Affordable and very easy to get to from shibuya station.

Right im the middle of Shibuya, but not so close it gets the noise. Room was clean and efficiently laid out, we were very comfortable for such a small room. We would recommend and stay again : )

The Granbell in Shibuya is in a great zone, steps from Shibuya station and yet set back and a bit quieter than many other hotels in Shibuya. Rooms are a bit run down but staff keeps rooms clean. Staff is very polite and helpful.

Can’t fault the staff or location. But the hotel itself could do with a freshen up.

Perfect place.

It was my first time in Tokyo and I wanted to stay close to Shibuya but not too close. Upon exiting Shibuya station, the hotel is a quick walk up a bridge and back down across the street. It was super convenient and I felt safe staying in the area. It was walking distance to a Family Mart, shops, train station, and Shibuya area itself. The standard room is small but good enough as I was there on my own. The staff were all very very nice. I had the pleasure of speaking to Yuyi the most and she was very helpful with airport transportation methods. I love how easy it was to speak to her and her positive attitude. The housekeeper did a fantastic job of cleaning the room daily. They were very thorough and replaced everything I used. I appreciated the free daily bottle of water, mini-fridge, and room slippers/robe. I truly loved my time in Tokyo and I would not hesitate choosing Shibuya Granbell Hotel next time.

Clean, near to train station. The hotel is on a slope, so if you are travelling with lots of luggage, do take note

Amazing location! 8 min from stations and 10 minutes from lots of restaurants. They even shipped our luggage to a hotel that was in the middle of nowhere and cause trouble! Amazing staff and room for the price.

This hotel is well located! It's also nice and comfy. Staff are great. Shibuya station is super close 10 min aprox, you can walk to shibuya crossing and a lot of restaurants and shops. I highly recommend this hotel, would definetly come back

Great place to stay. Traveled alone and i felt very safe. Walking up the hill with my luggage will be my only complaint. 2 minutes of hell but besides that amazing location! Close to Shibuya station and close walking distance to the best shopping.

i got a smoking room on accident, so besides THAT, everything was decent. i’d say the only fault is that is wasn’t bright enough, wish there were more lights in the room or at least brighter. hotel is located on a hill so please make note with luggage. didn’t like the fact that the bathroom was behind clear glass, youre exposed but since i’m solo it didn’t bother me but just something else to keep note i guess. staff speak english so check in/out was easy

Don’t think the room is throughly clean sincei can see dirt on the wall behind the door. Room is small with no AC. Only good part is the location. Never consider again

The stay was ok the bed was stiff the room wasnt the cleanest but it got the job done for what we needed at a decent price the best part was how centrally located it was close to train an restruants. An definitely a small room compared to the western hotels

The hotel is at a PRIME location, right at Shibuya. Not too loud, not too chaotic, however everything is very easily accessible! Staff and service were great.

The shower booth is quite good.

The hotel is located up a small hill that's easy to miss if you're going uphill as the sign is facing uphill. It's a bit of a challenge if walking from the train station if you have luggage. Lots of places to eat nearby as well as sightseeing options. Our hotel room was a bit odd with the bathroom having a glass enclosure that felt like we were on a ship. There are curtains you can close for privacy, but it was an interesting design. The beds and pillows were quite comfy and we had a good night's sleep. The staff was quite friendly and helpful and there's a nice coffee shop and dinner place located inside.

The room was very spacious and clean. The location of the hotel was very convenient and the price was reasonable. Would highly recommend to anyone traveling to Tokyo!

Multiple soft lighting options in the room made for a pleasant atmosphere. The bed was comfortable, yet there was no room under the bed for luggage storage, which made an already small space feel even smaller. The entrance to the building is recessed with a subtle sign, so it is easy to miss. Also, the area around the hotel is currently (Oct. 2023) under heavy construction. Getting there was a real challenge, especially with baggage. Overall, my one-night stay was fine. The location was convenient for the train station, which was my main reason for choosing it. Depending on future needs, I would consider staying here again.

The evening front desk person ( Older man) is VERY RUDE and dismissive. He won't even acknowledge you. We asked for coffee to be refilled, he was angry that we did and when we thanked him, he just ignored us as walked away. He did this a few times. He even yelled at one of the guests that was at the lobby.

Phenomenal hotel, absolutely ideal for the solo traveller. The rooms are so so nice and they provide tons of free extras like toothbrush, hair brush, shaver, face wash etc alongside the usual shampoo etc. The ambience and design of the room is so modern and clean and would highly recommend!! Great price as well for excellent location, 5/10 min walk from Shibuya station
