My wife and I where in are room watching tv.When another guest of the hotel came into are room.The front desk of the hotel check them into are room.Then i got a phone call and I was asked who was in the room.My wife did not feel comfortable staying in the room though the night.So we will not be staying there any more

The hotel was very nice. Friendly people, very convenient location. Having a bar and the restaurant in the lobby was great. Would definitely stay here again.

We only stayed for one night when driving through towards North Carolina. It was perfect for what we needed. The room was spacious and clean. If we are in need of a hotel the next time we are in Fredericksburg we will definitely stay here again.

Staff were great. Friendly, helpful, and quick to help. Hotel felt worn and overdue for an update. Did not like the food options, which were also overpriced.

Our room had a non-working toilet on check in. Front desk sent a very nice housekeeper who jiggled around a bit and got it working and left--we were good for 2 flushes and it broke again. They told us no other rooms were available and didn't offer us another place to stay. Promised maintenance would come at 8am in the morning, but they were "late" and never came before we checked out (earlier than planned because we really needed a working toilet.) Promised that management would make it right with some refund, but they didn't call as promised, didn't follow through on another call, and on third call got only a voicemail. Hotels.com also tried and never could reach anyone either who could authorize some refund. I'll never use this hotel again.

So So hotel with staff who made up the rules for themselves. When checking in they told me that I had not paid for breakfast, when I had paid. Had to go back in the morning to talk to another staff member to get credit for breakfast which now costs $18.50

THE MENU WAS TOO HIGH PRICED. $20 FOR BREAKFAST BUFFET AND $10 FOR A CHILD. RIDICULOUS.

Just traveling thru, hotel was fine, have stayed there before, good restaurants and shopping in that area also not "right on" 95 so its safer. Would have liked a restaurant and bar but we went out.

I liked the location of the property and the indoor pool and jacuzzi was a very nice added bonus. The only drawback was that breakfast was not free.

Hotel was clean and modern. The pool, hot tub, work out room were all in good condition and useful. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Will definitely staff there again.

I had more hope for a Hilton property. The traffic noise was too loud disturbing my sleep, the walls were thin hearing everything on the floor, every door that shut sounded like it was slammed, and the refrigerator made constant noise. I tried running the fan or ac constantly to drown out the noise but it didn’t work. I checked in, was there for a couple hours, and left. Disappointed

It took 40 minutes, a trip down to the front desk, and ultimately a call to technical support to resolve the problem. In these days, wifi access t should be seamless.

Front desk staff was just okay. They were more focused on finishing conversations with one another than checking us in and they were supposedly checking in via text throughout the stay but I received one message in 15 hours. The room was very dirty, especially the beds and bathroom. Random hairs in the bedding and build up/mold in the tub and shower heads. We checked under the sheets and found severely stained mattresses. There were stains all over the headboard and wall, as well as the hallway carpet. This hotel needs a serious deep clean and renovation to continue charging the price they do. I would rather stay at another hotel in the area.

It had a place to relax after a long day.
Bad.
Door to room whistled all night with the air going right thru it. Bed was not comfortable and traffic buzzing by all night kept us awake.
Light in bathroom also buzzed.

Some small things kept this from being excellent- some rust in bathroom, no free breakfast, no special amenities, only one towel per person.

We were only there for one night and arrived quite late, so it's difficult to provide detailed feedback. But there was plenty of space and the beds were comfortable. I slept very well. No complaints!

We had move to different rooms because our first room had no hot water!! Next time I will check early about the water temp not late at night. Some if the staff was Ver Friendly others not so much….. maybe because it was over the Christmas holiday and they were pissed they had to work. Once we found a room with hot water everything went smoothly.

This hotel is near historic downtown Fredericksburg as well as major retail and restaurant chains. Seems very new and updated, clean and inviting.

This property is in the heart of a main shopping area where you can get pretty much anything you want or need. Target, Walmart, Wegmanns, dining, Barnes & Noble plus many chain stores are located right in this area so no need to travel far to get food or items. Hotel was clean however it's starting to show some wear. Breakfast is not included unless you pay for it in advance. This hotel is right on Route 95 and the noise from the highway may be a downside to those who are sensitive. My suggestion to all is to ask for rooms with an odd number as they face the front of the hotel rather than the back (which faces the highway and VERY noisy. I've stayed at Hilton Garden Inn many times and this one ranks lower on my list due to the noise level. Overall, if I had to stay here again I would specifically request a front facing room.
