Everyone was so nice the receptionist who checked me in her name is Nikki she is the sweetest an explains everything to you. The young lady I believe her name was Kristi who cleaned room was so nice. The lady who does the breakfast is also always so sweet. Every time I go an that’s been for many years she has always been the same such a beautiful person greets everyone with good morning. Very good place I wouldn’t stay anywhere else when I come to Louisiana to visit family.

Cons:The lobby smelled of cigarette smoke, the elevator jumped a few times while we were on it so we started taking the stairs. No pool. Our room- the bathroom was not very clean- the floor needed to be swept and the toilet needed to be cleaned. Pros:the staff members were nice, breakfast was good, we were able to check in early.

Stayed in a room close to the desk. The team was attentive, I could see my car in the parking lot right out of the window, the breakfast lady was awesome and super helpful, and I was able to visit the gas station out of the back door within a 1 minute walk. After staying at other places near NOLA I will definitely be back. Easy to jump over the bridge and get to Nola without GPS so super convenient for us. Was it the best nicest place ever? No but it was perfect for what we needed, a roof, a bed, and a hot shower with free breakfast. PERFECT for us.

Nicki from the front desk was absolutely awesome and helpful. We had a great check in experience and stay. The beds were also super comfortable.

This hotel is very nice and clean. My only problem is that I could easily hear noises from the room next to mine, which kept me from getting a good sleep.

The staff was very nice and my wife upgraded me to a queen size Suite 205. The room was nice, but there was a dead roach on my bathroom floor. Everything else was fine.

The room can get some upgrades to appliances like a modern microwave and refrigerator. Nothing wrong with the beds, I just don't like huge mirrors as headboards. It makes it inconvenient to sit write up resting on the headboard.

Well kept property. Room and linens clean. Beds comfortable to sleep in. Staff very friendly and helpful. The breakfast hostess during my stay was outstanding. Will stay there again if needed.

Check in was great. Guy at desk was great. We booked a queen bed. Definitely was not a queen. It was probably the size of a full. It was very miserable and the pillows are so full you might as well sleep sitting up. I will not be back for this reason. Still in pain. Lol.

The only positive of this hotel is the service. The gentleman who checked us in last night and the lady working at breakfast this morning took helpful to a whole new level. They were wonderful. The negatives…The window seat in the room and almost all of the towels had stains. The walls were super thin and people were partying most of the night so we didn’t get much sleep. When we tried to call the front desk to ask them to deal with the noise, the room phone didn’t work. My husband had to call from his cell.

Nice hotel with clean rooms. Staff very friendly and helpful. During my 2 day stay; the 3rd floor hall needed to be vacuumed and vending machine didn't work. Early mornings; several staff members in lobby and breakfast area complaining amongst themselves and fixing/eating breakfast with hotel guest. Hotel needs a separate area for staff to congregate and eat.

I never give 5 stars bc I feel there is always grounds for improvement. Only complaint I had was how poorly the furniture and chairs were kept they were so stained. As for the employee by the named Nikki she was excellent, and a very dedicated employee

I would stay again just to interact with the desk staff. Nikki was absolutely a joy. We had several family members and a newborn baby so we gathered in the lobby to play games and scrapbook and Nikki was always there with a smile and getting us paper, pens, scissors, whatever we needed. The morning staff was so helpful with our dog. We really enjoyed the drive-up daiquiri at the connecting property (we walked there). We will definitely stay there again on our next trip to Pearl River.

Stayed over night while traveling, Staff couldn't have been any nicer . The room was a bit small for the price , but had everything one would need for a overnight stay . Room was clean and neat , shower was everything one would want . I Would stay again if in the area.

My was great. Check in was smooth although my reservation dates got mixed up (not Microtel's fault). Kelly was very friendly and helpful when checking in. The room wasn't the cleanest there was a few issues, but it was late at night and we just wanted to rest. Overall i would give it an 8/10
