The goal of my trip was to attend a graduation at Colgate University. Hence, the one-night stay at the "Hampton Inn & Suites Cazenovia." Boy, how happy I was to have found this fantastic hotel!
This hotel represents the jewel among thorns as it seems to be the only place that is standardized and attractive in Cazenovia .
The bedroom is roomy and the bed comfortable; the bathroom is clean and cold and hot waters flow with no glitches for showers; there are a microwave, a small fridge, a sink for dishes, an iron, a spacious closet, and a wide-screen TV in the room. A really comfy room.
In addition to the room, there is a pleasant pool to keep kids active.
However, I found the hotel to be too pricey. Charging nearly $600 for one night still does not compute for me. I would suggest to Upper Management to start working on a more appropriate charge.

My daughter and I enjoyed 3 nights at the Cazenovia Hampton Inn. It was clean and the room was very spacious - giving us plenty of room to hold work meetings separate from our living / sleeping space. The staff were friendly and helpful. I appreciated the clean and well-equipped exercise room. The breakfast offered many choices. The proximity to Cazenovia was great - we really enjoyed exploring that charming lake town.

Ellen at the front desk was extremely professional and friendly for check-in. Our room was very clean and the location of the hotel was conveniently located. The only negative thing I'd have to say about the experience is we recieved a call in regard to a noise complaint at 7:30PM. We were very confused because our kids were getting ready for bed and we were barely making noise. The room above us though was quite noisey so I think there may have been confusion. I think it could've been addressed in a different way and seemed accusatory that we were the culprits.

Staff was very friendly and helpful. I was there to celebrate my niece and nephews birthdays with a party and the hotel was very accommodating. I look forward to returning soon.

First time staying in Cazenovia for a college visit and this will be our go to Hotel if our son picks to go to school in the area. Friendly staff, large comfy rooms.

Hotel is clean. Bed was hard. Pillows were like sacks with socks in them. There was a huge window (see picture) directly in front of our bed and the middle six feet or so of the window had white sheer curtains. The rest of the curtains (on either side of the white sheer curtains) were thick dark greyish but they were fixed and didn’t close the gap. Needless to say, bright light comes through straight to your face! Hope you didn’t want to sleep in! Clean, newer hotel but not much on comfort! King bed was nice and big but a mattress topper would go a long way!

Its always a pleasure staying at this resort. The rooms are clean and service is excellent. The complementary breakfast is always delicious. This hotel is my go to every time I visit this town.

After a long day of driving, I arrived at the property. I requested from the front desk person checking us in that I wanted a room far away from the elevator and to a quiet room. When I got to my room, it was literally 3 doors from the elevator! At that point, I was too exhausted to go back down with all of my bags and change rooms. Very disappointed in the lack of LISTENING to the customer!

They raise there rates around the time of the college events. I booked at $140 but ended up paying $295 when done with all the undisclosed fees. That was for one night.

We were greeted by a very friendly employee. Quick check in . Used the pool and the water could have been warmer! Check out was fast and friendly. We will stay there the next time we are in town! Very clean!

This is a quiet location just outside of Syracuse, NY. I feel very safe in the area. There are little shops and restaurants 5 mins from the hotel. The staff are friendly and casual. Makes you feel like part of their family.

Pros-this hotel is just outside the village, set on beautiful property that is quiet with a nice view. Plenty of safe parking. The lobby is open, clean and welcoming. Check in was good, employees were polite.
Cons- our room was handicapped accessible and that isn’t what we booked. Pillows are horrible, bring your own. Bed was not great at all. Upon check-in we noticed the bed was sloping down in the middle. A quick check we saw that whoever put the split box springs on didn’t put them properly in the frame so we slid them in correctly and it fixed the issue. Bed still wasn’t very comfortable. Shower got ice cold in the morning within minutes, not sure why.
Overall, things were okay, just not overly impressed.
