Location of the property is good. Proximity to lots of eateries and a good street. Free parking is also a plus.While we observed the staff are trying hard to maintain the place, some of the infrastructure are really old. The toilet and shower desperately needs updating. Drinking water is only supplied by a dispenser located in the common corridor.

the room is ecxellent. same as in picture. big room. have flusk for hot water. they provide coway water dispenser at the hallway. easy for customer. my room a little bit near road so can hear noise from the road until late night. but the most i dont like about my stay is around 12.30am some chinese teenager was going back to their room and the talk and laugh loud, can hear their footstep, open and close door so hard. i cant sleep until 2.30 in the morning. and around 8am people already start coming out from room. chatting along the hallway. disturbing my sleep. can hear the housekeeping push the bin. i have to wake up early because of that. not a pleasent stay for me because of that but overall, its value for money. maybe next time i go the nobody will disturb my holiday 😆

Great service ＆ arrangement from the manager although there is some inconvenient encounter during the check in. Thank you Mr.Kenny. This hotel definetely a budget hotel and strategic place in Georgetown for stay.

I would have given this hotel a better review if not for the sulky Chinese lady at the reception. She could see that I already had my hands full with my luggage when I requested for an electric kettle and a hairdryer and yet insisted that I make a second trip to the reception to claim them instead of asking one of the hotel’s staff to help bring it up to my room. Really poor attitude! The other staff were quite friendly though. However, the WiFi connection was pretty bad and really needs to be improved.

I'm not a picky guest. However, the stability of the wifi is really bad. It kept going off on its own every few minutes. Even after telling the staff, its still the same until 12 midnight.

I just have a comment for this hotel, please not to say at the promo or website or at hotel.com for check-in time are available 24 h, just say the check in time is same like another hotel because as a client, i and my friends confius with the time check in, we arrived early morning but cannot check-in but at the website can check in 24 h.Uncle at the counter just say the time check in are same as another hotel. Besides, a few minutes, Sarah politely, told us the truth, actually, we can check in 24 h, but the room are full. so we have to waited till noon. Ok we accapted it. Although not satisfied with the check in time, the hotel are very nice place to stayed at penang, the room are very clean maybe will choose this place for next holiday because the service quiet good Recomended.

Great location close to shopping centers public transport round the corner also free city bus ride no CT7. Hawker food galores between walking distance. Hotel reasonably priced friendly and clean.

When we checked-in we were told that the hotel was being renovated and that we were upgraded to a new room on the 4th floor. The room was indeed very nice, however it was not cleaned from the previous guests! There were cigarette ashes on the floor and hair on the bed. Other than that everything was fine. I liked the free parking, water filter machine in the hallway, good Internet access was and the A/C as well as cable TV in the room. Location was good as well, because it is not that far from city centre.There is one thing that definitely needs to be improved, i.e. proper housekeeping. When that happens, the hotel will be very nice to stay at.

Good staff but room condition is so-so. Room seriously need some upgrade, especially when facilities in the room are wearing off and floor tiles & ceiling look old. The room size is spacious though.

Check in was great as front desk "Sarah" was very friendly, and helpful. Room was large and spacious with windows which open!!! Bed was clean and comfortable, bathroom too. Basic facilities but certainly acceptable for the price. Internet worked well and not too slow. Great location, lots of food stalls, restaurants, pleasant walk into heritage part of town. Not overrun by tourists. 5 minutes walk from bus stop - 102 direct from airport

Round the hotel is a hawker's food paradise. Opposite is famous Ghee Hiang Store. Further 10 min walk is the famous hawker street "New Lane". Across the junction is the famous "Anson Road" market. Did I mention Pelita Nasi Kandar nearby.? I can go on and on. Cheers

Car park is important for me, cause last time I had stay in a hotel which need to park ur car at ur own risk.. I don't like that anymore... My car been knock.. Garden Inn Hotel, can given me full confidence on this cause had their own parking compound.. Thanks for take care my car so I had a good sleep.. I will came back again..
