The check in was slow because the front desk could not find my booking. They failed to provide useful information about local dinning in the neighborhood and recommendation on tourist attraction. Their insufficient service does not match a luxury hotel like theirs.

Extremely nice hotel, amazing breakfast, rooms were big and spacious. Staff spoke perfect English. I would stay again.

Hotel is not centrally located to much of the main attraction. Staff is friendly, rooms are big and overall nice appearance inside and out.
A few main issues, had this strange smell in the hotel, stronger in the rooms,
the toiletries scents were so strong it stayed on your body and clothes for an entire day.
Like I said above, location to mall/restaurant great but to local attractions not so much

this is one of the newer hotels in Xi’an. Located in a desired area with convenient access to highway or the inner city. Hotel itself is in great condition with tasteful design. The staffs are extremely nice and polite. Especially Mr. Jerry Zheng who has been really helpful during our stay. The Grendale Plaza across the hotel has lots of dinning options as well as supermarkets. Highly recommended and will stay again.

I stayed 5 nights at Hyatt Regency Xian and overall great experience.
There was a cricket inside of my room and I have heard it stridulated early morning (4-5am) 2 days in a row that disturbed my sleep so asked a hotel staff to change room. After I moved to another room, I could enjoy quiet stay. Area near the hotel is nice to look around parks by the lake.

This property represents one of the most attentive and sterling experiences I have had in probably a decade. Every level of service from bell desk to food services to management was stellar. And not just reactive service but a truly anticipatory mindset that is hard to come by. On this trip, I was taking my parents around the world for their 50th wedding anniversary and the staff made them feel like a king and a queen with a very special welcome gift and the super royal treatment. This is a special property!

Quite a distance from the walled city of Xi’an . Had to take a taxi at night to experience the Muslim quarter. There’s a mall across the street but didn’t have time to explore. Wish the air quality was not so bad. The terra-cotta warriors exhibit was definitely the reason to come here.

Overall experience was excellent at this hotel. The only issue was they make all guests wear swimming caps for the pool and the reason was "our hair will dirty the pool".

We chose this hotel because it was the #1 ranked hotel on expedia.com. We didn't realize it was quite so far away from downtown, and i'm glad we didn't know because we may not have chosen it.
This hotel is excellent in every way. Check-in was easy and efficient, and the rooms were huge and well equipped (a light switch to turn off ALL lights was in the correct place, unlike so many chinese hotels).
We ate breakfast and dinner at the hotel for the 3 nights that we stayed there. The food was excellent. The service was excellent too.
There is a mall across the road which has everything you may want to buy, or Starbucks if you need a "fix".

Newly built Hotel in Zen style.
Nearby a wonderful Lake, where you can learn about china's old culture.
Opposite the Hotel is a nice shopping mal. Traditional food, delicous, for small price.
Hotel is situated in a good area in Xi'an, it is very clean everywhere, the gardens are in very good shape.
I missunderstood, that it is situated nearby the old center of the town. It was meant the old Hyatt was situated there.
Rooms are modern, clean amazing and cosy. Teamaker in the room. Wonderful bathroom.
Hotelstuff is friendly, espacially in the Fitnessarea.
I love to visit it again.

The hotel location indicated on expedia is that of the former Hyatt hotel. This hotel is a 30 minute cab ride from there.
This does not matter if you are planning organized tours, but is annoying if your goal is to explore the inner-city walls by foot.

Room is perfect, clean and comfort. Staffs are kind and they can speak English well.
But why did you charge the deposit to me? Your receptionist deanded my credit card for deposit and said that was just for deposit. But why did you charge that deposit? Please cancel them.

The hotel was a nice oasis after a long and very hot two days of sightseeing.
I do wish that the patio had a fan as it would have been lovely to be outside enjoying the views and sipping a glass of wine.

One of the nicest hotels I've ever stayed at. Clean, elegant, beautiful, spacious, and relaxing. Service was impeccable. Pool, spa, and fitness center were superb. Highly recommend.

My sister and I were greeted by friendly hotel staff on arrival. Whilst the hotel is located in the new district of Xian, the hotel staff helped us find a cab to meet a Food Tour meet up near the city wall and city Fire Station which was proving a little difficult to find on a map at first. We also found the staff at the hotel restaurant where we dined and enjoyed a sumptuous breakfast very friendly.

Outstanding hotel and service - particularly Bob and Samson from Concierge who went out of their way to help me arrange a tour to the terracotta warriors. My only complaint is that it was indicated that the hotel was inside the old city wall however this is not the case. The location is south east of the wall not far from the Pagoda and next to the south Lake. Whilst it is a lovely area and taxis are cheap most of the action for tourist is within the wall. Please be aware of this when booking through Hotel.com. The spa is amazing and the Chinese restaurant is delicious - only wish I wasnt dining alone so I could try more dishes.

1. When we were there, the air conditioning in both rooms we used cannot be properly adjusted. It was warm outside (28 degrees C) and we wanted to adjust it to 22 degrees without success. After discussion with their customer service, they moved us to a room with a balcony. No improvement on the air conditioning was achieved. 2. Cleaning of the room and replenishment of clean towers were not up to standard, probably due to insufficient training. 3. Services are otherwise good.

The hotel is located outside of the city center, but is very easily accessible via taxi and is incredibly peaceful. I cant recommend this hotel enough--its like staying in the middle of a garden. If we ever make it back to Xian, well undoubtedly book the Hyatt Regency.

Much further away from the city than we had planned but a new beautiful facility directly across from a mall with over a dozen good reastaurants. Not a lot of eastern options, but found a good pizza, decent movie and a store for items. Top shelf 5 stars.
