Most things were great. The only part that wasn’t was that the pool/hot tub and gym were all overtaken by kids the whole time. I know the hotel cannot control who uses what amenities when, but there was no monitoring of the situation. Most of the kids didn’t have parents around and they were loud and disruptive. They were at the pool until 11pm when it closed and came back at 6am when it opened. We tried both times to use the hot tub and it was full of kids both times. Also, the kids left a huge mess at night and it was not cleaned up the next morning. Cheetos all over the pool deck, moldy towels, etc so it was clear the hotel staff hadn’t cleaned in between. I suggested adult only hours at some point so couples or elderly people could use the amenities in peace.

The good: Common areas were modern, well kept, and clean. Fireplace and seating areas in the lobby were attractive. Staff were all very friendly and helpful. The full breakfast was a nice addition to the usual amenities: decent protein options, hot foods were indeed warm and fresh, good variety of cold cereals and baked items were offered. Room was mostly reasonable, however, housekeeping did miss a few things that led me to give one less star than I otherwise would have overall. The not-so-nice: Found a used, dirty towel on the floor behind the bedroom door against the wall. Could see popcorn from a previous guest underneath the dresser. There were handprints all over the bed headboard...in positions rather suggestive of how they got there. Ick. Maintenance issue: the plumbing in the shower was rather "loose"...when you turned water on/off, the faucet and fixtures all moved about a half inch. Also, you could see marks on the floor of the tub showing there once used to be some kind of a non-skid mat on the bottom that was no longer there. It could have used one. The tub was small, has a very slick surface, and a rather aggressive slope on the bottom that made footing a bit tricky. This was a real challenge for my senior citizen mom who was traveling with me.

It was a good stay. Enjoyed the service and cleanliness.

Family of three (15 yr old) had plenty of space. Clean and spacious. However, the extra pillows for the pull out bed were stained. I brought ones from home so no biggie. Mattress on pull out bed was thinnest I have seen. And we go to hotels often. Son was sore when he woke up. Should have just slept across the couch. Pool and hot tub were big and clean. I was disappointed with no decaf coffee except breakfast. No herbal tea or cocoa except decaf green tea, which I don’t like. Breakfast was not good. Burnt dry omelets. Ham swimming in oily water. Watery oatmeal. Oranges were so bad, I couldn’t tell they were oranges. Food seemed old. All bread products in baggies which was odd. Not a deal breaker. Would happily stay here again. We will just eat out! I could only see one luggage cart for the entire hotel. Never saw it all morning. Had to make multiple trips to car, including a big cooler. Order more carts, please. One elevator said weight limit 250 lbs or one person. In a hotel? Doesn’t seem safe. Just something I thought was strange.

Great room!

Rooms are worn and outdated. Furniture was scratched and chipped, couch was worn and sink holes on every seat. The dishes in the cupboard were sticky, and the dishwasher looked like it needed cleaning. Bed was comfy, lobby was fantastic and friendly staff. Would return and hopefully the room would not be as dingy as this time.

Breakfast was delicious

Room was not very clean and had a stale smoke smell even though the property was smoke free. The furnishings had large old stains and needed replacing. No iron in the room, went to ask for one at front desk and was told they had to wait for one to become available to bring to room. Only two luggage carts available in the entire hotel and they were rarely available as well.

It was quiet

Although the property was generally clean, quiet and safe overall, my entire floor (2nd floor) smelled strongly of marijuana our entire stay. The elevator smelled strongly of it as well. This was not the greatest thing to smell and be exposed to every single time we left our room. I appreciated the pet policy. I was disappointed to see many others did not clean up after their pet and I ended up stepping in one of these messes when out at dark with my own dog. I also had to call the front desk and request a hairdryer because there was not one in our room. The breakfast was good, definitely above average for a hotel breakfast. The beds were comfortable and the room was nice and clean. I would definitely stay here again but if it smelled like marijuana again, I would definitely be contacting the front desk!!

Room smelled of pet urine. Mattress in pull out bed was also dirty and smelled horrible. Hotel agreed to change this mattress but forgot to do so for two days. This change did not resolve the horrible odor of the room. Moreover, hotel gave one roll of toilet paper for 3 people for one week and did not clean the room until the third day. Only tiny towels provided for the indoor pool. I’m shocked that this was a Marriott Property. Felt more like a Motel 8.

We loved this place. The staff is great. Everything was professional, and clean and beautiful. We had one night here from a 7 day vacation and im glad we stayed here last. It was by far our favorite place!

I didn't read the fine print to see that they charge $3.00 a day for parking. What a bunch of nonsense! This is a suburban location, not a downtown location so this is just a gratuitous charge. I stayed at the other Residence Inn in Toledo at the beginning of my trip and that is also a suburban location and they don't charge for parking; in fact this is the first time I've stayed at any Residence Inn in a suburban location and had to pay for parking. Also, the water pressure was extremally weak both for the bathroom sink faucet and the shower faucet, and the water took a while to get warm. The smoke alarm had an intermittent flashing light that disturbed my sleep; the other Residence Inn I stayed at in Toledo did not have this annoying type of smoke alarm. The people working there are kind and efficient, and the hotel seemed very clean; those are two positives.

The room was so nice and big. The pool and hot tub were great. Breakfast was wonderful with tons of options. The free cookies daily was also a very nice added touch. It was clean. And quiet. And perfectly located. I would easily stay here again!

Everybody, and everything ( accept lack of phone ports to charge phone) was SUPERB! My family will only be using Residence Inn locations from now on.

Found out they are now charging $3 for parking and will be added to the bill. I'm here about every two weeks for business and I will be staying somewhere else in two weeks.

This was a close to home stay for us. We enjoyed the hot tub and pool, both clean and well kept. Staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast was amazing! We will be back again.

Everyone & everything was fabulous! Had an issue with kids stomping continually the first night, some with a customer service lady, she went up to speak to them but it did no good but the problem was addressed. Would not hesitate staying there again.

We had a great stay here. Quiet area with plenty of places to grab food or shop nearby. We would definitely stay again!

Honestly overall my experience has been okay. Check in was smooth. First room I was checked into, all 4 windows were open. I tried to close the window and the glass popped out. Every window was missing pieces of the frame. When I called the front desk the young woman came up to help close them and quickly realized they were broken and immediately moved me to a different room.

Everything was great! No towels by the pool was the only thing negative to say.

Always stay here when in town. Great front desk team and housekeeping.

It need to be specified that when booking through Expedia I will have to pay double. Expedia took out the $200 for the night of my stay when I booked immediately when I got to the hotel I had to pay $200 again. So I had to pay $400 total for one night.
