Great stay

Perfect

Way overpriced. No dinning available, no rooftop bar available. nothing at all to do here except sleep. I excepted a bit more bang for this overpriced hotel. The hot water is sketchy at best, we were given some advice on how to get hot water in the shower, which had something to do with turning on the sink first. The positive, the building and rooms are trendy and nice to look at.

Hotel and staff was great. Restaurant La Placita not so much. Food was ok, not superb as before. Executive chef left and opened El Plaza in Isabel II, food there was awesome!

Easy to find, easy parking across the street- no issues. Safe area. Hotel is fun and clean. Ice cold AC in the room and comfortable bed made for a great night sleep after beach hopping and snorkeling all day. Staff were friendly and helpful. Would stay again 100%

It's important to remember that Vieques is small and there aren't that many options. I had a positive stay here. Lady at the front is super cheerful and helpful! This hotel has a personality and style of its own! It's super chic. You can rent beach chairs and towels which are fashionable and a reflection of their unique style. They also provide wristbands that are waterproof and serve as your room key as well- how innovative??? You can watch the sunset on the rooftop! There is complimentary coffee in the morning, both hot and iced with a variety of milks to choose from. Some negatives...no public bathroom downstairs. The restaurant downstairs has limited days. There is no television in the room. We found a lizard in our room which was still there after cleaning came in and made our bed. The jacuzzi on the roof had two warning signs, 1. the water hadn't been changed in 10 days and 2. the filter needed to be replaced.

This hotel is very cute and boutique-like experience. It was also very CLEAN! The room was quite large and we had a large balcony with an outdoor shower… essential for a beach trip. The bedding and towels were all very clean. They had great products in the bathroom and a STEAMER! The roof had a jacuzzi which was perfect for watching the sunset and a night cap. There was a bar on the roof but it wasn’t open the nights we were staying. The restaurant downstairs was top tier. We had no trouble walking in even though they recommended a reservation. They offer free towels and chairs for the beach which were both good quality/condition. We felt safe and welcome. Would definitely recommend. It is across the street from a beautiful beach and at the beginning of a street with a few restaurants and bars. Plenty of parking around the property.

The best situated hotel in the island of Vieques. Rooms were very comfortable and food at La Placita was great. This is a full service hotel

The hotel is the newest and modern in Vieques. It is located in front of a beach and near the most beautiful beaches in Vieques.

Really nice and clean hotel but water was out on our floor so had to go to restaurant for water and coffee only available downstairs in the morning. Very loud party hotel so just a heads up if you’re looking for something more quiet and romantic.

I loved this hotel. It's a special and relaxing place. The staff members were always really helpful and the food from their restaurant was amazing. I'm definitely coming back!

The building is unique, the views are unparalleled, the rooftop amenities are fantastic. We struggled with the volume of the music from the cantina on Thursday evening (since the building is concrete the sound travels pretty far, especially the bass) and the restaurant is not open during the week (which makes sense), but other than that our stay was wonderful. Great staff, we were able to check in early. Each room has complimentary beach chairs and you can request beach towels at the front desk. There is a cute little shop in the lobby and the staff was always helpful. This is the closest hotel to Playa La Esperanza and the Parque Nacional Bahia del Sol. Several beaches within walking distance (but beware of glass on Playa La Esperanza and French Toast Beach) but with a golf cart you can get anywhere you want to go. Restaurant options are ok in Esperanza, but if you want real local Puerto Rican food, you'll be better off eating in Isabel. If this is your first visit to Vieques, this is a great place to stay. Highly recommended. Parking is iffy--there are public spots around and we had no trouble, but we were lucky. Lastly, we did not know before making our reservations that Easter weekend is a really big party/holiday in PR, so if you want a quiet stay, don't go in early April/Easter weekend. Our mistake, but take that into consideration.

We had a fabulous stay - clean, accessible, staff was always cheerful and helpful; great food in restaurant. Everyone who worked there went out of their way for us. We look forward to returning.

We had several issues with the property, most of which were related to housekeeping. The room had not been cleaned thoroughly before we checked in. There was actually broken glass on the floor that my daughter cut her foot on. The lotion and body wash containers were empty and we were not able to get anyone to refill them the entire time we were there. The "pool" (which is the size of a hot tub) is only accessible via a very steep and slippery ladder. If you are older or at all mobility impaired, it is not accessible. The room decor is very basic - it reminds you of a college dorm room. The one positive is most employees, other than the general manager, were pleasant.

Need improvement

Don’t recommend this property. The A/C has a strong musty smell that makes us can’t sleep. Amenity appears to be outdated, and staffs are quite cold and not very responsive. Will never come back.

Great spot, near key restaurants and night activities. Cozy hotel, perfect for couples or young people looking for adventures and close beach.

I had such a great time. The staff is so friendly and helpful. Facilities clean.

The staff was so very helpful regarding every situation - they even offered us the rooftop facilities before & after check in times & watched over our bags. Beautiful view free m rooftop. Breakfast was adequate, but disappointing.
