Only 1 person doing checkin with 20 people in line so checkin took 1/2 hour. I thought like most people that If I checked it on my phone the checkin would go more quickly. Nope for some reason that was a waste of time and I had to redo everything again with hotel employee. The room was clean and a nice bar out back and breakfast was ok.

I waited for a long time to check in as the person in front of me was slow, but the attendant never acknowledged me or made eye contact with me until she was done:( The hotel is old, the pool area is dated and our room smelled like stale cigarettes from the A/C unit. I should have taken poolside at least the chlorine would have been better than the stale cigarette smell. One of the bed's linens was so scratchy that my daughter slept on top in her clothes. Went down to breakfast and there was nothing my daughter or I could or would eat as it was all bread & Cereal - nothing fresh. Stopped at the front desk which was empty but some random man standing to the side asked me if I was checking out and took my key - I'm hoping he works there. The hotel felt like a much cheaper hotel but unfortunately, it wasn't cheap. We reserved this room because of the photos and the Wyndham name - greatly disappointed by both.

I would stay here again but the front desk lady (her name was Karen, literally) was such a grouch. We arrived in early and she acted like I was the worst thing that ever happened to her. As far as the hotel: I love the layout of the “pool view” rooms. We were here for a team even so we were all really close to each other and the pool was the main attraction. Picture the pool view rooms hotel part as a donut, the pool is the “donut hole” there is a restroom with a shower near the pool area however you need your keycard to enter it which became obnoxious with wet 3 kids. The pool itself was fun, included towels, but I do wish the pool would have the chemicals balanced better. As a pool owner I was hesitant because the water was very cloudy and a green/teal color rather that clear/blue. IMO the soda vending machine is totally overpriced. I mean come on this isn’t Disney. Overall I’m excited for our return trip next year, don’t be off out by the hotels exteriors it looks shabby but really it is not a bad stay. As far as sleep the mattress and the really firm ones where you can feel every spring.

Dirty, loud, gross! I had adjoining rooms but didn’t know the folks next door! It was like strangers were in my living room hanging out! I did get moved after the first night but only because I seriously complained. They did have a nice hot tub but, all of the screaming children were in there, even though it said no children under the age of 6….. breakfast was Meh, pool was ok, room was bad. Will never stay again

Our third time here in the last 4 weeks. Only once was check in staff even friendly. This last time, we stopped early, just to see if the room happened to be ready, if not we’d have come back. Desk staff said to me that policy said we couldn’t check in til 1. It was quarter to, so I said to the family, get the stuff on the cart, if it takes less than 15 minutes we will have a seat and wait. (The lobby was empty, there were several chairs, a tv on, fireplace and computer with more seating) the desk lady audibly huffed and started pounding the keyboard and THEN said check in was 130 at the earliest and “we can’t have you sitting out here”. “ just check in” I told her “if you don’t want us here we will leave” she said “your rooms ready just check in” I worked front desk of a hotel for years and have traveled often, NEVER have I experienced such terrible “hospitality” staff. If she would have said we can’t check you in til 130 at first we’d have left and come back no problem, I understand that. She said 1, then said we couldn’t sit in the lobby a couple minutes?? What are the comfy chairs, tv, fireplace and computer for?? The rest of the staff were great, last weekend in particular, one older front desk lady was wonderful. Room is dated but clean, pool area is great. We are here almost every weekend visiting our special needs son who is living at a facility here for about a year. He loves this place. But after that front desk interaction, not sure if we will be back

Room was clean. Adequate for our needs. Wish the pool had been a bit warmer, the 3 yo shivered a lot. But overall every one had fun. Would stay there again.

We have stayed here several times as our oldest kiddo goes to UWL. We love the addition of free breakfast and the pool area is fantastic for our family! However, this time our room was not very clean at all. Not sure if it wasn’t rented for a while, but the entertainment center was covered in dust, the bathroom floor was dirty along with the toilet and the fridge froze all of our food. I know everyone is short staffed and hope that from now on rooms will get inspected if they haven’t been used in a while.
