The stay was good. The room was clean .
The only problem was that the fan in the washroom didn’t work and the main door to the room needed repair as it was hard to lock and open from the inside.
I would recommend this stop.

The room was super clean. Staff were amazing and welcoming. I would highly recommend this hotel. I came from Victoria for a getaway and it was perfect. I was super impressed

You get what you pay for and a little less
The woman at the he front desk wasn’t at all friendly. Very noisy and seems like most customers were smokers.

When we first walked in, the room had an odour that wasn’t pleasant (a combination of smoke & a stale smell (the skirting on the bed and the curtains had what looked like old dry vomit on them - we noticed this in the morning). The window in the washroom was left open; most likely to try to get the smell out. There was no fan in the washroom & when you showered, the shower head was awkwardly placed (it was uncomfortable). When the wind was blowing during the night, the door rattled as if someone one trying to come in.

Garbage receptionist. Garbage motel. Used to me a fine establishment. Now its a sewer of unpleasantries and dissapointments. Avoid this utter trash heap at all costs.

Vehicle noise. Toilet smell.

Would have an extra star if it wasnt for the awkwardness of getting out of the parking area.

I like the rooms but I didn't like how the door was hard to lock and there was no instructions on how to use the tv. It had two remotes. You could hear everything outside and next door and as people walked by.

The staff were helpful.i found the rooms comfortable, clean and no street noise. My only suggestion, a hair dryer for the room.

It had bed bugs. I was covered in bites for weeks.

Super easy access to and from the ferry. Restaurant and stores were within a mile, so easy access to everything in Nanaimo. Will definitely stay here again.

Several smaller things in the room require repair.

Rooms are okay but fridge did not work and sink was plugged. Very noisy near the road...

Modest and clean

Check in was fine. Had to walk though an un kept courtyard to get to my room. Traveler beware; there's gravel, cracks in the concrete and uneven surfaces. I was frustrated with the office as it closed shortly after I checked in and they weren't open until 9:30 am the next day; well past the time I needed to be on the road. I will choose another hotel when I stay in Nanaimo again.

Nothing special about the stay.

The staff was super friendly and the room was nice size. It feot very cranped with two queen beds inside of it though. However, there was a mini fridge and microwave in the room as well. The garden was a nice view and the cable box had quite a few channels. I liked that the sink is seperate from the bathroom as it's easier to get ready. It's noisy because it's located right off the main street so you hear traffic very early in the morning.

Place was clean and really nice and for a fair price! Their water fall was broken and was being repaired but all the same the yard was amazing! Would definitely go back!

As far as motels go, not too bad. It’s right by a highway so it can be a bit noisy. There is a portable AC unit in the rooms. We were quickly moved to another room because the first smelled of cigarettes. I felt like the rooms were clean, and if we needed anything the front desk was quick to help. Comfortable beds and pillows. It’s a 15 ish minute walk along the harbour to downtown Nanaimo.

Reasonable price, clean.

Loud visitors on the first night could be heard in the next door room through the thin walls. The bible is unnecessary in 2023, and offensive. Paying $25/ night for our dog was excessive

The staff were very pleasant and accommodating.

Port O Call was close to the BC ferry terminal - once we found the correct "north" location.

All was fine. Rooms are nice and big tv is a bonus.

The room was clean and comfortable. Could hear traffic from the road but overall had a good stay. I checked in after check-in time but called ahead and they were very willing to accommodate me and made it very easy to register and get to my room.

My kids had a blast and said they would stay again.
