It was my second time attending, food was mediocre compared to the first time. I ordered a birthday package for my daughter’s 5th bday, they messed up the room decorations, they did the room next door to ours.. the experience for my daughter was ruined.

Booked a room for one night for two adults and 3 kids. The room was too small and did not have enough beds for 5 people.

This resort is only okay. We decided to splurge and upgrade to a swim up room when we arrived and everyone seemed great. That is when it all ended. We have stayed at many others over the years and this was by far our worst stay. Once you decline attending their high pressure sales pitch you are on your own and it was frustrating because we couldn’t get dinner to the only restaurant that requires reservations for the 5 nights we stayed with them. The butler only cares about the “points”. Generally we have good butlers that work hard for tips, but not here. The restaurants are all small and very limited. The average wait was 1-2 hrs. Only three places are open without a reservation and one of them is their lack luster buffet. To top it off they still do rolling closures even though there is not enough dining. House keeping only showed up one day without us calling for them and the mini fridge was never stocked from our first day on without a phone call. I would advise anyone considering to book someplace else. Our young boys had a good time, but as parents we were beyond stressed and frustrated with the stay.

This resort is great for kids of all ages. They provide complementary cribs upon request & do not require carseats when traveling to excursions. i would have liked better quality food, but over not bad.

No hot water in room! Poor booking of excursions that were then canceled and us left waiting 7-14 days for a refund. Staff not as friendly or accommodating compared to other resorts we have visited. Food just ok.

Overall the resort is beautiful the food is blah, same food at the buffet and character breakfast (mid) my daughter really enjoyed aqua nick, the burgers there was great same buffets daily, (housekeeping) lets talk about them they never once cleaned my room but they went into my room as if they were looking for something my sheets were pulled back closets were open i never left it that way so be careful lock your personal items up ... I also requested birthday room decor for my daughter's birthday nothing. room service came pretty quick when requested. the outdoor bars were nice be prepared to spend unnecessary $$$

I did not like the hounding for membership option. Although they say is not like “time share” its a lie. Same approach. Someone very nice randomly introduces themselves, offers you a nice free gift and then bam you become bait. They get all your info and give you the same stupid speech 60-90 minutes! If you are smart, you nip it at the “free gift” nothing is free and you will lose 60-90 minutes of your vacation that you will never get back! Dont fall for it

For kids they loved the property. It was nice but I didn’t like that alot of the employees and staff expected a tip. And if you didn’t give them one they would get upset

Overall stay was good. My daughter and I had a wonderful time. Staff was very friendly. Very costly but worth it in the end. Except for the teenage mutant turtle dinner, buffet dinner was not worth almost 200 dollars and the performance was not as fun as the character breakfast.

So much potential but ultimately a very hard miss. Pros - beautiful beach and pools. Mostly convenient layout. Cons (many) Food is barely serviceable. I have stayed at many 4 and 5 star all inclusive and this was by far the worst. Room service reminiscent of Fyre festival. Nothing works right. Showers constantly lose heat or pressure. Doors don't close. Room service may or may not come. "Concierges" are your access to everything but are unresponsive and hard to find. Didn't meet mine until 24 hours into our trip because he gets off work an hour after checkin starts so we wandered aimlessly (staff instructs you to do everything through your concierge). Final picture: in the sweltering heat of midday - there were meet and greets with characters. Two of the three times we went it was canceled after a twenty minute no show. The communal cry of 30 hot, cranky kids not meeting sponge bob will haunt me forever.

I like all the kids activities they have and each place is walkable. The things I don’t like is too less food choices, food quality needs to be upgraded.

The property is ok. Water park is good. The customer service overall terrible!!! I will not go back to this hotel. The staff is not property trained and the service at the buffet was terrible! Spoons felt on the floor and the staff put it back to the same place to keep using. This is a kids resort higiene should be top priority! The staff was arguing a lot while on service not a good picture to see. We had to call after two days of being in the resort to get our room cleaned and get more fresh towels. There are better options out there for kids!

This is a property that I recommend only for kids not adults. Won’t stay longer than 4 nights

Horrible Hotel, Bad Service, Unfriendly People, Completely Disorganized and All around bad experience. We tried to book activities ahead of schedule, only to be completely ignored by the concierge. When we arrived, nothing was ready and everything was completely unorganized. Service was horrible, most employees of the hotel, did not seem like they wanted to be there, mostly unfriendly, unwilling to help and simply passing the buck. The hotel does not make much sense, room service cannot bring you water or coffee. The food was horrible and very poor quality. I spent the entire week arguing and stressing over wrong things only to ensure my kids had a half way decent time. We ended up leaving the hotel to find activities elsewhere half the time due to the horrible organzation and services. Please DO NOT BOOK this hotel, you will regret it. I don't leave reviews often, but this one is very warranted.

