What a delightful find in the Old Town, it's an easy walking distance to the beach, shops, restaurants and bars.
Highly recommend
One small issue it would be best if hotel could send check in details ( door code)to my email as I missed the text maybe it's because I have loaded a travel sim in my phone and didn't get it.
Anyway only a small problem as the bar owner next door rang the manager for me.

Great guesthouse! If you want to be a part of the night life of Tarifa you are in the right place. Not a large room but I found it quite alright. Lovely french styled window looking out on the street. Did not meet any staff but instructions to get into building and room received by email were very clear and everything went smoothly.

Great location for going on ferry to tangier. Close to great restaurants as well. Never met or saw the staff as they have very limited hours but communication with them was good.

Pleasant guesthouse on a square with a nice restaurant. Although overall quiet, guests coming and going, particularly late at night/wee hours disturbed us regularly. Reception wasn’t open on the day we arrived, despite an email on the day telling us they were, and this was disconcerting but the self help directions were easy to follow. Very very close to the port, which was convenient. Parking outside to unload our bags was a lucky fluke but would be difficult at times when the street’s restaurants and cafes were set up for outdoor dining on the road.

Great spot in the old town, nice place, not posh but its good for exploring and a bit of lively evening. The square activity at night that makes it very special. Real good vibe. Id definitely stay again.

Property had great airconditioning, room space and tv and was quite clean. It was close to major areas even thought it was in a small street. I liked it.

Excellent homely place to stay! Terrace was great too! Loads of good restaurants around, all in walking distance.

The guesthouse is very clean, with a comfortable bed, coffee and tea in room, and great location as 5 minutes to ferry. Unfortunately our stay was during a cold spell, the heater did not warm the room.

We only had 1 night and the Benali Guesthouse was the ideal choice for our accommodation in Tarifa. Situated in the old town and only a 5 minute walk from the ferry terminal we really enjoyed our stay. We had a great walk and meal and awoke ready to tackle Morocco the next day. Tarifa is no Granada, but does have an element of charm in the old town. The Benali Guesrhouse was clean, spacious and the balocony on our room was very nice.

Lovely guesthouse if you don't mind TERRIBLE service. We telephoned ahead, as my husband is quite frail, to make sure that we would have help when we arrived for the bags and parking. We were assured that someone would be there if we arrived before 3:00PM. We rushed to be there on time, and even arrived early at 1:45PM. We were unable to bring the car close to the hotel to drop our bags, as promised, and there was no one there to help when we arrived! No note, and no explanation, but most of all no one to help us from the guesthouse!! But, for the wonderful man next door at the bar we would have had a major problem. He was able to contact the owner by phone, and get us into the hotel, he also came with me to find somewhere safe for our car......bless him. We never saw or heard from any hotel staff, until the next morning, as we were packing our car to leave. So much for service.

Bit tricky to find by car. Parked below the fort and walked the 200m around the Fort and up the lane way to the hotel.

Located in the closed-for-traffic town center, this guesthouse is quite charming. Simply, yet nicely decorated, reasonable bathroom w shower, not particularly large rooms, but with great balconies (on the 2nd floor). No hotel services, i.e. 'DIY' accommodation, no common areas, yet functional and good location (except for parking or access by car). Nice for summer, reasonable/modest for winter.

Tarifa is a great city to visit for a few days. This hotel was right in the heart of the Old Town and we walked 2 blocks to the ferry to Tangier. The room was clean, in good condition and the bathroom was pretty good. This room was quite small but it had a huge private patio which some people would really enjoy (we were too busy to use it). But there is no elevator so we had several flights of stairs to lug our luggage up and down and no one is readily available to help you if you need help after very limited hours of someone being there. We were happy overall but we felt it was a little expensive all things considered.
