Very happy stay here. Great location for Kew Gardens and the National Archives (both a short walk away) and the Thames just up the road for boat rides up to Westminster.
Very comfortable bed (slept like a log for two nights).
Food was excellent. Breakfast there was a wide variety of choice and for a very pleasant change from the usual these days, there was a menu to choose from rather than the same old, same old boring buffet. (For that reason alone, I would stay here again). The full English was top notch ,as was the eggs benedict and the haddock and eggs.
Evening time, not a massive menu but the quality of the lamb pie, the steak, the chicken liver parfait to name but three was as excellent as the breakfast.
Plenty of beers on offer and great selection of whisky.
Also, although we stayed mid-week, each night the whole pub had a good number of people eating and at the bar which created a lovely atmosphere.
Finally, all the staff we interacted with were friendly and helpful, especially so the breakfast manager and there is also very convenient parking on site.
In summary, I highly recommend The Coach & Horses.

Arrived and was greeted to a lovely receptionist.
Room was chic and cosy. Nice bathroom with large bath.
Damage to some of the carpets but I wouldn’t mark down for this.
Lovely restaurant and pub below with lots of food and drink choices and reasonable prices.
Great location and shortish walk to Richmond if you like getting some steps in.
Definitely will be returning here for another stay in the future.

From the moment we walked in until when we left, we were meet by friendly staff at every step. The room was well laid out with the mini-bar and other goodies. All in all, made for a very pleasant stay.

The staff were very helpful and friendly. Nothing was too much trouble. Parking at the hotel was a bonus in Kew. Breakfast was good plenty of choice. Would like to see toast and marmalade offered. Tea was served randomly from conventional pots to bags in the cup with no saucer? Seemed understaffed at times. However I would return as it has a very friendly atmosphere and very convenient.

Lots of extra touches in the room with the coffee machine, variety of teas, cookie and fruit. A special mention to Alicja on reception…great customer service….Thank you Alicja.

We stayed at the Coach and horses because we were visiting Kew Gardens. The entrance (Elizabeth gate) is only 5 minutes walk away. The staff are lovely, knowing it was the wife's birthday they left a card in the room for when we arrived. Very clean. The food was good. A bit noisy due to being in the flight path for Heathrow Airport. The river Thames is not far away and you can walk along the river into Richmond. There is secure parking under the hotel but spaces are limited. Definitely stay there again.

What a perfect 1st stop for a visit to London! Kew Garden is a few steps away, lovely restaurants and all walkable. Very clean rooms! Staff, so helpful and friendly. Would stay here again!

The room we had was comfortable and very quiet. We were on the ground floor in a group of rooms whch are some way distant from bars and restaurants. The room was a good size and clean.
The staff were very welcoming and helpfull. And the pub was good too!

Staff was super helpful on helping us with walking directions and bus services. Room was clean and comfortable. Right next to Kew Gardens and the pier to catch a boat to Hampton Court. One negative: Breakfast food was not very good. That said, would definitely recommend this hotel.

We booked the place because we had a birthday party to attend to in the Kew neighborhood. Came right on time for the WC rugby game and Sunday roast.
Already at the check in we got the “vibe” of the place. The positivity was overwhelming. We stayed in room 17 with the windows to the back. The room was spacious and the bed was king size and perfect. We stayed only two nights but could have stayed longer. The closeness to the path alongside river Thames, Kew gardens, Richmond etc was all an extra.
Taxi ride to LHR was about 20min. We can highly recommend staying @thecoachandhorses Like they say you get a bang for your buck

This is our second stay at the Coach and Horses, and once again we found a pleasant, helpful staff, charming rooms and good food. And all walking distance to Kew Gardens and the Kew Gardens underground station! The beds are comfortable and the rooms are surprisingly quiet and peaceful for such a busy location! We highly recommend.

We will certainly stay here again when we are in the area. The hotel faces onto Kew Green and is half way between Kew Gardens District line and Kew Bridge railway stations, with frequent buses and a night bus if required.
Staff were friendly, helpful and efficient especially the lovely outgoing Polish receptionist (sorry we didn't catch her name).
The room we had was on the 2nd floor at the front of the hotel, but the secondary double glazing cut out any road or beer garden noise perfectly. There was a very quiet and effective air conditioning unit and a lovely comfortable bed. The room and bathroom were very clean, as were the cups and glasses. The coffee machine worked well and the tea bags high quality. The fresh milk in the room fridge was very welcome, and there were a good variety of products in the mini bar.
Breakfast was excellent with a variety of high quality products available and attentive, friendly staff. The bread was exceptionally tasty, but as it was crusty the knives struggled to cut it easily. That is perhaps our only complaint!

Ideally located for us as we wanted easy access to Kew Gardens. Very friendly and attentive staff, good restaurant and breakfast, a very pleasant stay. We will likely return. Thank you very much.

First of all I must compliment ever single one of the staff members we met during our stay this weekend. From the lady who checked us in, the bar staff who served us, our gorgeous Ukrainian waiter from the restaurant, the cleaning staff and the lady who checked us out. Everyone seemed to love their jobs and made us so very welcome. Thank you. You were all outstanding. We had a great night sleep and room was very comfortable and quiet! (Room 11) If I was to make any suggestions, I would say the rooms and hotel just needs a bit of TLC in some areas. Our room was a bit tired and it really wouldn’t take much to make the little amendments that need doing. BUT this did not affect our stay and we would definitely consider visiting again. Thank you.

The most friendly staff, we had a small problem with room and the receptionist took complete responsibility for resolving without fuss, fantastic service.
Comfortable room and bed, everything we needed for a great break. Free underground car park, great location.

The staff were excellent looking after us, verry responsive and helpful, food excellent. The lift was poor and needs the electronics upgraded or this will constantly fail.
I was a lift desighner in my day.

Efficient, welcoming staff, good ambience, excellent lunch (although ÂŁ8 for a simple cheese and tomato sandwich off menu in the evening was pretty expensive). Room warm, quiet and well-provided
