There was a minor inconvenience at check-in as the staff on site was overwhelmed with a large number of guests checking in at the same time, but they handled it with class! I commend Ish at the reception desk and the manager in duty, Jofed Fontanilla, for their hospitality, class and very helpful assistance. The staff was very nice, courteous and charming. Our room was clean, as was the hotel site, and the shuttle service to town is very well run. I strongly recommend this charming resort.

The staff at Mövenpick are lovely and accommodating. The room is standard. The common areas are a bit dated and for the price point would have expected a higher standard of quality. The service at the checkin/checkout and the spa areas were great. The restaurants seemed to be understaffed and the quality of food was not at the level we expected of a resort of this calibre.

Was nice beautiful beach staff very sweet but food not so good the Italian restaurant not good salty pizza burnt fish and over priced and slow .amd pasta soggy I don’t like to leave bad reviews but they need fix there food service other that amazing hotel .

Resort is wonderful, room was very clean and had plenty of amenities. The only grip was the bed frame was a bit unbalanced so whenever you sat down the frame would creak and pound the floor.

No hot water for the shower. Otherwise good facilities. Out of stock on many wines. The Italian restaurant was out of tomatoes! Seriously?!

Great beach, lovely beach cocktail bar, great breakfast, relaxing stay.

Hotel service is excellent but I didn’t like our island tour with the hotel. I paid 10k for two persons but I was not able to explore all the beaches and do the snorkeling because of the weather. Our tour guide was excellent but did not enjoy the tour because it was raining. The tour was for 3 hrs. We bought our own food, One hour was spent for eating, 10 minutes for snorkeling and rest is just waiting for our ride way back to the hotel.

The property was so very peaceful, clean and the staff was amazing. The food was ok. just 2 restaurants were avail besides the bar that serves food from the 2 restaurants.

Rooms are spacious and clean, however the fridge is empty, they leave a one liter of a bottle water for you which won't fit to the fridge so u can't have cold water unless u ask ice from the roomservice. Only brandless ground coffee is available in the room. For amenities like slippers, bath rope you have to ask. The ac unit is literally the balcony, so if you want to sit down and enjoy your balcony, u will be listening to the noise of the ac unit and bare the heat coming out of it. The hotel is somehow always noisy because of the kids or the noise of the genny. Food selection is alrite, service is fine, friendly and smiley staff members. Check-in and check out were smooth, we have been offered early breakfast because we were checking out around 5.00 a.m., but somehow, they forgot about it in the morning. I would not recommend any of the cocktails. Go for straight liquor or wine. There were a lot of kids during our stay, and they spent most of their time in the pool. Even at night, which means if you want to have dinner by the pool, they swim by u and splash, or their water ball can easily hit you or your food. There is nothing around in the walking distance, but the hotel offers regular bus service to the center. We also used their service to the airport, more logical than anything u might arrange online. If you are thinking of this place as a luxury resort, please don't. This is a regular resort. For luxury, try shangri-la next door.

Incredible experience top to bottom for my entire family! From my 3 kids under the age of 9 and the 3 adults, we were all blown away by the beauty of the property, the private beach access, the amenities (gym, pool), the spa, the kid’s center, the activities, the photo ops, and wow, the FOOD! Most importantly, the professionalism and kindness of every single worker on the campus was exceptional. We definitely plan to return. Thank you Movenpick!

Staff was amazing and the property was beautiful- landscape was very nice, and beach was beautiful. Dining options were great. Breakfast buffet was amazing, and don’t forget chocolate hour. Quiet and away from the shops.

The staff was outstanding always had a smile on their face. No matter if it was early morning or late evening if you pass by any of the staff they will always greet you and speak to you. Really enjoyed my stay at the resort!

We stayed for two nights on our honeymoon. From check-in to check-out, all the staff are so knowledgeable, prompt, and just so nice!

My husband and I found the staff very helpful and accommodating. From the time we arrived at the airport, the transfers and on our return transfers we weee taken cared of. We also liked the fact that there’s variety in the breakfast they served. Very pleasant staff including the gardeners saying good morning or good afternoon. We love the peaceful and not crowded beach. Will definitely recommend.

The resort was like none other on the island of Boracay. It has old growth, coconut, and other trees on the premises. It is tastefully laid out, and is a pleasure just to stay at this resort.

The private beach front was quite and beautiful. The large pools were nice to relax in after the beach in the evenings

Really enjoyed the resort pool area. Scenic and picturesque view overlooking beach from the bar and pool. Their private beach is so much more relaxing compared to overcrowded station 1 & 2 beach area. Wonderful breakfast buffet. Rooms were large, clean and nice balcony. The service and friendliness of staff is exceptional. Disappointed by the the lunch and dinner food as well as the quality of cocktails during happy hour. Aside from the breakfast buffet we were expecting better quality food and drinks for the money they charge.

The property itself it’s nice. Rooms has no mosquito net, so if you open the windows crickets, mosquitoes and other insects will come to visit you. The electric supply continuously fails, so there will be few seconds of blackout during your stay every day. Sometimes calling to front desk or room services takes long time since they don’t answer. Even for the premium suite, the fridge was empty, and there are no stores nearby. They just provide a couple bottles of water. Shuttle was continuously crowded, so it’s better to take a ride to the main entrance and then look for a Tuktuk oat the entrance corner. Shared tuktuk cost 35 pesos per person and private ones 300 pesos per car, going to the d mall. Half board doesn’t worth it since there are very few options to choose for. The Italian restaurant was really bad. Mozzarella was still frozen and the quantities are really small, while the prices are high. It’s really better to eat outside at “Dos Mestizos” or “D-Mall”. Some staff is helpful but some of them are not, specially at restaurants, they forgot my order a couple times and brought it incomplete. In the other hand some people was outstanding. Kind, helpful and professional. The beach is nice and there are some activities available at the hotel. Swimming pool is big and clean. The garden it’s very nice but it blocks the ocean view. General experience was average, not enough for a 5 stars hotel. It feels like a 3-4 stars.

This is what you call a 5-star property!!! We stayed here for 7 nights (2 adults & 1.5 y baby) and couldn’t enjoy it more. Everything from the very friendly and helpful staff, great food, nice kids club to amazing pools and beach was great! Everyone was smiling and greeting you - such a small thing can definitely make your day even nicer. We always found a place in shadow to stay and swim with the baby (we were mornings on the beach and then near pools). Also, we celebrated our wedding anniversary on the check-out day - receptionist and then staff at the restaurant were helpful to organize small lovely surprise cake for my husband! Thank you so much for making our stay at Moevenpick on Boracay island so memorable and wonderful!!! So far the best holiday time we had as a family with small baby!
