By mistake I booked a double, they didn't want to refund anything and they didn't want to give me the key to the second room either.
Once they had charged me a deposit and then made me pay for the full 2 nights, to give me back half and I have received no response from hotels or Holiday Inn, I will not stay there again, I will not use hotel.com either, never they help nothing

Their continental breakfast has probably been the best as far as quality and variety. I would recommend this hotel.

We traveled to Uvalde for the eclipse. I had 15 rooms for friends and family. I spent 6 nights there and everyone else spent 5 nights. The staff was amazing! The front desk staff, the people cleaning the rooms, and the woman that took care of breakfast. All incredible! Holiday Inn corporate needs to study this location and use it as the model for all!

Great hotel but the mattress was a little hard

Main reason I booked at this hotel was because of the pool. I had my 3 grandchildren with me. When we got there we were told the pool had been closed down for sometime due to maintenance... this was VERY disappointing considering that I paid almost double for the room than at a hotel with no pool. Have you ever been locked up in a hotel room with 3 young boys 10,8,& 6? We were told we could use the pool across the 5 lane highway.... really???

the pool is not the same pool that's on the website. the pool was very small and the spa wasn't even open for us to enjoy. The rooms were nice though

The staff were always pleasant and willing to help. The breakfast buffet was always fresh. I would highly recommend to anyone passing by, close to the Walmart and and restaurants in the area. Thank you Holiday Inn your hospitality was genuine and outstanding!

Like most places help was in training and needed instruction. Pool was not usable due to cleaness and there is no hot tub as advertised.

Full of DPS Troopers that go to sleep at 8am and bang on your door because your TV is too loud.. which it wasn't but they seem to think they own the place !! Walls are thin at the Holiday inn.

No parking up front, dim lighting in the back. People don’t know how to park, staff should make sure people park correctly, and not utilize two spots, to ensure others can park in the well lit areas, as opposed to the back, where it’s dim and dark!

The two complaints I have are that when they cleaned our room they didn’t give us any towels. And it was noisy all night doors slamming constantly we were right across from the gym.

I will start with what was good. The bed was very comfortable and the breakfast was very good, with a good selection of items. For the negative, check in took a while as we waited in line with one reservation ahead of us. We had enough linens in the room, but only were given one bar of soap and the pump bottle of shower gel remained empty both days we were there. The second day we were there we had to go ask for toilet paper as they left us with only one half roll. We had asked if they had a hot tub when making the reservations and were told they did. When we got there, the hot tub was completely out of order. When we asked the girls at the front, they thought it was no big deal and just said the guy has got to come out sometime and fix it. They never apologized for it, they just walked away. That was a bummer for us.

Decent location and good price. The breakfast was also nice with warm biscuits and eggs. The coffee was way better than most hotels which is usually watered down.