They say all inclusive but mean to a certain point. Buyer beware you are basically paying a entry level pass to the "resort." Every chance they get they'll gouge you with ridiculously high upcharges. Room was clean enough. Hotel was clean enough. Spa was dirty and many of the included features with the treatment were either disabled or worse broken. They were ants crawling out of cracked tiles on the hyrdo seats in the spa. Unless you tip or speak Spanish you are not getting a friendly person or helpfull person. If you want to get into the "included restaurants"be prepared to line up a minimum of 45 min ahead and try doing that with hungry impatient children. If are unlucky not to get into the very limited seating in the specialty restaurants good luck eating within 1 hour unless you want to resort to the buffet. Buffet was 6 out of 10. Restaurants have very limited hours. Restaurants were always broken and dirty. Also not kids friendly in the least. I mean, it's a kids place, you'd think the urinals would not be the height of their heads... Drinks are of course watered down, unless you want to buy a bottle, which is severely marked up. I asked several staff as to why ask the issues, their response, "the hotel is going through changes and is new years" well the price did not reflect that in the least. If it wasn't for the characters, water park and beach our vacation would've been terrible. They constantly try to upsell you, even to get a time share!

Food quality is no better than a hospital cafeteria. Water park is small with no adult engagements or activities. Staff is poorly trained, no activities for kids. Show qualities are sub par based on other comparative experience both in Mexico and other places in Dominican Republic . Most of the staff do not speak English or even compressible Spanish. Courtesy and respect for guests is nonexistent. Staff attitudes seem to suggest that you are inconveniencing them every time you call. Concierge service was only interested in selling us timeshares for the Katisma resort parent company, otherwise was rude and unhelpful. Room was clean, cleaning service was excellent. Pool area are clean. Beach is beautiful. Property is 7 years old. So the physical structure of the resort looks nice. But the staff, organizational structure is completely trash. Would advise you spend your hard earned money else where.

My husband, six year old daughter and I stayed at the Nickelodeon resort for one week in December. Overall, we enjoyed our stay but there were several mishaps that occurred, including having to wait over 30 min for a cart to be escorted to our room when we arrived, having the room key not work when we finally made it to the room and finding our mini bar with an open Coke bottle. When I told the manager about these issues (I was pissed), she did offer us a complimentary character breakfast, which would have cost us about $250 for the three of us. We were pleased with that and were willing to overlook our not so great welcome. However, we encountered other issues after that, mainly poor service, particularly at the restaurants. Wait staff were slow to respond to requests. It took us over an hour to be served our food at the burger restaurant and once the food finally came my burger was very undercooked. The waiter did not apologize and really acted as though he was unconcerned. I will say that the burger was delicious after they recooked it. Given the price to stay at that resort, we expected better service. We were generally disappointed with the quality of the food overall. The buffet wasn’t good but we enjoyed the Asian restaurant. There food that was cooked poolside and at Aqua Nick was much better than the offerings in the restaurants. Overall, I would say it is good to experience this at least once for the kiddos. However, for the price I probably wouldn’t go back.

After being to other luxury all inclusive resorts, Disney cruises and other resorts(including Disney Florida and California resorts and Atlantis Bahamas), our experience at Nickelodeon was quite disappointing. Everything from the moment we walked in to the moment we walked out including check in process, food, facilities, cleanliness, services, helpfulness of the staff was mediocre at best(I am being very generous here). We had been gone to Grand at Moon Palace in Cancun for the last 2 winter holidays and decided to try something different this year but regretted that decision every moment we were there. The check in process was a torture and it took about 2 hours to get to our room. The reception staff told us to talk to the concierge to make dinner reservations prior to going to our room. We waited 30 minutes in line to talk to the concierge who told us that we actually don’t need any reservations for dinner which speaks to the mismanagement and disregard for guests’ time. We were asked to talk to a “personal concierge” again in the morning which we did and it ended up being a waste of time as well. The whole focus was to get us into signing up for the paid activities rather than helping us with anything. This was the general attitude of all the staff at Nickelodeon.The worst part about Nickelodeon was probably the food. There are very few restaurants and the food quality was terrible and unhygienic(can give specific examples if needed). The room service was a disaster.
