Great place to stay at. Was clean. Premises was a bit tired n needs fixing like toilet seats, showers. Beach was clean n overall worth the stay.

Don’t leave your tray outside your door the monkeys get to it. Woke up to breaking cups and utensils scattered everywhere. Good place to getaway for a few days and staff were very attentive.

Myself I did not enjoy my stay here. It is far out in the jungle with nothing nearby. I did not have transportation so it was not good for me. If staying here you need a car. Also it is about 30 min to anything nearby. Just a quiet secluded place to do nothing.

A bit pricey and quite far from the centre of Subic Bay Freeport but well worth it. The resort is very private; the beach is for the exclusive use of the guests. The rooms are large, the bathroom as well. WiFi signal is very strong (in the common areas, the room and even the beach). The staff are very pleasant (from the guard who guided us when we parked our car, to reception, to everyone we met in the resort); they seem eager to serve and always do so with a smile. The beach is nice and clean, so is the infinity pool. We saw a couple of monkeys near the beach and on the road just outside the resort (guests are advised to always keep their doors/windows closed). Breakfast was fantastic. Best to have your meals here once you check in because the resort is a 30-minute drive from the centre of the freeport. They charge a corkage if you bring in drinks (soda, alcohol) but you can bring your own water (they provide complementary bottled water in the room). You can bring snacks (crisps) but not food. It is a very quiet place and perfect for those who want to relax (but probably not for those who want a vibrant nightlife -- there is none).

The room was good at casita!! But the hotel area was not fine it was in the middle of the forest, no shuttle service u need to call taxi from the city if you want to go somewhere and its very expensive, its better to bring your own snack or drink coz its not advice to buy at the hotel,,, the food menu is very few if your gonna stay for long vacation your gonna run out of food to order ,,,

The pool and the sea was great. The room is also ok, except for the bed bugs under our pillows on the first night, though they address it by transferring us to another room. But other than that, the room was great. The staff are great, good food and a very reasonable food price. My kids love the pool. I love the food and the serenity of the place, it is secluded and very quiet.

Not that crowded and good for small families.. Maybe a little bit overpriced though facilities are great,,maybe try making it more reasonable especially when it comes to food since guests have no other access to food shops nearby.. It's a sanctuary so don't expect too much water activities.. It's a good and quiet place to relax.. Love the exclusivity..

Very little to offer with respect to activities. Rooms are good - view is nice. Very little options for activity. Pool is too small to accommodate relaxing atm and beach area when there are too many guests - especially large Filipino families.

Beautiful loation, pertect sunsets. Great pool and beach. Staff and food service were very nice. Totally relaxing but also very isolated. 30 minute taxi to nearest town/store. If youre looking for isolaton and downtime this is wonderful

I'm pretty easy going and this is my first bad review of a place ever out of years of travel, so trust me when I say this place is not great.
Good: the views and location are wonderful, the water is absolutely amazing and you have direct access from.the resort.
Bad: service is not great, staff barely speaks English and are not friendly. Breakfast closes early and so does the kitchen, by 9pm you have to have ordered. Prices are high too. There is nothing around so if you miss the cut you're waiting until the following morning to eat... Facilities are scarce too, barely anything to do but use the pool, and it's too small to fit all the guests. No internet in the rooms and bad signal, so forget about getting work done or anything like that. No gym, table tennis or anything indoors, and the volleyball court is in shambles.

Nothing special in this hotel except clean and soacious rooms. Not worth your money. No wifi in rooms, restaurant service is very poor. Corkage fee for every cooked food you bring in, horrible location about 19km from city proper with no nearby restaurants. Stay away there are lots of other hotel in Subic.

Don’t believe in everything you read. I thought I made a bad choice in booking in Kamana because of the bad reviews that are out there but I guess the owners took the reviews seriously and acted on the things that needed to be improved. Overall experience was really great and we will definitely go back again

I booked this place online as it is advertised as Kamana Resort and Spa as my wife enjoys her time at Spas when we go on a break, imagine our surprise to find out that Kamana Resort and Spa has no SPA at all (False advertising at its best).
When we inquired about it we were told that they could do in room massages, my wife booked a massage on our first afternoon, the receptionist said that they couldn’t confirm it as they had to find someone to come and do the massage.
They eventually found someone to do the massage, they turned up at our room without a massage bed and expected to do the massage on the bed we were supposed to sleep in.
After rearranging some furniture and bringing in one of the day beds from out on our balcony my wife enjoyed a very good massage.
My wife attempted each day we stayed here to have another massage, but this was never to be repeated as they couldn’t locate anyone to do any massages (Extremely Disappointed)
This is a very disappointing Resort that has the potential to be a great Resort, it is way way overpriced, very isolated – 40 + minutes back into Subic Bay.
Save your money and stay somewhere else.

Too expensive to stay there for the simple amenities. They should offer activities for guests. For example, hiking , guided exploration of thethe surrounding areas.
Amazing sunset .amazing housekeeping staff. Food service is ok. They can improve on the breakfast buffet, offer on a more fresher selection of pastries and fruits. The playground needs improvement for children .

Really a nice stay. Our phone in our room didn't work. The staff tried to fix the line but it would be a long term fix but offered to exchange our room. Other than that one little issue all was super! The staff was really awesome! Very helpful and courteous! Only wish there was wifi in the rooms, having to go to the reception or dining area for wifi is an inconvenience. The facilities were so beautiful and clean and staff was exceptional! I'll comeback again.

The bed had bed bugs. We waited for 40 mins for our dinner to be served. They also miscalculated our billing twice.

The rooms are big and clean. Service was pretty good. Location was so out of the way though that you should plan on staying inside the resort.
