Beautiful historic hotel in a quaint mountain town. Room was spacious with a separate living area. Bed was very comfortable and the rooms were spotless and thoughtfully decorated. The 100+ year old elevator had to be operated by staff adding to the historic charm.

Was told by police I-90 was closed due to a major accident. Immediately used the web to book a room. Found this hotel. Was pleasantly surprised of the comfort of the hotel room and the great staff.

I absolutely loved our stay at the Murray hotel. The most lovely lady took us around and showed us a few of their rooms. Each one has its own character and are absolutely adorable.

This is a wonderful old-world type hotel, a genuine step back in time to an era when hotels didn’t contain 102 rooms that all looked alike. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful - I loved it here, and would definitely come back.

The Murray was the highlight of our stay. Livingston is a great town. Welcoming and friendly. The history and accommodations at The Murray were perfect. The experience is very unique and well worth it. The photos throughout the building are themed on different floors. Very cool. We stayed in the retro room and it was outstanding!

We arrived a bit later than expected because of a delayed flight. The night manager seemed snarky in his responses which made me question if I should stay.The room size was really nice and the beds were very comfortable. The morning desk clerk was really informative and had a lot of history on the hotel.

Wish someone would have told us about the train whistle blowing throughout the night ...seemed like every two hours. Guess we should have picked up the hint with ear plugs on the night stand by the bed. Very poor sleep, otherwise great service etc.

3 person elevator installed 1905—— they are pretty quick to get there and operate when you call. Great bar & food! No parking so finding a spot in the pm for overnight can be tricky!

Another gem of a hotel. Historic and lovingly restored and furnished. Not just a place to sleep, a place to go back in time. That being said: no on site parking. Nearby lot or street. No in hotel restaurant. Lots of restaurants super close. Outstanding choice and quite expensive.

The Murray Hotel was charming. We were in the “retro room”. Very authentic. No actual parking lot but parking in the street was available. We walked a few blocks to The Livingston Bar and Grill for dinner. A charming town.

The hotel and Livingston are charming. The room was very comfortable and well equipped. We slept very well except for the train across the road from us, but the hotel supplied ear plugs. The reception was friendly and fun.

This is a very cool and unique place. We booked last minute to stay closer to Yellowstone NP and I'm so glad we did! I wish we had time to stay longer here and Livingston in general.
