Catching the first Toronto Maple leafs game and wanted to avoid the crazy traffic of downtown so chose the Hilton Garden Inn.
Location was great. So close to subway station. 35 minutes right to union station.
Rooms clean and spacious.
Front desk very helpful and friendly.
Will definitely stay here again.

We live in the GTA but needed to stay for 2 nights to be near a venue for a family wedding. Check in was pretty easy, however, our keys did not work the first time and had to go back and get another set. The room itself was large and clean and pretty much as described. The fridge was not running initially but had someone come right away to help us turn it on. Breakfast buffet was not bad for the price in my opinion. Unfortunately we didn’t really get to take advantage of all the amenities because we were there for a wedding but it’s a nice hotel if you’re just staying the night or 2.

We have stayed at other Garden Inn Hilton hotels and they were amazing. This location disappointed. For the price you pay, you expect more.

Customer service from staff. Staff were great.
Cons:
Broken elevator and the working one is very slow
Broken TV remote in room
Hot tub was like a warm bath
Beds incredibly springy and uncomfortable
The sheets were not properly on the bed. Nothing tucked in
Mattress covers were worn out and slide off the mattress
The fridge was very loud when it started to run, that at night we had to unplug it.
The heating system is outdated and is very loud.
Ice machine was broken on our floor
Terrible view from window - literally a wall.

Slide in the pool, but permanently closed which was a bummer.
We stay in hotels frequently for basketball tournaments and would not stay at this location again. I expected same quality as other Hilton Garden Inn locations.

It was nice and close to the subway station so easy access there.
The beds were not comfortable and pillows were not good.
Staff was friendly enough but nothing special.

Our stay was perfect other then the slide for the pool was closed down .. which is why we went , but that’s okay , then we couldn’t connect to the wifi at all over the 3 days they said their having troubles with it .
As for the slide it did say it was under construction when I booked months ago . We assumed it would be fixed months later

Fire alarm was doing some funny stuff at 1am. Not happy about that. Walls seem paper thin too.

Clean enough for two nights. Rooms were stuffy and smelled like food, people in hallways were loud late at night, pillows were as thin as paper, not comfortable at all.

We were very saddened by a television that didn’t work properly. The background sound overpowered the actors speaking so you couldn’t hear the words being spoken. And the television was so small.
The mattresses were hard and need replacing and pillows are so thin we needed to request extras.
There is no in room services for food or drink options and there weren’t even water bottles provided in the room to use the coffee machine as there was no breakfast option unless you paid. For the amount we paid for the room, I would expect some sort of complimentary breakfast.

Its clean and convenient place. Only i can hear the footsteps even it’s midnight. Overall i love the room and place.

When we arrived, we were disappointed that we didn’t get the room we had signed up for, which was a king bed room. When we went into the bathroom, there was safety pins on the sink, which obviously meant the bathroom had never been cleaned. There were several drawers open in the main areas of the room. We had to switch to another room since this room had not been cleaned!We were also surprised that there was no complementary breakfast in the morning. We have never stayed at a hotel that didn’t offer a complementary breakfast! Very disappointed in our stay!

I came back from a 16 hour work day to find water had covered the floor (leak from upstairs) and no one at the front desk seemed to care. I ended up leaving and booking another hotel after over an hour of waiting for someone to clean up. The folks at the front desk did not even write down my compliant and had to follow up days later to re explain what happened. Thankfully that manager was understanding.

The prive of this room we truly expected luckury. The pool area is extremely dirty the water was not clean, the floors were u kept and outdated tile. Our room had wholes in the walls from old fixtures, bathroom had no fan so small mold spots on ceilings area above smoke detector was black. We way over payed for the quality of the pool and room. Would not recomnd unless the price was matching the quality. The service staff were good no complaints there but work needs to be done on rooms.

Clean, quiet, comfy beds, excellent service by all staff (special shout out to the gentleman that does the early morning breakfast service!) we only needed one night as it was a stop after a late flight but we would definitely stay again. Too notch!

We travelled for Vaughan with our 3 kids! We absolutely love this hotel! It’s our number one choice when going to Toronto! We heard that they are going to be tearing down the hotel in order to build new condos which was shocking but fortunately they are building a new building a couple minutes away!
The pool is awesome and the water slide is working! It is open at weird hours as it is only when the lifeguard is available to show up!
Great stay overall! Fantastic price too!
