Very friendly, helpful, welcoming staff, lovely food, comfortable room

TV equipment in room didn’t work, otherwise ok stay. Carpets are held together by tape and not worth of room charge. Not great value for money.

I stayed at the hotel for one night and was very pleased with my stay. The lift was broken when I arrived so they took me up in the service lift, which gave me a different view of the stadium which was great. The staff were really great at bringing my takeaway order up to me. The gym and swimming pool is next door rather than in the hotel itself, but it has great facilities and was a really great addition to my stay. The steamroom and Sauna was very relaxing. The hotel is a short bus ride my local train stations and tube stations.

I appreciated the hotel had change of brands during our stay which couldn't be helped, but when we first arrived the suite wasn't made up with the sofa bed, and I asked for no feather bedding which wasn't removed either. We did ask reception and they had this changed, but it would have been great if we didn't need to remind them.
The room was chilly, and had to have the heating up full to ensure if felt a cosy stay.
There was not much choice for the evening dinner, and would have liked more choice of either another restaurant or food choices.
The swimming pool had no access from inside the hotel, and you had to leave to go outside to the pool and back. It's not great, when its raining, and cold!
Staff I couldn't fault, they were very kind and they didn't show a big change in hand but could have done a lot of changes before our stay!

Perfect location at the stadium. Room a little tired and obviously bar prices incredibly expensive. Breakfast also incredibly expensive… we didn’t bother

I thought staff were amazing. Chairs in room can use updating. Very worn out and not very clean. But liked everything else

Room wasnt set correctly for the booking for three people.
Bathroom was clean on the surface, though very aged and tired with mould patches.
Chocolates left on the bed looked like they had been trodden and sat on- dont bother.
Sadly wasnt worth the money and could have stayed elsewhere for cheaper and much nicer.

My family and I had a short but pleasant stay, the service was wonderful, the rooms, the pool, the spa and the staff were very pleasant. The breakfast was presented with a great variety of products with very good quality which made the stay enjoyable. In conclusion, we plan to return very soon

We had asked for no feathers in our pillows and duvets, however there were so we had to move rooms.
Breakfast was good but issues with certain items running out and the coffee machine was really hard work.
We were woken up in the night when it rained and water was dripping (outside) loudly down onto metal slats!!

Over for the Rugby at Twickenham Stoop . Nice to stay close to Twickenham stadium. Staff were friendly , polite and very helpful. Must be great to stay here for 6 nations games.

Excellent service at christmas, 10 out of 10. Thank you Marriott.

Great! Just loses points due to extra effort for the extra effort in walking from the train station connections. If this is not a problem to you; highly recommended.

Check in was incredibly slow - there was a long queue and they didn’t have all the check in desks open. Also, one of the staff seemed more interested browsing on his phone. When we went to our room, it was a very long walk from the lift, which isn’t great if anyone has mobility issues. The room had a broken tv and a soaking wet carpet. When we rang about it we had our room changed, but it took the reception staff a long time to come up to the new room, so we had repacked, walked there and still had to wait quite a while before she appeared, sauntering and browsing on her phone with no urgency whatsoever. The new room also had a broken tv - we reported it and were told someone would come and fix it, no one ever came. The new room also had a broken bedside reading light, and the floor of the shower was uneven and spongey - the tiles moved when you stood on them and it looked like the floor had been repaired using plasticine. When used, the shower just leaked huge amounts of water all over the floor requiring all the spare towels on the floor to soak it up. We ordered room service of two starters (no snack items on menu). It took over 1 hr & 2 chasers for it to arrive and we were trying to cancel it when it finally arrived. Everything tasted fake and chemically and it was very expensive - they charged £8 delivery and didn’t even bring two sets of cutlery, they brought one we had to share. The staff were disinterested - they didn’t even ask how our stay was. I wouldn’t stay again

From check in to check out the staff were highly professional. We were there for four days and when I come back I will be booking with Marriot

The hotel is fabulous & our suite was amazing but unfortunately the food let it down.
Our evening meal in the ‘Formation’ bar was so disappointing. The starter was good then the mains came out (eventually) & we could barely eat them as they were either red hot or tasted like they’d been reheated several times as they were hard & over cooked. Our son actually burnt his mouth on his chips.
Breakfast was very disappointing. Items were coming out in dribs & drabs & we had to keep asking for various different things as they weren’t out & visible.
We used the leisure facilities next door at the Virgin leisure centre & only the pool was open unfortunately we couldn’t use the spa area as they were broken & out of bounds.
We would stay again but just hope the food issues were better as it really took the shine off it.

After reading many negative comments, I didn’t know what to expect, from the minute we set foot into hotel we had to question what was their agenda? The staff in all parts of hotel were simply amazing, the food was fantastic and the rooms were class, not outdated like many think, and we have stopped in many 5 star hotels in uk. We will definitely be back

Uninspiring reception area, room average, annoying doors to bathroom which had to be kept closed whenever the main door was being opened, breakfast reasonable

Food not great. Forgot to clean our room one day. Not enough towels. TV didn’t work in our first room. Parking too far away

Itwas generally a good stay as staff was
responsive. The bathroom needs to be updated as it has two interlocking doors on bathroom and shower head wlth little water pressure. The breakfast is outstanding and
delicious. There are lots of choices for
breakfast and it also stays open to 11; A.M.
The hotel is isolated and there are not really
any restaurants or stores within walking
distant. There is a restaurant at the hotel which serves good food from a limited menu. The hotel sits close to a giant Rugby
stadium and this may present problems
on weekends when teams play at the stadium. The hotel is about 30 minutes
driving time from airport and about 48 minutes from central London. It was a good
experience.

Was promised a refund and cancellation when I called 10min after the reservation was made provided hotels.com send an email which was done but the hotel didn’t honour the promise. They wasted my time and long distance minutes for nothing.

Nice stay, hotel starting to get a little tired. Service was good and room comfortable.
4.0
The room we stayed had good beds, decent size love really big windows, but they need black out curtains. In London, sunrises as early as 5:30ish in the morning and day light stays longer. Light comes thru even with fully closed. Unable to sleep slightly longer. Nothing other than Wimbledon is close by.

Very nice hotel with friendly staff
Parking available and free but requires a 5 minute walk
Fabulous gym
Room are getting a little outdated

Although the food selection was excellent, it was only lukewarm, even though we were in for breakfast 30 minutes after it opened.
Check in on arrival seemed to take a long time even though there was no one in front of us

it was the standard marriott way - professional, friendly and happy to help attitude

Unreal from start to finish. Was perfect from the word go.

Excellent hotel. Excellent staff. Excellent experience.
4.0
Smart hotel on the whole, great facilities. The mattress has seen better days and the shower head was loose so sat at 1m high - not ideal at 6ft! Expect better from Marriott.

Flies in room, rooms could do with some maintenance

Shower has mold everywhere
