Room was on the 3rd floor, person above me might as well have been in the room with me. I could hear the television and them clomping around from 1-4 am.

Chose Fairfield as it was an up-tic from what we normally chose when doing this trip expecting with a higher price a better experience but didn't have it.
The AC unit didn't work, it only pumped heat.
The cheap rolled wall paper had shrunk, exposing unfinished wall and was peeling.
No food choice for early risers.
A 2nd time that Hotels.com has indicated availability of a handicap accessible room, we chose it/book it/pay for it and when we get to the facility they do NOT have any, 1st time none existed in the building. Going to stop using Hotels.com and start using other tools.

Clean, quiet but the room needs updating I.e.: there are no USB charging ports anywhere in the room.

Noisy rooms. Constant thumping overhead. Squealing fans for ventilation. Person preparing breakfast was lazy and in my opinion poor job. No noise insulation in the walls. Staff seem rude about booking through hotels.com instead of directly through them

Hotel needs new mattresses, the king bed was so saggy that I could not get a good nights sleep. The Italian restaurant next door was outstanding

I booked last minute and didnt check the dates and they were able to fix it for me no problem which was hreatly appreciated since we were exhausted

Nice clean, safe hotel with outstanding staff, which is difficult to find in 2023. Utilized the hotel as our base camp while we explored the beautiful area that is the Shenandoah Valley. Some great wineries nearby as well. Rooms were a bit small, fine for just the two of us. Will definitely consider staying here again in the future.

The Hotel is very nice as well as the staff BUT We actually only slept for 2 hours on a Bare Mattress because the sheets were dirty with Fresh stains of bright red blood!!!

The hotel staff went above and beyond to make my daughter's wedding night extra special. The newlyweds were treated like royalty!

Stayed here 4 nights while visiting Shenandoah National Park. It was great. Great complimentary breakfasts, with a wonderful Italian restaurant next door. Convenient to whatever you want to do.

Becky the lady at the front desk, is such a breath of fresh air. From her fairy hair so her personality she just sparkles. She answered all of my questions thoroughly and professionally as well as entertained my 4yr olds request to practice balancing in one foot with such ease. It's unusual to find people that love their job and such a pleasure when you do. Dont lose this one she's a gem!

The hotel was right off 81 and very convenient for our trip from Upstate NY to Durham, NC. There were 2 very convenient restaurants within steps from the hotel. The staff was great and the rooms were very clean. Looked like the bathroom had been updated not that long ago. We were not thrilled with the mattress. Very hard and not comfortable. Also, our air condition had a fan that sounded like a jet engine being warmed up before the motor for the air conditioner kicked in very loudly. And the unit kept kicking in every 5-6 minutes. Upside - We were up and out early because neither my husband nor I had a very good night’s sleep but it got us on the road early and home earlier than planned! To be fair, we did not complain to staff about the air conditioner because we did not want to switch rooms after driving all day and settling in. That’s on us.
