The room across from us had a dog that was barking, could hear engines coming and going from below (we were on the 5th floor, had no restaurant, no jacuzzi in the pool area, and the drink and snack station was very limited, etc. Not a great stay.

Very comfortable, clean, and staff was extraordinarily polite. Def take advantage of the valet-- so worth it. Quiet and peaceful, but very close to the airport and minutes from UC. I hope to be back.

Parking was tedious, need validation for every entry. There was also strobe flashing randomly after turning off all lights, which was very annoying.

Parking is steep and everything with valet even for a visitor not staying overnight is charged! Why is the hotel making profits on PARKING?

Good hotel and clean. The issue is parking. They have none. Valet is $60 a night and parking at a garage a block away is $25. For that reason alone I will not go there with a car again.

There was a blinking red light coming from inside a panel on the wall where the Heating/Air System was. I have pictures and videos. The guy working the front desk said there was no way it was a camera, and then just told me to have a nice day, effectively brushing it off. I am uneasy about this and have contacted the police.

Was check in at 1am. The guy with glasses at front desk helped us. Unprofessional at all. He was rude which maybe we bothered him while he was watching NBA games during our check in. And the mean time while we check in his phone was play the NBA games super loud. Guess he is big fans that’s why he can’t stop.

I didn't appreciate the cheap way in which you need to keep your key card in the wall for the lights to stay on. Nor did I appreciate the tile floors (no carpet) - it was like I was staying in a Spring Break hotel in Florida. And finally (and worst) was the hand held shower with no water pressure. All of these lovely features for the bargain price of $400 / night.

My husband and I loved our stay at the AC Irvine. The staff was very courteous and professional and the property is beautiful and well maintained. We loved relaxing by the pool and the fitness center. Highly recommend!

Parking is so over price $25 dollars a day is not true it's $20 every time you go in and out of parking structure in one day I spend $60 on parking in that structure $40 for valet is way over price it's no free parking no discount parking for vets parking way different at other AC locations I have been to

Have stayed here before where the hotel was a good value . but this time the hotel was expensive almost 300 and night, and we didn’t get maid service. They said we would have to ask, however, there was no one to tell you that maid service wasn’t on a daily basis at the end of the day it was almost $1000 for two nights, definitely not worth it. The area though is great. You were close to many great restaurants and not too far from anywhere. The one thing I want to mention is we were sitting in the small bar downstairs and got harassed by a drunk that was still being served by the bartender , we were surprised to see this, as we felt the bartender should’ve cut him off.

AC Hotel Irvine was great overall. The room was small for the price but the view from the balcony was very nice. The staff was excellent but a "clean" towel folded in the room for us was stained and the tv remote was broken. We were brought clean towels and they have an option for a mobile remote so we were able to remedy the situation but it was just a little off-putting.

This is a great hotel, located around great restaurants and attractions. Super clean and modern and the staff es very friendly. This is my second stay and as before everything was great.

This is a lovely clean modern hotel. Room size was a bit tight for four people with 10 days with of travel luggage but we made it work. We arrived late after a long drive and I was disappointed that our first room didn’t have a sofa bed for our kids to sleep (we did book one) so we went back downstairs with all our gear and then upon arrival to the second room had no linens for the sofa bed (I did also ask prior to check in)— and then when the linens were brought it was one sheet and pillow so they had to go back a second time…. I recognize how privileged that sounds but we don’t vacation often and that was hard at the rent of a driving day with two tired kids needing some sleep. Otherwise beds were very comfy and we had a good stay.

Great stay. Only complaint is the bar didn’t open until 5pm. Very walkable. Had to Uber from airport. No shuttle.

Very pleased with our stay here. Checking in was very easy and the staff was polite and welcoming. Self parking was easy at the structure near the hotel, the valet said we could unload our stuff from the car then park but we did not have a lot so we did not do that. We weren’t around much so we did not use the amenities - the pool looked great from a distance. Bedrooms were nice and clean, I do like that the rooms didn’t have carpet. We didn’t mind the room not being cleaned or towels replaced, we weren’t there long enough. The only recommendation for I have for the hotel is more towel hangers in the bathroom for guests to hang towels. I will definitely consider staying here again if we return to the area.

1. New tech for room lighting was not explained at checkin.
2. TV would only play corporate loop. No one on staff (4:30PM) could make it work.
3. Appreciated “pet friendly”.
4. Bathroom was spacious but lacked sufficient lighting for grooming.
