The property is older, pieces in room falling apart. Clean though, friendly staff, breakfast was fine.

Enjoyed the pool very much. Didn’t like that the bar at the pool wasn’t always open. Didn’t like that there wasn’t any other restaurants near by to eat at.

The pool is a great attraction. Lots of lounges and a pool bar. Two out of the three in our party found the pillows in our room uncomfortable. Great air conditioning. The breakfast buffet would be improved by moister pastries, and a larger selection. The dining room interior is amazing! The Montecito is on a one way 3-4 lane road, and a sign to the entrance to the hotel facing the way we were coming from would have been appreciated (there is a very nice sign on a low wall facing away from oncoming traffic, so not very helpful when navigating a new city and trying to find the hotel).

Lovely hotel. Near to Sofia airport. Rooms very large with fridge. Please note no kettle & you can request a hairdryer at reception. Fantastic pool open 9am -7pm but it is a public pool and gets very busy at weekends with the locals. On site restaurant was lovely there are very limited amenities in the area. Taxi to sofia about £5. We had a great stay and will be back. If tou just want to relax by the pool its an excellent choice. Pool snack bar very cheap but english is very limited!

The hotel was very clean. The breakfast was great and was included.It was quite even next to a major highway. Close to the airport. We will use it again for sure.

I liked the location, away from downtown, so less traffic. The property is very dated though, good value, but very old, but clean.

The room was ok but had a very bad smell when I walked in? I believe they knew about this as the window was left wide open. Staff were friendly and helpful as for the facilities I was not in the hotel much other than to sleep

Hotel was good for a night before an early flight. In the description it said that there is a free area shuttle but at the hotel said they discontinued the service. It would've been nice to know they did since there is no public transit close by. The airport shuttle was functioning though (10 leva to airport).

The hotel has a good swimming pool and sunbathing area! The food is of good value and above average standard, be ware they are big portions. The breakfast is ok and done what I wanted it to, coffee and toast. Be ready for the restaurant decor----WOW I WOULD STAY AGAIN FOR SURE

The hotel has a very convenient location outside the city close to a major road, two big shopping malls and to the airport. It has free parking which makes it my favorite choice when I have to do something in Sofia and do not want to stay in the inner city.

Chose this hotel for our last night in Bulgaria with car as it is an easy drive to Sofia airport and an easy to drive from Sofia town. Hotel has free good parking. Decoration is fairly over the top. TV fine and we slept well. Wifi a bit flaky but mostly okay. Breakfast okay. Unable to use the pool as weather was cool and rainy on our afternoon at the hotel. Good for a one night stay.

Installations are OK, yet the staff really needs a lesson on how to be kind and friendly to the guests. Not even after insisting on greeting the people, would they return a "good morning". Breakfast, well, bring your own, as things tend to run out and the person in charge will just shrug and show his disapproval of something through a very negative face. No efforts on many of the staff's side to make your stay pleasant and much to my surprise, we found only one that was capable of talking in English, the others would not be able to safe their lives if it depended on it. At the dinner table we had the plates "loosely dropped on the table" to not say thrown. I went to the front desk and complained about the lack of anything resembling courtesy, also she did not run to see if anything could be improved. Not returning to this hotel, although the pool is very nice.

Excellent big pool. Nice big room. Breakfast is not worth getting up for. The bar is not really a bar.

The restaurant and lobby made me think of the czarist days of Russia. For all of their elegance they stay just this side of being tacky. The beds were comfortable, and the room was very nicely decorated. Beautiful bathroom, although it always had a sewer odor. The included breakfast was always cold, and not very appetizing. Dinner in the evening was good and reasonably priced. The restaurant has interesting tented dining areas with transparent walls to keep out cold and rain. They are also the smoking area. The hotel is quite a few km out from the center of town. We found that the 204 bus could be taken from the street behind the hotel and taken right to downtown for 2 lev, or about 1 euro.

10 minutes from the airport. Good hotel with good restuarant facilities
