Honestly, I don't even know if this place breaches and safety violations seeing how filthy it is. The filth is very evident in all the molds on the wall/floor/bedsheet/furniture/bathroom and stench. I understand that this is a budget hostel but it's very rundown and I was questioning the whole time if this place can pass living condition inspections. I wouldn't recommend this place. Either find somewhere else or top up a bit of money and get a cheap hotel.

Very quite district and feel unsafe to go back at night

This place is definitely cheap which is great, but the building is a little rundown and the bathrooms were very unkept.

The location is convenient, close to underground. Around 15 mins if walking to Dongdaemun.
The room especially the toilet is smelly even not in use for a day.

The reception guy is nice.He helped me bringing my luggage to my room.He also arranged things for my friend when he suddenly decided to stay there at midnight.
The rooms are not so gorgeous but clean enough to stay.
I’ll choose here next time as well.

The room was clean and simple, the owner was very kind and helpful and the other guests were pleasant. However the provided breakfast during our stay was very scarce, only toast and jam.

The area that this Hostel is located in is very convenient. You are close to Dangdaemun Shopping mall, Dongmyo Station, Imperial Palace, local food shops, and much more. Beds are comfortable and overall clean. Bathrooms are a little sketchy, but this place is such a great deal! So cheap. Highly recommend for anyone staying a week or less or just looking to save a lot of money. Helpful and nice service as well!

Too small room and small towel don't have toothpaste choose for breakfast not enough only bread coffee tea fruit juice and milk reception very nice and room not expensive

No air con when i came at May,its a bit hot at day time
But overall i think its good,next time if i go Korea alone i will choose this hostel again!

The shared room was okay but very small. I recommend to not bring to much luggage if you chose to live in a shared room! Also, breakfast wasn't really much to call breakfast... You got toast and tea or coffee. The kitchen was also always pretty dirty. And there were no real tools to use to clean the dishes or the kitchen. However, the cleaning service in the room was very good!
For the price you pay, you got exactly what it was worth.

On the most part it was clean and the bedroom was good. We went to check in from 1 pm as hotels.com said but they said this was wrong and it's from 3pm so we had to wait over an hour in their cold outdoor common area. The shower and toilet is also one room which was very strange and not a good arrangement for use. The shared kitchen area was small and dirty.

Poor facility at private toilet, your feet will get wet even through you just want to wash your hand.
Cleanliness of bed cover and toilet seat is acceptable,but not for other facilities.
Pillow case is changing from white to grey and yellow,dust and dirty around the room.
Phone with poor connection is provided for check in.
Poor Wifi connection.
Staff is helpful but without passion.
Kitchen and laundry room are available.

Friendly and helpful staff, room was rather small but was as expected for a hostel. I would recommend it for students or anyone else on a budget to give it a try. Way better than most other hostels I have lived in across Asia.

I stay in two bed with shower room . The room in 3 floor but Staff helped me to carry my big luggage to the room. No air condition or heater in the room .

Nothing to fault as a solo backpacker, being able to wash your laundry and to have a drying rack was amazing. The staff were really pleasant too:)

The hostel is very near between 2 subway stations (Dongmyo & Sinseoldong) so it gave me more flexibility in taking public transport. Just beware that there is another Hostel Korea nearby (it is tricky to find the place at first). Overall I had a pleasant stay.

I arrived at freezing night so it was a bit hard to find the hostel. it provides all facilities you need like dryer washing machine kitchen etc. staff was very nice.

Receptionist was very friendly. The location was very clean. The bed was a bit too hard for my taste. But overall my stay was very pleasant. The breakfast was good especially the grape juice. Wifi worked fine.

I want to say thanks to the staff in the hostel (especially the guy here). I am surprised by how he provided excellent service and assistance for me. I arrived the hostel very late at night and asked for food recommendation, instead of just tell me the direction, he showed me the way himself and even helped me order for food. He also helped me to book the ferry ticket online (which the website is totally in Korean).

Wifi really works in our room even you go outside the hostel. The room area is a bit small for the 3 of us but its comfortable. Staff was able to ring a van service for us to the airport the next 5 days. Free breakfast was also lovely but were not able to eat due to early morning trip. Pleasant stay overall.
