Heater/AC was noisy and didn't work correctly. Pillows were old and tired. Curtains were torn. Desk clerk was no friendly ... in fact a little grumpy

Check in was way too long after a day on the road. I had to give all my information even though I had already booked and paid. The room smelled like mist and the room was humid when I arrived. It was loud the entire night with people coming in and out and the noise from the road. Because of all this, I only got two hours of sleep before having to get on the road for another day of driving. I would not recommend this hotel to my worst enemy.

I stay here quite often as I travel for work. The staff is always very friendly. However there is a staff member who often messes up the key cards. If you stay for more than one night you may find yourself down at the front desk getting your card coded to your room for the remainder of your stay. This last stay he charged my card for the cost of the room only for one night when my booking was for three. So when I went to check out the front desk charged my card for the full stay and not just the reminder of the stay. It was a bit of a mess. Had I not caught it I may have paid for an extra night. Aside from the staff member who doesn't do check in well everything else is nice enough. The breakfast kitchen staff is friendly. They are also very helpful when you dump syrup off your waffle onto the counter and the floor. I wish they would get bigger plates for the waffles. I think it would help avoid this type of mess. The gal that helped me clean up, told me it happens all the time. She might have just been being nice. They also do a nice job of keeping the breakfast foods filled for all of the guests. The bed is a bit hard. It works well for a night or two but if you are staying longer you might want to spend some time in the hot tub and maybe get some sleeping aids. The carpets in the halls are well worn is places but they are kept clean. The tvs have several HDMI spots to hook a roku into and the wifi is sufficient. Overall this is a pleasant stay and staff is friendly.

Now charging for our dog… $25. Ridiculously expensive for a small, very clean dog. Rooms getting very tired & need a good detailed cleaning. Good breakfast & service staff. We have gone there 2/x yr for many years & will re-think next trip south.

We really enjoyed our stay . I’m sure La Quinta is one of the best choices in Ely .. The staff were friendly and breakfast was good . Our room was roomy and comfy. The area was pretty with snow on the mountains.

This facility is our go-to when traveling through to AZ. The facility is clean and convenient. Slept well but woke up to no shower. The handle fell off and there was no water. Front desk was informed. Due to time constraints on travel we had to leave without showers. Lesson learned--we will always check that everyone works before settling in. A little more time on facility maintenance details.

We stayed one night traveling from Idaho to California. Great location-quiet, felt safe but was still close to the highway. Very clean, comfortable beds, great staff. Breakfast was a good selection with hot eggs and fresh biscuits and gravy, waffles, multiple coffees to choose from, multiple creamers, muffins were very good, bagels, cereal, etc. Breakfast area was large and comfortable. The indoor pool and spa were well-maintained and fitness room was small but had an elliptical, exercise bike, treadmill, weight machine, and floor mats. We would stay here again.

Nice hotel, comfortable stay. At the front desk working the evening shift there is a shorter woman working who ignored me and was rude but the tall gentleman that came out later was great and checked me in. The woman never did acknowledge me.

Just one negative for this hotel: the Fold out sofa bed was in terrible condition. Mattress was very very thin and compacted. It was difficult to open the sofa bed and the location was not safe because when the bed was open, it partially blocked the bedroom door. King and queen beds were excellent. Bathroom was exceptionally clean. Breakfast was okay: egg and cheese omelet, biscuits, bread and small pastry choices, fresh fruit, cereal, some mini yougurt, etc

Breakfast was the highlight of the stay. Friendly staff did a great job with that. I reserved a handicapped accessible 2 room suite. Turns out these rooms are only located on the second floor of a building with no elevator. Is this even legal inn2023? When. I complained to the staff and explained how severely handicapped I am they still wouldn’t do anything. They did offer to rent me another room at full price after I had already paid for their nicest room when I reserved it. Unbelievable. My choice were to lose the 209 bucks I had already paid and go somewhere else. Or I guess I could have just got up out of my wheelchair and flew to the upstairs room. I haa as e stayed here numerous times. Never had an experience like this.
