Good stay overall. Room comfortable, gym small but nice. Didn’t use swimming pool (no loungers out by the pool). Breakfast was great. Biggest problem was that one of the fire escape routes was padlocked shut. I think there were problems with the fire escape ladder, but it was still signposted as an escape route, and the only escape route for that half of the hotel. I wouldn’t have expected this from an international hotel chain.

The service is good, people are friendly. BUT the hotel room is old, especially the bathroom is too old. If your room is facing the main street, it will be extremely noisy!

The first room provided was not clean. My parents had to request a different room multiple times to be changed to a better room. The quality of food and other experience overall was good.

The bathroom shower place had molds and was dirty, and there was not good hot water. The office front desk was not polite or welcoming. While checking in did not provide wireless or other amenities information, neither help to transport the luggage to room

I had horrible experience. Didn't get the rooms we booked. Didn't get the breakfast we paid for, it said it will included with room but when on site they made us pay. Expedia team tried to work with them for refund but I haven't heard from anyone in more than a week. I'll highly recommend, if you want to spend your money spend it at a place where they will do what they promise

I had a rate that included airport pick up and that worked well. However I booked this hotel so I could swim and the pool area is torn apart (seems like that for a while) and looks like a construction dump. Don't book this place if are hoping for a place to swim as there is NONE

The experience was good but not the best. Receptionist (front-desk) was not that welcoming but the other staffs are so kind and helpful. Amenities had to be placed in room to keep things going. Thank you

The stay was pleasant. However, cleanliness was not up to 4 star level. Swimming pool though advertised was closed during our stay. Bathrobe advertised was not provided. Drinking water was not replenished daily. Some towels smelt of cigarette smoke. Considering the above issues, the price paid was high.

It was not a pleasant experience.. The room we were alloted had the curtain missing from toilet exposing it to the room.. When reported by me the attitude of the staff was callous and they did not take any swift action and just blamed it on their own maintenance staff.. The shower was defective and the maintenance guy just told me that no plumber was available and I need to wait till morning.. Even in the morning Noone came to repair.. When I ordered the food they did not tell how long it will take and it was just endless wait.. When I called they will just lie and tell me it's on the way.. Overall a horrible experience.. It's a good property next to a shopping mall but has poor staff attitude and poor service and maintenance..

Very impressed with the hotel. Was very convenient for the purpose we were in- to be near our relatives in Nagavara who were surprised that such a nice hotel existed in the area. Breakfast was excellent. Can’t say the same about the food in the restaurant. Was quite expensive. Was shocked to see they had charged 450rs for a bottle of water. We were a group of 10 people at the restaurant and paid Rs 1350 for 3 bottles just for the water Elementis Mall within the same complex was an added bonus. Staff were friendly and helpful .The only drawback was-room was not cleaned every day and we had to remind the cleaners to do our room. Overall a very pleasing experience at the hotel and enjoyed the stay. Would definitely go back if I were to go to Bangalore again.

The staff is warm and courteous and make you feel welcome.The rooms are spacious with a comfy bed and clean bathrooms. The breakfast spread has sufficient variety and is of good quality. The hotel is conveniently located for those on business trips with work in Manyata Tech Park. I will stay again on my next work trip.

The Reception Team were very helpful, especially Susmita the Front Duty Manager who assisted me with a number of details in arranging Uber and Ola taxi's for me, plus where to find the nearest ATM etc...all so appreciated...and Susmita did it all with a pleasantness kindness. As well, Viykash at Reception was helpful and kind. Given the great service, clean and comfortable rooms, good buffet breakfast and other amenities the HoJo Bangalore Hebbal is a very good deal for the money!

Requested non-smoking room on Hotels.com. Smoking room was allotted. I was told that I will be shifted to a non-smoking room the next day. Nothing happened. Spoke to the manager few times. 3 nights stay and the room was offered on the third day. My wife who is highly allergic to smoking fell ill and had to get medical help. Waiting time for check in was 20 minutes. System was down and rebooting time was 20 minutes. There was a waiting period of 20 minutes for breakfast on the first day. Explanation was given that 8 - 9am is a very busy time. Staff not adequately trained. Explained my difficulties with the manager and was offered a free ride to the airport as compensation. Did not take the offer as I had already booked the taxi. I had stayed at Howard Johnson in other countries and I had good experiences. I will not recommend Howard Johnson at Bangalore to anyone.

During check in, there was some confusion as to how many people were on the reservation. After showing the expedia reservation confirmation, the manager changed things on his end. The room was good. I have stayed at the Ashok in New Delhi for about the same price and Howard Johnson is way better than that. I left my watch on the bed side table and didn't remember it until I was home. I called to find out if they had it and they did. I went in later that night and got my watch back.

This hotel has few amenities right next to it. The room was comfortable with enough room and closet space. Breakfast was nice with enough variety for many tastes. Staff was nice but seemed little confused at times. Overall, I would recommend this hotel and stay there again.

I stayed at this hotel for one night on March 28th, 2017. The hotel is located on Thanisandra Road around 30 km. from the International airport. I took an Ola cab and it took me 45 mins around 9:30 am in the morning (on a weekday). There is a mall next door to the hotel on the same side of the road, and a bank right across from the hotel (with an ATM). The hotel lobby is average, with some sitting area (Not that comfortable seating). The hotel provides complimentary juice, which was a great relief as the day was very hot (36 degrees). I arrived around 10:30 am, well before the check-in time. Initially the reception staff wanted to charge me half-a-day tariff for early check-in, however on requesting to provide at their earliest, they did comply without any extra charges. The lobby outside the room is very wide and nicely decorated. The room was very large with a king size bed, work space, refrigerator and a spacious bathroom. The lighting was adequate and there were sufficient power outlets, that did not need an adapter (these outlets take Singapore/HK/British plugs). My room had a front facing view. The hotel has a restaurant on the 2nd floor. The service was very good and the complimentary breakfast spread was adequate. The restaurant also serves Alcoholic drinks. I asked for a late check-out, and my request was promptly accepted. All in all a nice hotel with great staff.

Over all its a good hotel The lobby for a four star hotel is... small , but this is not a complaint but an observation Facilities in the room are up to international standards. Good WIFI and a sumptuous breakfast ..

We were traveling in a group of 8, had 4 rooms. The rooms were very nice, beds very comfortable. The food at the restaurant was excellent, enjoyed the Continental choices on the menu. The restaurant staff did a nice job of setting up tables so 12 of us could eat together. They were also extremely polite and helpful. We left for the airport at 3:30 am, and the staff did a great job of lining up transport. The rooms have one unique feature: the wall between the bathroom and the bedroom is glass, allowing you to see into the shower and beyond into the rest of the bathroom. There IS a blind that can be lowered, but it is in the shower, so you don't notice it till you are in the shower.
