It’s a nice clean place and close enough to the city center to walk.

Good clean hostel. Used the twin private room. Easy walking distance to the main park near the A dome. Roti bakery nearby has good cheap food

It's a fine hostel. It's really close to the street car and within easy walking distance to the Peace Park.

Negatives:
--Mattress was a little too thin, even by Japan standards
--They make you pay to 'rent' a towel which is BS
--Property is a little worn but it has some charm and the value is still great

It was a nice enough stay, but for the price, I expect to be able to have a proper shower. The shower is on a 30 second timer, and if you don’t push the button every 30 seconds, it will turn off. I’m not exaggerating, you have to push the button 20 times for a 10 minute shower.
It frustrated the hell out of me. I would not stay here again solely because of that. I’ve never seen anything like it in any hostel in Japan before.

We stopped over at J-Hoppers for one night on the way back from Miyajima to Tokyo. The staff were super friendly and very proficient in English. The luggage storage facilities were secure and convenient. The room itself was a Japanese-style tatami room which was fairly small and very basically furnished but at the cheap price and for a crash pad it was fine. The washing facilities were clean and convenient. The location of the hostel is ideal close to the Peace Park and museum and transportation links which allow you to travel all over the city. For a no-frills cheap place to stay with friendly service, in the heart of Hiroshima this place is great.

This is a shared accommodation. The futons are comfortable and the location is just a 15 minute walk from the main attractions. Overall the shared areas are clean and kept well

Great Location, quiet neighbourhood with a supermarket down the road and lots of okonomoyaki places around. Hotel itself was an older building but very clean! The dorms are nice the only downfall is the foutons are very thin so made for an uncomfortable sleep.
Kitchen and dining area is great... met some great international people here and would stay again.

Prime location and quaint setting, mediocre services; resistant to send their ferry dock shuttle car (only way to get their other than expensive taxi). Not worth $$$

Friendly English speaking staff, close to the peace park and tram. comfy Japanese style double room at a decent price. roof terrace would be nice in the summer. only negative was that the shower took a long time to run hot

Staff was very welcomed. Lavatories on the floor, cleaned once a day. Bed was futon like, if you're not used to, it's hard sleeping

It's my first time staying at a hostel. The experience was pleasant. I booked a female only room, and after I checked in I went to my space and lay out my belonging then went out and about. When I returned to the hostel at 1am, a hostel staff apologized to me that they accidentally put me into the co-ed room and he told me that they've moved all my belongings to the female-only room. He also handed me a hand-written apology note from the staff who checked me in earlier in the day. When she saw me in the morning she apologized in person again. They're super nice and responsible.

It’s definitely Worth to stay here !! Super duper clean without dust !!!!! Really exceed my expectation of the cleanliness level ! Super comfortable stay !! Would come and stay here again for the next visit !!! :)

There are so many good points in this hostel. e,g)Good location, clean room and bathrooms, free drinks and friendly staff. Rental bike is also available with cheaper price than City's rental. I'm sure I will be back to the hostel for my next trip to Hiroshima. The Best Guest house in Hiroshima.

Very nice and cute hostel. You have your own privacy, almost like in a capsule hotel in your bed. Free drip coffee powder was perfect in the morning, free ear plugs perfect while sleeping. Also a good place to meet and talk with other travellers and good location to the memorial park.

First time in a hostel and this hostel was exemplary. Really clean, comfortable enough and in a safe location for a solo female traveller.

Everything was excellent. The staff was friendly, the facilities were very clean, and the fellow guests were friendly as well. The only drawback is that they should have lockers for luggage of the guests. This will be very helpful for guest that stay multiple nights. It is a small investment on the part of the hostel that will make the stay even more enjoyable.

There is no way we would stay there again. It was to small, to smelly and too noisy !!! The hair and make is right in the hallway and they let people make noise until 11pm. The staff was very nice and very good english

We really enjoy the stay, really comfortable and clean, a little bit complicated to find the place at first but the location is great, really close to memorials, restaurants and places of interest.

My friend and I stayed in the twin Japanese style private room. Was very clean and cosy! Great opportunity to experience Japanese style living if you can't afford a proper ryokan. The hostel was in a great location also and had plenty of information of what was around.
