smoker. On the plus side, it was very clean, the beds were comfortable, and it was not expensive.

Just a one night stopover with family. The immediate hotel vicinity resembles something of a tower block council estate, but there is a very convenient Billa supermarket a stones throw away. The standard rooms were a little disappointing in size and we had to change my mothers due to a smoky smell despite smoking being forbidden. The breakfast was a decent size with plenty of choices. Just a 5 minute walk to the nearest tram stop. Parking for 15 euros a night seemed rather pricy considering the location! Probably the 8th different place I've stayed in Sofia. This one does not remain on my future list though, had parking been free then I would keep it on my list.

We stayed as a rather old beer drinking group and it had all we needed, clean bed, shower, safe wardrobe, drawers. Very close to tram stop to the centre with trams every five minutes. Ten minute walk from bus stop for bus right into Vitosha mountains for a day trip to different bars.
Behind the hotel is a lively restaurant and bar used by local families. Lots of Bulgarian/Greek style dancing round the tables (think Zorba the Greek if you are old enough to remember that) there on the Saturday.

Hotel was comfortable and staff all pleasant but forum hotel is let down by location. I knew the hotel was set out of the city centre (and grabbing a taxi wasn't a problem) but there is little to do around the hotel. I found one restaurant within walking distance which was set on a very busy road. The hotel had its own restaurant but this was taken over on the first night to accommodate a wedding. Spa facilities were running at 50% too. Advice to travellers planning a trip to sofia - take plenty of small notes. No one has any change.

The room was very small, the air conditioning didn't work properly and the internet was slow and unobtainable and when we complained we were told by the IT Engineer that his was ok.

Excellent hotel and within easy reach of city centre. Staff were very friendly and always called us a taxi which only cost about 6lev to centre. We had two children ages 11 and 8 and they loved the stay. Plenty of choice on continental breakfast.

The hotel has old, but renovated building. It is located not far from the city center (around 20 min walk from the central park NDK). Hotel is easy accessable by public transport (tram and then metro). The area around is very quiet, no restaurants and noisy night life streets, so it would be perfect for business and family travellers.

Stayed 3 nights in August with 20 year old son. Hotel ok, twin room small but clean. Problem first night in that air conditioning unit leaked water all over my clothes in suitcase and soaked them. Good response from front desk - not only did they launder my clothes but they gave us a free upgrade to a 5 star room which was much bigger and nicer. Hotel rather old fashioned by western european standards. Good size fridge in room and kettle tho' only one mug so interesting tea-making with one of us using a drinking glass! Food in hotel restaurant poor, once was enough, but luckily next door to big Billa supermarket!

only thing i would not consider to be a 4 star would be the breakfast buffet, perhaps in high season there could be more choice.

Wow!!! After travelling for 25 hours from the USA, the Central Hotel Forum was a tremendous relief. When we pulled up at the curb all exhausted, we were immediately greeted with a busboy to help with our suitcases up the stairs to the lobby.
The room was small but neat. Nice big window made it feel warm and comfy. Bathroom is excellent. Restaurant downstairs had excellent breakfast choices in the buffet which was complementary. Dinner reasonable and tasty. Big Tauborg beer on draft for 2.2 levs was nice and quenching.
Anyway, 2 night stay was great and I will certainly come back to this hotel.
